Large parking space is available. Hotel is bit away from city center. By car it’s only 10mins or less. Very clean and comfortable.
Humidifier in the room is great for the winter.
Staff is fluent in English.
This hotel just recently opened, so all its facilities are incredibly clean, and the location in American Village is excellent. Especially coming from the airport by bus, it's a much shorter walk compared to other hotels, and AEON Mall is practically right in front of it.
However, since it just opened, the staff's experience level isn't quite there yet. I don't expect them to speak Korean, but even when I asked questions in English, the responses weren't usually very helpful, and it often took a long time to get an answer. I'm sure this will improve with time.
The public bath is small but well-equipped and free to use. On the other hand, the gym is so small and poorly equipped it's hard to call this a 4-star hotel. There are only a few machines, and it's a cramped space with no view.
The swimming pool, which costs 2,000 yen to use, is far too small, despite the hotel being called a 'resort.' And even though you pay to use it, they don't even provide towels. The infinity pool on the top floor is so exposed to the wind that even in mid-April when I visited, it was incredibly windy and too cold to use. A small jacuzzi nearby would be nice. While the view of the American Village sunset from the pool is great, it's just too cold and small.
I do not recommend the breakfast. I had it included, but both days I just picked at it and then went to places like Komeda Coffee to have coffee and bread again. First off, the coffee in the breakfast restaurant is awful. Despite being an automatic machine, it seemed to mix concentrate rather than grind beans, or something similar, because I didn't finish any of the different types of coffee I tried. You're better off using the Nespresso in your room. There are no English descriptions for the menu items in the restaurant either. You can pick things out by sight, but selecting ingredients for the omelet was only in Japanese, so I had to use a translation app while eating.
Similarly, everything from the air conditioner to the bidet in the room only has Japanese explanations. This definitely needs improvement.
We stayed in a corner suite, and the room was incredibly spacious, a size you don't often see even in Korea. The terrace had a great view and was large enough to run around on. The bed was big and comfortable, and the sofa was big enough for about 8 people, making living in the room very pleasant. There were cups, a Nespresso machine, a Balmuda pot, an induction cooktop, and a washing machine with a dryer function, along with detergent, which was very convenient to use. However, the room lacked basic hotel amenities like notepads or pens, which would be a good addition.
The night view of American Village from the room was also beautiful.
As the hotel has been open for less than a month, there are still areas for improvement, but I expect it will continue to develop. I would visit again if I have the chance.

Okinawa is truly a fantastic travel destination, and this hotel's location is excellent. It's within walking distance of Kokusai Dori (International Street), and you can continue walking from there to Naminoue Shrine and the sunset beach. The highlight of this hotel is definitely the breakfast – it's incredibly rich and diverse! They have freshly grilled burgers, various Japanese dishes, and even a make-your-own noodle station which was delicious. My room on a lower floor didn't have a window, which felt a bit confining, but my room on the sixth floor had an open and spacious view. There's a large banyan tree with a historic feel right outside the entrance. You can also find some really good omurice and izakayas in the surrounding area.
I booked a basic compact room, and if the price isn't too outrageous, I highly recommend staying here! Here's why:
1. **Room Condition**: I stayed on the 6th floor. The tram line was right behind us, but it was very quiet and didn't bother us at all.
2. **Hotel Amenities**: They provide a capsule coffee machine, bottled water, and even heated eye masks. It really feels like a hotel that cares about its guests. Plus, there's a small pool, which is quite a luxury in Japan! I've stayed in over 10 hotels in Japan, and this one definitely ranks in my top 3 overall. I paid 600-700 JPY per night.
3. **Location**: Excellent. It's convenient for getting anywhere you need to go.
It is an absolutely beautiful location with private beach access and several pools. Most staff were kind and friendly. The food was delicious and provided many options for vegetarians. We will definitely go back to this resort again in the future. The only two complaints is that the pools close too early and the maid service doesn't arrive to clean rooms until around 17:00, which is the same time guests come back to their rooms to get ready for dinner after a long day outside. I have done a lot of traveling and maid service almost always comes between 11:00-14:00. So it seemed weird that we left our hotel room at 10:00 and returned at 17:00 to a still messy room.

I only took family photos, so I don't have any photos of the hotel itself,
but I'll try to break down the pros and cons in as much detail as possible.
The pros are:
It's close to the airport and on the outskirts, so it's quiet. Personally, what I liked most was that the guests were mostly Japanese families, without any crowds. They were polite and respectful, and the atmosphere was great, allowing for a comfortable stay.
