Hot Springs Hotels in Hainan, China

The hotel is located in Xinglong, making it convenient to take a taxi to Riyue Bay and Shimei Bay. Since we had already stayed in Lingshui for three days, we didn't have a strong desire for beaches. There are more activities for kids in Xinglong, and I recommend the botanical garden and farms. The hotel has three swimming pools, and although it was quite busy during the National Day holiday, it takes about 5-10 minutes to walk from the guest rooms, the pools weren't crowded, which was generally nice. The Hilton's cookies are delicious, and the breakfast spread is quite generous, but it gets a bit crowded after 9 AM, so I suggest going early. Shimei Bay has a great atmosphere in the evening, and Goofy Bar has a very good setting.

A Hidden Gem in the Mountains – Huge Thanks to Lan Tingting! Our stay at Narada Resort & Spa Qixian Mount was absolutely fantastic. The location is stunning – right in the rainforest with breathtaking mountain views and the sound of nature all around. The highlights: · Exceptional Staff – A huge shoutout to Lan Tingting, who was an absolute lifesaver. She was available via WeChat around the clock and helped us with every single question and request we had. What made it even better was that she spoke excellent Russian, which made communication so easy and personal. · Private hot spring villas – soaking in natural hot spring water on our own terrace was pure bliss. · Great food – the breakfast buffet was divine, with an incredible variety to suit all tastes. The combination of stunning nature, comfortable rooms, and outstanding service made our trip truly memorable. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and unique escape!🌿

Today is our second day here, and we chose a package with breakfast and hot springs. We even got mooncakes! We played golf during the day and relaxed in the hot springs at night – it was so peaceful and quiet. The breakfast spread was also excellent. Maybe it's the off-season since school just started, but there weren't many guests. After playing golf, the front desk lady recognized us right away, which was a wonderful feeling. Haha, it felt just like coming home. We'll definitely be back to stay and play golf here again.

The hotel is definitely quite dated. Even though I specifically asked the butler for a higher floor, there was still a noticeable musty smell—which is somewhat understandable for a seaside property—and the room looked worn out. On the plus side, the soundproofing was decent, so I actually slept pretty well during my stay. My biggest complaint was the concierge service. When we arrived, there was no one at the entrance to help us. I could overlook it since it was the busy National Day holiday, but I checked out on October 8th when the crowd had already cleared. There were no other guests checking out at the same time. We had a kid with us, carrying tons of bags and dragging suitcases toward our car. Three staff members saw us coming out: one grabbed a couple of car sunshades, and the other two just followed along, chatting and laughing as they quickly walked away. They clearly pretended to be busy just to avoid giving us a hand, which was really disappointing and hard to understand. 😔 On another note, the dinner buffet was alright—infinitely better than the one at the Sheraton Haitang Bay (which is hands down the worst buffet in the world). The Chinese restaurant was delicious, and I especially loved the fried rice (though that might have been partly because I was starving that day).

As a hot spring-themed hotel, the soaking experience is top-notch, and the resort vibe is spot on~ ⚠️ Check-in & Stay Tips to Avoid Pitfalls However, having stayed here during the National Day golden week, I'd like to share a few genuine thoughts: 1️⃣ Allow extra time for check-in: It was exceptionally busy during the holiday. After finishing the paperwork, it took nearly an hour before our room was ready. I’d recommend staggering your check-in time or communicating your arrival time in advance. 2️⃣ Room location to avoid: We were assigned the very last room at the end of the hallway on the ground floor. While the long walk wasn't a huge deal, lying in bed made it painfully obvious to notice the low-frequency vibration noise from outdoor equipment, which really took a toll on sleep quality 😴 I suggest proactively asking at the front desk if you can be assigned a room away from the mechanical rooms. 3️⃣ Hot spring experience: The soaking experience itself is great, seeing as this is the hotel's main highlight. I recommend setting aside plenty of time to fully unwind and enjoy it. Despite a few minor hiccups with the check-in process and room location this time around, the hotel's hardware quality and hot spring experience are still well worth recognizing. If you visit outside of peak season and manage to snag a good room, the overall resort experience should be much better~ Just remember to make room location a top priority when you go!

