Chongli is absolutely perfect for a summer escape! Even though rain was forecast, we managed to avoid it almost entirely, making for a perfectly smooth trip. The hotel staff were warm and welcoming, and the facilities were comprehensive. If you're looking to just relax, you basically don't need to leave the building for any of your daily needs. There's a park downstairs where you can feed deer, which is a great way to keep the kids entertained and free up the parents. The shuttle bus stop is right at the hotel entrance, so you can usually hop on as soon as you step out. The recreational facilities in the town are also great; the cable car and the views from the mountaintop were much better than I expected.

Guest UserHuge shoutout and a perfect score for Manager Qin! Our summer getaway to Thaiwoo was completely stress-free and delightful, all thanks to her. Whether it was changing room types, asking about cable car, hot spring, or hiking routes, or even minor issues during check-in, Manager Qin was always there to patiently coordinate and resolve things immediately. She's incredibly kind and gentle, very organized, empathetic, and always puts guests first. Under her dedicated management, all the staff are warm and enthusiastic, the rooms are spotless, and the complimentary activity tickets offer amazing value. Having such a responsible manager truly elevated our travel experience. Next time we're in Chongli, we're definitely choosing this hotel again, specifically because of Manager Qin!

Guest UserFor a hotel of this caliber, I'd say it's pretty good. The location is excellent, right next to the beach. Breakfast was plentiful, and the service was prompt. Zhao Ying at the front desk was very helpful, answering all my questions patiently and thoroughly.
However, there were quite a few issues with the details:
When we booked the table tennis club, we assumed it was part of the hotel's facilities. To our surprise, after the 'person in charge' arrived, they asked us to switch to another table with noticeable damage. That wouldn't have been a big deal, but then the 'person in charge' and three teammates started playing on the table we had just vacated. My family then started using a robot practice machine, but we were stopped and told that we had only rented one table. With just one minute left on our time slot, we were 'precisely' reminded that our time was up. To keep my family happy, I didn't say anything, but I have to wonder: if both tables were the same, why were we made to switch? And if they weren't the same, why wasn't the price different? This is the first time I've encountered such a situation at a hotel, and I'm not even sure if this is under hotel management's purview.
The overall room hygiene was acceptable, but there was always a urine smell in the toilet cubicle. The hot spring pool in the small courtyard was full of fallen leaves, clearly not cleaned for a long time. The door to the courtyard was warped, making it difficult to open and close, and the sensor light kept turning on by itself, so we had to block it.
There are many steps throughout the hotel, and some of them lack accessible ramps. Even where ramps exist, they are so steep that they wouldn't be practical for people with disabilities.
I hope the hotel can improve on these points and continue to get better.

Anonymous UserThe room was spacious, easily accommodating our family of four, including elderly parents and a child, with its separate bedroom and living area. It even had a kitchen with a washing machine and dryer, and a large refrigerator, just like at home, which was perfect for storing food, and keeping drinks and snacks chilled or frozen in summer. The hotel is very close to the town center, practically right downstairs. Just a few steps away are the dining and commercial streets. It's close to KFC, and there are also many Chinese restaurants and food trucks, with all sorts of entertainment options concentrated here. The best part was the hotel's hot springs, with multiple indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor ones felt really pleasant and not stuffy. They lit up at 7 PM, creating a lovely ambiance. It was also very convenient to access the hot springs directly from the hotel corridor. The hotel breakfast was predominantly Chinese, and quite filling.

Olivia....
Where do I even start. This is where one stays when they're looking for relaxation, resetting and mind clarity after months of facing life challenges. The sea view is just out of this world. The soft and sweet scent as you walk into the hotel is just what I needed after a long journey. I always travel with my laptop and I really liked the fact that I could easily connect it to the TV using the hdmi cable. The service is perfect.

Guest UserThe island boasts soft sandy beaches and clear waters, with a rich variety of activities. The water-splashing carnival was incredibly exciting, and soaking in the hot springs while gazing at the sea was wonderfully relaxing. The nighttime performances were excellent. This type of resort rarely has a competitor that can measure up.

