My wife and I came to Chongli for skiing, and we've stayed at the Tangyin Hotel before. We chose it again this time for a simple reason: great service and excellent value for money. What could be better than skiing, enjoying a hotpot, and soaking in a hot spring? A big shout-out to the hotel staff who contacted us in advance to understand our preferences and made the appropriate arrangements. We were very satisfied.
**Amenities**: The facilities are quite comprehensive, with hot springs, and the breakfast is also decent.
**Cleanliness**: Also pretty good.
**Environment**: The hotel is very close to Fulong Ski Resort, and there are many affordable dining options nearby.
**Service**: Service is definitely the highlight of this hotel, and it deserves a high rating.

I spent so long choosing a hotel at thaiwoo and I'm so glad that I decided on AB hotel! First, the service provided by Ms Wang was excellent, she was so patient and helpful, and communication by wechat was always prompt. Second, the hotel apartment looks modern and clean. I do not notice any smell even for a pet friendly hotel. Compared to nanshanli next door, I think that this offers a better value for money as you get a larger room (with kitchen and living room). However, the downside is that during winter we had to walk outdoors to get to the ski rental hall which is in the nanshanli building itself. Nonetheless my family looks forward to staying again in future!

First, let's clarify that the hotel's core strengths are highly competitive, especially for families. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the配套 B1 level children's water park, hot spring pools, and outdoor deer park offer a unique experience. Plus, its proximity to Hetou Old Street Scenic Area and the free shuttle service significantly enhance convenience. Such a comprehensive setup is rare among similar hotels.
However, two detailed issues during check-in and dining affected the experience, as follows:
1. **Confused Check-in Guidance:** Upon arrival on a Saturday, it coincided with a peak period for group tours. There were 3-4 queues in the lobby with no dedicated staff to guide guests. I chose a queue with only one person, but when it was my turn, the front desk staff temporarily left due to a group tour. Upon returning, I was informed that this lane was for groups only and was asked to switch to the left queue. After the person in front of me in the left queue finished, I was again asked to move to the leftmost lane. During these two queue changes, I did not see a duty manager coordinating. Other individual guests also complained about the queuing issues, and only then was water offered.
2. **Breakfast Restaurant Door Management Oversight:** The breakfast restaurant has a door that allows direct access to the deer park with a room card. Although it was covered by a curtain during meal times, hotel guests frequently pulled it open to go outside for a smoke or visit the deer park, causing cold air to blow directly onto guests dining near the entrance. I observed two groups of guests complaining about this, and the waitstaff merely closed the door and repositioned the retractable barrier, without implementing more effective shielding measures.
Overall, these two minor issues lowered the overall stay experience. I recommend that the hotel promptly adds more guiding staff during peak check-in times and installs fixed barriers, such as screens or movable tables, for the breakfast restaurant's direct access door to further enhance service quality.
Finally, I'd like to share my perspective: A good hotel is never solely about perfect facilities and unique features; it's also about embedding the user experience into every service detail. After all, even the most impressive hardware won't win hearts without attention to guests' feelings.
Live: The room is clean and tidy, and the area is slightly smaller than other four-star standard rooms, but it does not affect the travel with the family.
Next to the hotel, there will be a little vibration at night, but I can’t hear it when I fall asleep.
Eat:
Breakfast is not very friendly to people who have difficulty getting up early at 9 o'clock. When we arrive at the restaurant at 8:40, the remaining amount of dishes is very small, and the insulation measures are not very good. The restaurant is a bit cold. The food is basically cold when you get it on the table. Hot water and porridge are eaten throughout the process.
There is a Yuehu restaurant in the hotel. The dishes taste very good. The big salmon in the reservoir are delicious and fat. The dried fried river shrimp is also delicious. Recommend it. The service staff are very friendly.
Play:
Hot springs, there are about 4 adult pools in the room and 1 child pool. There are two groups of pools outdoor. We prefer the outdoor ones. Although the temperature is cold, it is very comfortable to soak in it and the air is fresh.
The pool, the heated pool is great~ the water is clean
Overall it is good, it is worth coming again

The room location faced the ski slopes, offering a beautiful view. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and tasted great. The outdoor hot spring gave us southerners a unique 'ice and fire' experience (it wasn't actually that cold). It was my child's first time watching the iron flower performance, and they were very excited. This is a very family-friendly hotel; they basically provide all the daily necessities for children. Parents who want to ski don't have to worry about childcare, as the Duole Camp on floor G of building D offers full-day childcare services for kids. It's a bit far from the Thaiwoo town center; adults can walk without issues, but it might be tiring for children. There's a shuttle bus every twenty minutes. Overall: I'd choose this place again next time and recommend it to friends.