The Pullman Haikou was one of the most comfortable hotels we stayed at during our Hainan trip. The room was spacious, clean, and free from any damp or musty smells. We even got to see the dragon boat teams pass by during the National Day celebrations. The breakfast spread was fantastic, offering a great variety including Hainan noodles, Qingbuliang (a refreshing herbal drink), and even cucumber juice, which was a first for me at a hotel breakfast. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive and had excellent service attitudes, always ready to help with anything we needed. We'll definitely choose the Pullman Haikou again on our next visit.

A perfect stay! From the hardware facilities to the management and service, this hotel is top-notch and absolutely worth staying at. Facilities: Formerly a Shangri-La hotel, the renovation standards are exceptionally high, with a premium feel. You can tell a significant investment was made during its renovation. Although there are slight traces of time, it still surpasses many five-star hotels. We booked an Elegant Seaview Suite, and the lovely lady at the front desk directly upgraded us to a Premium Seaview Suite. She also proactively extended our check-out to 6 PM. The room was in a prime location, offering first-class views and a spacious and comfortable area of about 85㎡. Executive afternoon tea and complimentary beverages were included. Hygienics: The hotel is well-maintained, and the cleaning is very thorough, with virtually no blind spots. The cleaning staff were friendly and polite. Environment: First-row sea view, next to the Marriott. It's only a 6-7 minute taxi ride to the duty-free shop, Yuanda Shopping Center, and Wuyuanhe Farmers Market, making dining and shopping extremely convenient. Service: Five-star service. Doormen opened and closed car doors, and housekeeping cleaned promptly and thoroughly. We received a 99 RMB laundry voucher and had two white T-shirts washed. Breakfast service was also excellent. We even received a farewell gift upon check-out.

AI recently stayed at Nanshan Temple Muyin, Qinghuandu Rainforest View Hotel, and overall, it was a very peaceful and enjoyable experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all amenities in excellent condition, which made my stay truly relaxing. The service was excellent. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. A great example of this was when I tried to work out at the gym, which is located outdoors and had flooring that wasn’t ideal. The staff noticed me exercising and promptly offered an exercise mat so that my clothes would not get dirty. This thoughtful gesture left a positive impression. The hotel facilities were generally good, and the serene environment around the property added to the experience. The food was okay—not bad, but nothing particularly outstanding. Still, it didn’t take away from the overall comfort of my stay. In summary, Nanshan Temple Muyin, Qinghuandu Rainforest View Hotel is a great choice for those looking for a peaceful getaway with excellent service and comfortable rooms, even if the dining experience could be improved slightly.

We went in mid June, rainy season so it was low season. For the price that we paid for the 2 bedroom villa, which included breakfast (at another hotel) entry to ocean park, The Five Country Hot Spring City, and personal shuttle bus service within the island. I think it was well worth it. Service was prompt and courteous, although communication was all through WeChat and in Chinese. Convenient but knowing sone Chinese would be better to utilize services . We stayed in the Japanese style villa, and it was tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. We especially loved having our own dry and steam sauna, and our own personal outdoor hot spring bath! Real hot spring mineral water! I recommend this place especially for people who love hot spring baths and want to avoid busy touristy hotels. Cleanliness: overall quite clean. Location: walking distance to ocean park and hot spring city, so quite convenient. 5-10 minutes shuttle ride to most places within the island. Service: knowing someone is available 24 hours was nice. They were eager to help with whatever we needed. The main concierge during the day was more friendly, competent and experienced. Amenities: everything we needed was provided. There was a Dyson hair dryer, fridge etc. If you are picky about your shampoo soaps etc, you may want to bring your own. But they do provide them.

My recent stay at this five-star hotel far exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The front desk staff were very efficient with check-in and check-out, and they were all incredibly warm and helpful, promptly addressing any requests. The room was spacious and clean, with soft and comfortable bedding. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh food. Overall, it's great value for money and perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure vacations. Highly recommended!