The hot springs and sauna are open from morning until late.
There's a souvenir shop and convenience store on the first floor, which was convenient.
Breakfast offers a variety of Japanese and Western dishes, but the menu is the same for all three days, so keep that in mind if you're planning on having breakfast back-to-back.
The cons are:
Because it's an older hotel, the facilities are old and don't feel very clean.
The carpets in the guest rooms, especially the ones connected to the hallways, are obviously dirty.
You have to wear shoes or slippers anywhere except on the bed, which was inconvenient. There seem to be rooms without carpet, but you'll have to look into it based on your personal preferences.
The most inconvenient part of the experience was the walkway.
The walkway between the main building and the annex is long, and the elevators have different floor numbers, which can be confusing (in the main building, you press the 2nd floor button, and in the annex, you press the 3rd floor button).
The annex also has elevators at both ends, one for floors 1-6, the other for floors 2-12. For example, if you're in a room on the 11th floor and want to get to the first floor, you have to take the elevator on the left to the 3rd floor, then the elevator at the opposite end, and then go back to the first floor. LOL
The microwave is only on the first floor, and I had a really hard time using it once. I was a bit confused as to why they made it this way.
And parking is 1,800 yen per day.
There's also a private parking lot right in front for 700 yen.
You can just park in the annex if there's an empty space...
Instead, if you park in the paid mechanical parking lot, they'll check your ticket when you enter and exit, and it takes a long time. Absolutely don't do it.

The sea-view room offered beautiful views, directly overlooking the ocean. The hotel features a swimming pool and hot spring baths. A buffet breakfast is also available, though it comes at an additional charge. Conveniently, there's a 7-Eleven and a souvenir shop located right downstairs. However, its location is quite a distance from the Jie Xin Monorail station.
The island is so quaint. Hotel has a retro vibe to it. It is so close to the airport runway that they double layered the balcony door so we can't really hear planes taking off.
Unit was very spacious with separate shower and toilet areas. Fridge, microwave and a toaster provided. For breakfast, they say they are eco friendly so you have to use the basket provided in each roo, go down to ground floor and pick up the prepacked breakfast. You can decide to eat there, or go up to your room, or if weather permits, at the rooftop lounge.
Overall speaking, this hotel is value for money if choosing to stay in Onna Village. The ocean view is spectacular. We enjoyed it so much especially on the last day of our trip. We eventually had the blue sky and white clouds. The room is very spacious with a nice balcony! That's most precious for our holiday.
Since it was early Nov, the outdoor pool was closed. We used the indoor pool which comes with a outdoor jacuzzi. That's so lovely. Regrettably, the indoor pool was not available to use until after 9:00am in the morning, that was so inconvenient for hotel guests. We normally can't swim after having a nice breakfast.
There is an airport limousine at the main entrance of the hotel, that is very convenient for us because the hotel is located on the hill slope. We did not drive. So, we chose to book the limousine bus at the hotel concierge to save us time and energy to walk downhill to take the city bus after we checked out.
Although it cost 5000 yens for the BBQ dinner, the variety of food is good. So, we were quite happy with the money spent on it. The breakfast buffet also provided a good selection of food especially a good selection of cooked food with local veggies as ingredients. It was worth spending HK$140 for each of us.

Amazing
I booked the Beach House zone with 2 bedrooms and 1 living room, and overall, it was a wonderful stay. The room condition was excellent—very clean, beautiful, and elegantly designed, with a stunning sea view. The facilities were well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed. One minor issue was that at night, when closing the bathroom door, there was a wind noise, so we had to keep the bathroom door open while sleeping. Transportation between the main building and the Beach House was convenient with a golf cart service. Additional costs included a parking fee and a resort fee of 300 yen per person per night. Breakfast around 7:30 AM was quite busy, but I really liked their online queue system, which allowed us to reserve our spot virtually without waiting in front of the restaurant. The resort had three swimming pools. The first pool, located right next to the sea, was disappointing—it was very dirty, with algae at the bottom. Another issue was that the edge of this pool facing the sea was too deep; anyone under 160 cm would not be able to stand, even though it’s the side with the best sunset view. The second pool was located slightly higher up, but we didn’t use it. The third was an indoor pool, which we also didn’t try. Staff service was excellent. They spoke English and Japanese fluently, and some could even communicate in Chinese. Around the hotel, there were also quite a few good restaurants within easy reach, which was very convenient. Overall, I was very impressed with almost everything, except for the cleanliness of the swimming pool.