The hotel is behind the metro station. The room was ok. The breakfast was also ok, not too many international options tho. The cleaning ladies forgot to leave us water and take out our trash for some days (we had to ask extra in the reception that they should please clean the room). They also forgot our welcome fruit 😕

An incredibly satisfying stay that exceeded all expectations! This time, on a ski trip to Chongli, I booked a room at the Housnow Homestay based on a friend's recommendation. The actual experience, however, completely surpassed that of a typical hotel.
1️⃣ **Exceptional Service**: After booking, the owner immediately created a group chat, adding relevant staff for check-in arrangements, housekeeping, ski equipment rental, and more. The owner's service was personalized and customized throughout; they went above and beyond to fulfill our requests. I was particularly embarrassed when I accidentally left something on the table at the entrance, but the staff immediately sent it via SF Express – truly outstanding service.
2️⃣ **Excellent Facilities**: The room was incredibly spacious. We stayed in a two-bedroom, one-living-room unit, and each bedroom had its own en-suite bathroom. There was also a Xiaomi humidifier (absolutely essential in Chongli). Since the homestay shares a lobby with Xuelu Residence, we were immediately impressed by the warm, solid-wood Christmas ambiance upon entering. The homestay's rooms also featured warm tones and solid-wood furnishings, which I absolutely loved. It's worth noting that the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and all the bathroom fixtures were ROCA, which was fantastic.
3️⃣ **Convenient Location**: The homestay's location is excellent. From the lobby, it's just about a hundred meters walk to the Thaiwoo Ski Resort lobby, where you can get your ski passes and start skiing. Within a hundred meters, you'll also find the Thaiwoo Lifestyle Zone with a Lawson convenience store and dining options. There's a parking lot right downstairs from the homestay, and the elevator goes directly there, so you don't have to go outside – super convenient!
In summary, it truly exceeded all expectations. The owner is a person of great character with meticulous and thoughtful service. Many thanks! I'll definitely choose your place every time I come to Chongli, haha. I'm going to recommend you to everyone I meet!!! Wishing the owner a booming business~~
The hotel environment is very good, with ample parking spaces. The front desk lady Sally is professional and enthusiastic. The hotel's buffet breakfast is rich in variety and of good quality. The hotel is very close to the Tangquan Palace outdoor hot spring, a five-minute walk. It is very convenient. It is a perfect accommodation for a hot spring trip. Excellent choice, highly recommended👍👍
It was another pleasant weekend. It was very comfortable to sit on the small terrace, bask in the sun, drink tea and read books. The private hot springs and public venues have their own merits. There are also many choices of restaurants, and many parent-child activities have been added. The most important thing is that the service here is constantly improving. I am especially grateful to a manager named Li Dan for giving us high-quality service. From the guidance of the itinerary to the handling of details, we feel like home. The children are very happy. I am already looking forward to coming to Ruige again next time.

The hotel is close to the scenic area. You can take the scenic train to the foot of the Great Wall, climb the mountain or take the cable car. It takes more than an hour to climb the mountain. The hotel is in the style of a northern courtyard, with a large lobby, complete room facilities and good sanitary conditions. See the picture for the specific layout. The breakfast is rich, especially the fried dough sticks are well made. Parking is convenient and free. There is an ancient town next to the hotel (built later)