betty5113Changling Yudao Resort Family Trip – A Real Experience
From May 31st to June 1st, our family of three visited Changling Yudao Resort in Nandaihe. Overall, the value for money was excellent, making it perfect for short trips with kids. Here's a full breakdown of our stay and activities:
**1. Super Affordable Package Price**
We purchased an all-inclusive package for just over 600 RMB, which included accommodation, breakfast for three, and a full entertainment pass for the park, including the hot springs. The pricing was incredibly fair and didn't feel inflated at all, making it very family-friendly.
**2. Rich Park Entertainment, Tons of Free Activities**
All basic attractions within the park – like the mini-train, sightseeing buggies, boat rides, and Ferris wheel – were free. Plus, there were continuous special performances:
* **Stunt Stage Show:** Impressive scale with amazing sound and light effects, providing an excellent visual experience.
* **Stunt Car Show:** Thrilling and exciting, with fantastic sound, light, and electric effects creating an immersive atmosphere.
* **'Chi Wen Jiu Jiu' Bubble Event:** An immersive bubble ocean that the kids absolutely loved.
* **Exclusive 'Silver Tickets' from the hotel:** We used these for traditional games like ring toss, beanbag toss, and 'touhu' (pitch-pot), winning more 'silver tickets' to exchange for other activities. It was a lot of fun!
* **Petting Zoo:** Perfect for kids who love small animals.
* **Brand New Water Park (opened June 1st):** Featured a full range of water activities, as well as outdoor fun like big grass slides. The variety of activities was impressive.
**3. Clean and Comfortable Accommodation, Exceptionally Warm Service**
The guest rooms were neat and clean, and we even received complimentary fruit upon check-in – thoughtful details that made a difference. After a full day of playing, the park's sightseeing buggies were incredibly convenient; you just waved, and they stopped for you.
We happened to meet the hotel's Deputy Sales Director, who actively asked for our feedback on accommodation, entertainment, and dining, and even gave us a thoughtful small gift. Although the hotel's standard checkout time was 12 PM, the kind sales staff extended it to 1 PM for us, showing great flexibility and understanding.
**4. Excellent Pre-Arrival Service, Smooth Entry Process**
The day before our arrival, a sales representative proactively contacted us via WeChat to confirm our itinerary and accommodation details. They also helped us arrange entry QR codes in advance, saving us from queuing at the entrance. The entire entry process was smooth and hassle-free, and the sales staff was enthusiastic and responsible.
**5. Reasonable Dining Prices**
The prices within the park were very reasonable, without much markup.
The free buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including various hot stir-fried dishes, with both taste and selection being excellent.
**6. Hot Spring Environment**
The hot springs are divided into indoor and outdoor areas, with over a dozen pools of varying temperatures, so you're sure to find one that suits you. There were many service staff diligently cleaning and even helping to look for children. Near the water, staff constantly reminded children to wear swimming caps and to be careful not to jump in, ensuring safety. The environment was also excellent.
Overall, Yudao Resort offers a wealth of activities, thoughtful service, and affordable prices. It's incredibly family-friendly and highly recommended for families planning a short getaway with their children.

Location is truly 'zero distance': a 1-minute walk to Liuzhuang Night Market, with a vibrant atmosphere right outside the door. Yet, it's surprisingly quiet despite being in a bustling area, and there's a dedicated free parking lot – a huge 'jackpot' benefit during Beidaihe's peak season, saving the hassle of finding parking.
Extremely family-friendly: There's a soft play area with a ball pit on the second floor, freeing up parents' hands. The front desk also provides free beachcombing tools, saving the cost of buying them. These details show they really 'get' the needs of families with children.
Thoughtful room details: The family room has plenty of charging ports (USB + dual sockets), solving the anxiety of charging electronic devices. The vase in front of the TV is fixed with adhesive to prevent children from knocking it over – this safety detail is a big plus.
Service is on point: The front desk staff are proactive and responsive, making for a smooth check-in experience.
Overall recommendation: This is a very practical, service-oriented resort guesthouse/hotel. If you're coming to Beidaihe with kids to enjoy the beach and night market, you can't go wrong with this place – definitely a no-brainer!

Guest UserEvery year when I come to Chongli for summer, I usually stay at Fulong. This time, since they were fully booked, I ended up at Tangyin. There's plenty of parking, and while the room isn't huge, it's clean and tidy with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The bedding is comfortable, the TV allows screen casting, and there's air conditioning, which is really necessary in Chongli during summer. The front desk staff and the cleaning ladies were all very enthusiastic. For dinner, the hotel's restaurant serves freshly made steamed dumplings that are light and tasty, and the small baked flatbreads are crispy. It's perfect if you're looking for a light, simple meal. The breakfast selection is also quite rich. The hotel is conveniently located near various popular restaurants and local vendors selling fresh fruits and vegetables. There's one lady who sells incredibly delicious fresh braised tofu and soy milk. It's a great value-for-money hotel, and I'll definitely stay here again next year when I visit Chongli.

YuanxiaobaobaoddWe stayed in a spacious double room in the office building, decorated in a slightly old-fashioned style. Although there was no private hot spring, there was a bathtub. Watching the New Year's Eve gala on TV as a family was quite pleasant.
Breakfast was fairly plentiful; the pancakes were good. There was fruit, cold dishes, stir-fries, and various staple foods. The coffee was instant.
Agricultural Park Mini-Pass (Unlimited Entry and Exit): This was excellent; we strolled around. The pass inside was 55 yuan, and we played in the snow world and bumper cars, which was well worth it.
Double Hot Spring Resort: This was my second visit. It was too crowded and rather old. The price-performance ratio was acceptable.
