The hotel doesn't provide complimentary drinking water, and there's no in-room water dispenser system. So, every time I wanted water or to make instant noodles, I had to go downstairs to buy it. After a long day, or first thing in the morning, having to get ready and go out just for water is really inconvenient. The TV is old and only shows hotel information. The toilet and shower are separate but extremely small. I didn't get a room upgrade, so my view was of the normal street downstairs, not Universal Studios. They also charged an extra 1200 JPY for two nights as a city tax.

Right next to the busiest tourist area in Osaka and with access to large number of facilities., Spaworld is surely a top choice to stay. But actually, the day ticket only costs 1500 yen and overnight staying fee is 1300 yen, which means you don't really need to stay in the hotel to use everything and stay for a night, kind of like a SPA net cafe. The plus for using the hotel is that you allow yourself to enter anytime you want.

Had an enjoyable stay here at Mercure! Amenities were complete, housekeeping & receptionists were friendly and able to converse in English which made our stay more pleasant. Location of the hotel is sooo convenient. - a 10-min walk from Shinsaibashi/Namba station - has family mart and donki nearby - taxi fare from the hotel to Nankai Namba Station (for the airport) was 1,400 won - all you have to do is cross the main road and you’ll already arrive at Shinsaibashi shopping street! My luggage was also damaged during my flight to Osaka, so the staff politely helped to handle the disposal of my luggage for free. The only thing that slightly bothered me was the superrrr dark lighting in the room. There were times I had to use my phone’s flashlight to find things but it was still bearable for me. Overall, thank you, Mercure :)

Had a pleasant stay at Osaka Excel Hotel Tokyu. The hotel is within walking distance of Shinsaibashi, making it convenient for shopping and sightseeing. Most of the food options are around the Shinsaibashi area, which is just a short walk away. One of the things I appreciated most was its location in a quieter area, away from the crowds and noise, while still being close enough to the main attractions. The room was spacious by Osaka standards, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was also a highlight, featuring both a bathtub and a separate standing shower, which added to the overall comfort of the stay. Overall, a great choice for travelers looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay in Osaka.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights during a trip to Osaka, and I was very pleased with the experience. The hotel is rated three stars and is located outside the city center, but it’s easily accessible thanks to the nearby train station, making it convenient for getting around and visiting Osaka’s attractions. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and well-furnished, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. The cleanliness is excellent, with the housekeeping staff doing an impeccable job every day. A highlight is the rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city. It’s a perfect spot to relax at the end of the day and take some nice photos of the scenery. The hotel staff is very efficient and helpful, although they don’t speak fluent English. However, they’re always ready to assist and communicate via online translators, which makes interactions easy and pleasant. Another advantage for those traveling by car is the hotel’s automated parking system, which is well-designed and easy to use. This mobile parking system allows stress-free parking and quick access to the car, ideal for those wanting to explore the surrounding areas of Osaka independently. The area offers a few dining options, with restaurants serving tasty food at very reasonable prices. Having a 7-Eleven and Family Mart nearby is also convenient, where you can make small purchases and withdraw cash from ATMs available 24/7—a true plus for travelers. In summary, this is a great choice for anyone looking for comfortable accommodation, well-connected to the city, with all essential services close at hand

We stayed in a twin room with our elementary school-aged child (3 people in total) and slept comfortably with no major issues. We enjoyed the complimentary beer, about two glasses a day, except on the day we went to Universal Studios. We also used the hot springs twice; the baths were spacious and, most importantly, not crowded, which was great. We had breakfast all three days, and the spread was decent and delicious. We'd definitely revisit! Oh, and the ramen served in the evening was also very good.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and overall I'm still very satisfied. The location is super convenient, right by the subway exit, and there's a FamilyMart convenience store right next door. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Osaka.

Waldorf set the tone for the entire luxury hotel in Osaka, it deserves the highest praise. From the moment you step out of the car upon entering the hotel, the emotional experience is flawless. Upon reaching the reception area, the hot towels and tea are a first thing you'll find that sets it apart from other luxury hotels. This attention to detail is so thoughtful; it shows how much they understand that after transportation, travelers can perform a handwashing ritual, representing not only physical cleanliness but also a reminder of mental well-being. It's fantastic. The only suggestion I could make is that having someone sit down during check-in would be better than standing at the reception desk. Other staff members who left a deep impression included Yui and another girl who showed us to our room (I don't remember her name, but I do remember she taught me that Yui's name is Y and I; she was all smiles, in high spirits, and explained the hotel facilities very well, greatly reducing any sense of unfamiliarity as a new guest). Since we returned to the hotel quite late that night, we mainly went to the bar near the back entrance for drinks. The bartenders were very attentive, and the welcome drink was delicious. When leaving the hotel, the staff throughout the journey were attentive. Because our next destination was relatively close to the hotel, the staff at the entrance (I forgot his name, but I remember he was short and had braces; his performance that day was perfect) arranged for a hotel car to escort us there. The driver was Italian, very professional, and had an excellent attitude. Words of gratitude are insufficient to praise this outstanding driver. If a hotel's maximum score is 5, I would give it a 6. It truly embodies the image of a luxury hotel and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I will definitely return on my next trip. I am grateful for everyone's efforts throughout the journey.

We booked this hotel to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect choice! The location is fantastic — it’s directly connected to Shinsaibashi Station via the B2-level underground walkway. There are also endless shopping spots along Shinsaibashi-suji. The views from our room were absolutely stunning. Everything feels brand new and modern. Highly recommend for a special occasion in Osaka!