Unexpectedly Perfect Stay at Southwest Grand Hotel! 🌟 We stumbled upon Southwest Grand Hotel due to a last-minute flight change, and what a blessing in disguise it turned out to be! Our extra day in Okinawa became one of the most memorable parts of our trip—all thanks to this incredible hotel. 🛏️ Stylish & Photogenic Rooms The room was modern, chic, and absolutely Instagram-worthy. I even turned it into a mini photo studio and captured some beautiful family portraits of my wife and our 3-month-old baby. My wife was over the moon with the results! 🍳 Breakfast That Delights Every Palate The breakfast spread was phenomenal—offering both Western and Japanese options, all bursting with flavor. The cheese selection and homemade yogurt with honey were standouts. Don’t miss them! 📍 Prime Location Just a minute’s walk from Kokusai-dori (国際通り), the hotel is perfectly located for last-minute shopping or grabbing essentials. Super convenient and central! 🍽️ Vibrant Evenings As the nearby streets settle into a peaceful hush and most restaurants wind down with only a handful of diners, the lobby restaurants at Southwest Grand Hotel remain buzzing with energy. The lively atmosphere, filled with cheerful faces and clinking glasses, speaks volumes about the quality and charm of the hotel’s dining experience. 💭 Still Dreaming About It Overall, our experience at Southwest Grand Hotel was truly delightful. Even now—almost a month later—I can still recall every moment with vivid clarity. If it weren’t for the limited parking, I’d confidently call it Michelin-worthy! This hotel is an absolute hidden gem, and without a doubt, I’ll be staying here again on our next visit to Okinawa!
Hello everyone! We stayed at Rizzan Sea-Park Hotel Tancha Bay from October 3rd to 10th, 2025. The hotel’s location is convenient — not right next to the main attractions, but getting there from Naha Airport is easy. There’s a direct airport bus that takes about an hour and a half and stops right at the hotel entrance. When we checked in, we were first given a room on a lower floor, even though we had asked for a higher one when booking. The next day, the staff kindly moved us — really great service and attention to detail. We chose the half-board option (breakfast and dinner). The food was excellent — tasty, diverse, and offered in several themed areas: European, Japanese, Chinese, and Okinawan. Besides the main restaurant, there are plenty of other places to eat on-site — a BBQ area, Japanese izakaya, dessert buffet, and a cozy traditional café. The beach is small but very clean, with lifeguards always on duty. Sunbeds and umbrellas can be rented for a small fee, and towels are available for free with hotel coupons. The hotel itself wasn’t crowded, which made it peaceful and relaxing. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. Some parts of the interior look a bit dated, but that’s easily balanced by the stunning ocean views, fair pricing, and overall comfort. All in all, this hotel is a great choice for anyone looking for a calm, relaxing getaway surrounded by beautiful scenery. Highly recommend! 🌸
The hotel was one of the best hotel we ever stayed in! The room are spacious, the hotel staff are helpful and kind, the restaurant is great! The pool is the gem of this hotel, and the view from the pool was spectacular! The beach is walking distance and we could enjoy the beach in this beautiful weather! We can even see the sunset in our room which is memorable! There is firework on Saturday evening!
Good point: 1)Beautiful view 2)Have free car park 3)Have free swimming pool 4)Big space of room 5)Free daily item provided 6) Very quiet Bad point: 1) only convenient if you have a car/ uber 2) breakfast not recommended , most are cold food 3) not much shop/ restaurant nearby
My recent stay at the Novotel Okinawa Naha was an absolute delight from start to finish. I chose this hotel for its central location, but it exceeded all my expectations in every way. **The Stay: Comfort and Convenience** The rooms are modern, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable. The beds are like clouds, ensuring a perfect night's sleep after a long day of exploring Naha. The bathroom was spacious with a great shower, and the little sitting area was a nice touch. The view from our room was also lovely, offering a great look at the city. It’s the perfect peaceful retreat to return to. **The Food: A Delicious Surprise** We decided to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant on our first night, and we were so glad we did! The food was outstanding. We sampled both international dishes and local Okinawan specialties, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The breakfast buffet was equally impressive, with a huge variety of options—from Japanese classics like miso soup and rice to Western favorites like fresh pastries and eggs. It was the perfect fuel to start our days. **Overall Experience** What truly made the stay special was the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to be helpful. The location is also a major plus, making it easy to walk to Kokusai Street, the monorail, and other key attractions. We had a truly wonderful experience. Thank you to the entire team at Novotel Naha for such a memorable trip. **We will surely come again** on our next visit to Okinawa!