GGuest UserI recently stayed in room 3129 at this hotel and overall, I had a good experience. The location is excellent as it sits right in front of the beach. The hotel also has a hot spring which is a nice addition, although some areas were not functioning properly due to being broken.
The reception staff was very attentive and friendly, particularly one male employee. However, it seemed that the female staff members were not as willing to work.
I highly recommend trying the massage services offered at the hotel. I had a neck and back massage which left me satisfied.
The breakfast buffet was decent and the dining room supervisor and the reception staff at the buffet were friendly and hardworking. Most of the cooks and servers provided good service.
I would also recommend paying for the dinner buffet as it offers a wide variety of seafood. The only downside was a young grill cook who lacked proper manners when I asked a question about the food. He responded lazily and rudely. Additionally, there was a young waitress with a tattoo on her leg who seemed uninterested in working. While the rest of her colleagues were cleaning and setting up tables, she would simply join them and sit down or play with her mobile phone.
In terms of the room, the cleanliness was below the minimum standard. It was quite neglected, as they only mopped the floor and it still wasn't clean. There were hairs from previous guests throughout the room. The private hot spring in the room could also use some improvement.
If you have any questions or need further information, the hotel has my details from the room reservation under the name for room 3109 from 17/08/23-21/08/23.
GGuest UserThis was my first stay here. We had a 3-bedroom family suite, perfect for a family stay. It was spread over two floors, which was great, featuring 3 bathrooms and a walk-in closet on the second floor. The suite was spacious, with a living room and an open-plan kitchen, plus a fridge and a washing machine, which was very convenient. The facilities were a mix of new and old, but the overall environment was acceptable. However, there was a strong smell of dog urine in the hallway, and even running an air purifier didn't help.
Upon check-in, the hotel offered complimentary hot spring tickets or movie passes. We chose the hot springs, which were quite good, featuring both indoor and outdoor pools. It was relatively peaceful and not crowded.
Breakfast had limited options, but the noodles, rice vermicelli, and wontons were delicious. The only downside was that it didn't open until 7:30 AM.
The hotel offers a free shuttle bus service to and from the station, which was quite convenient. However, it doesn't pick up/drop off right at the hotel entrance, but at the town entrance instead.
GG. Solo TravelerJ had a lovely stay at the Argyle resort and the fact that you just need to cross the parking lot to get to the Dongshan Bathing Spot is definitely amazing! There are some tourist attractions close by, but very far from historical sites.
The room was ok, but it looked different from the pictures. Probably a bit of mold on the wall or water damage, dirty windows, and a piece of the wardrobe door was broken. Not what I would expect at a resort.
The breakfast had so many options, but very few western choices, limited to sliced bread, butter and jam, yogurt, fruits and coffee. The coffee machine always had an issue, but the staff quickly came to fix it. During my stay there, everyday someone complained about the coffee maker.
One of the things that I found really nice is that every day they would bring or leave fruit in my room. But on the last day, I was sleeping, and someone came in. She did apologize, but it was weird having someone in your room while you’re there.
In terms of amenities, they have everything really! From shower cap to razors. And the blow dryer was really good!
Because it was golden week, the staff was overwhelmed with work (lots of guests and weddings) and they didn’t talk about the facilities - gym, pool, hot springs.

3320554****The room is so big, clean and sanitary, with complete utensils, especially the free hot spring ticket and farm ticket, which is great. Dining in Makino style downstairs is also very cost-effective, and the KTV is also super cheap. I have been here n times, but the business building is not as convenient as the Holiday Inn. , it’s still a long walk to get to the hot springs, and you can’t go to the holiday hot springs.

GGuest UserThe suite is very large, the top floor is very high, and the children are very convenient to run. The balcony is transparent and you can make tea around the stove to see the scenery. There is a garden behind the hotel, the scenery is very good, the wall is recommended, and the photo is very good! The downside is that the carpet is dirty, the curtains are not tight, the house is bright early in the morning, and I sleep very uncomfortable. The bathtub is super slow, and the water in the basin is cold, and it has not been filled with half of the water in the bathtub. In particular, the breakfast at this hotel may be because of the May Day holiday. The underground is full of water and oil. The plate is full of water. The coffee cup and bowl are only given to one. It is also brushed by the back kitchen. The guests are everywhere, and there is no service staff to maintain order. The service staff of the omelette are working while answering the phone... chaos everywhere! Don’t eat dinner at this hotel. We ordered a hairy blood. The waiter went to the wrong table. The guest at this table made the wrong meal. I saw it in my eyes. The waiter checked the order and found that it was wrong. I brought this dish to an empty table. I put it for two minutes and gave it to me directly. I really don't know how to evaluate this hotel! In short, you can stay in the store, don't choose here for dinner.
MM43875****Facilities: Very comprehensive, with a free and convenient storage area for ski gear. Hygiene: Satisfactory. Environment: Excellent, the ski slope is right outside the lobby. Service: Very warm and welcoming. Manager Liu Shuang at the front desk and the breakfast chef were very enthusiastic in answering our questions and proactively helped us resolve issues. Extended Stay Perk: Room upgrade (subject to availability) to a mountain view room. Welcome Fruit: Provided daily. Minibar: Refreshed daily.
