The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, making it easy to get to the scenic spots. The high-altitude scenic tea house offers a unique and interesting view overlooking Yangtianwo Square, Dujiangyan South Bridge, and the ancient town of Guanxian. The facilities are clean and practical, exceeding what you'd typically find in an economy hotel. Considering its prime location and the Chinese New Year price surge, the overall cost was still very reasonable and a great value for money. The breakfast generally met our needs, and the rice noodles were particularly good. There was an issue with the room facilities on our first night, but after speaking with the front desk that evening, we were moved to a different room of the same type the next day. The communication with the front desk was very smooth, and their service attitude was excellent.

Pros: The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly facing Mount Emei, and in the evening, we could seemingly hear the temple bells from Baoguo Temple. We chose to stay at Le Méridien after our hike, looking forward to some relaxation. The hotel is indeed quite large with beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was plentiful, featuring freshly prepared dishes, a welcome change from pre-made options. We stayed in a deluxe lake view room, offering both mountain and lake views, which was truly lovely. The soundproofing in the room was decent, and the bedding was comfortable. Cons: 1. Initially, our two booked rooms were not in the same building. After inquiring at the front desk, they found a twin room in Building 2, allowing us to be in the same building. It makes you wonder why they were assigned that way in the first place. 2. The room's central air conditioning only provided heating. When we checked in, the room was exceptionally hot; even with the AC off, the temperature was around 27 degrees Celsius (likely due to the room facing west and getting direct sun). However, the housekeeping service was excellent – they promptly brought a portable air cooler, and their service was always timely, thorough, and enthusiastic. This was a stark contrast to the less attentive bellhop service in the lobby. 3. For such a large hotel, having only two elevators per building (Building 1 and 2) seems inadequate for a Le Méridien property. It also raises safety concerns, as there are no staff members at the elevator entrance. If you need to access rooms on other floors, you have to take the stairs (I used the emergency stairwell twice to retrieve something from a room on the 6th floor, a tip given to me by a housekeeper). 4. The large bathtub in the bathroom is genuinely enormous. I suspect anyone under 175cm might need to be careful not to drown! 5. The exterior windows of the scenic room looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. I'll stop here for now. I'm writing so much because I actually quite like Le Méridien, and I hope to see improvements next time I visit.

During the Chinese New Year, I took my child to Mount Emei and stayed at the Hampton by Hilton. The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. The breakfast was also very rich, and the room even had toiletries prepared for children. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

Staying at the Bi Peng Gou Likuan Hotel was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel's decor is stylish and minimalist, and the public areas are clean, comfortable, and have a great ambiance. Our mountain-view room offered expansive views; we could literally open the window and see lush green mountains. The air was incredibly fresh, which was so relaxing for both mind and body. The room facilities were brand new and fully equipped, with convenient smart controls and excellent soundproofing, ensuring a high quality of rest. The staff were all very kind and responsive, always ready to assist with any request, showing great attention to detail. The food was clean, hygienic, and perfectly palatable, catering to various tastes. The hotel's amenities are comprehensive, and it offers outstanding value for money. It's truly rare to find such a comfortable accommodation in a high-altitude region. This hotel is perfect for family trips, friends traveling together, or even solo road trips. I genuinely recommend it to everyone.

We had a fantastic tranquil stay for 2 nights at this accommodation. The hosts are wonderful and show great hospitality to all their guests. They have offered rides in the area (for us a visit to the panda base was a must), organized a transfer, offered tea and coffee throughout the day and were available all the time. Our highlight was picking tea leaves with the family’s grandmother and preparing the tea with the family’s grandfather. The room and public places are cosy and well equipped. Our son loved the tree house in the backyard. The food was tasty and their menu offered us to try some local delicacies. Recommendation to everyone who wants to stay in the area around Ya’an.

The environment was great, and the owner was very welcoming. Knowing we were going skiing, they even arranged for the cafeteria staff to bring our breakfast to our room early in the morning – a very thoughtful touch. The overall environment was very comfortable; both the public areas and the rooms themselves showed a focus on making guests feel comfortable.

This hotel is incredibly quiet, which is great for light sleepers. It's very clean, the facilities are quite new, and the bedding is really comfortable. The location is close to Baoguo Temple Station, and they have a private parking lot. The front desk staff are very friendly and patient, answering any questions you have. I highly recommend staying here.

I think this is the best hotel you can choose in Bipenggou. The hotel's condition is quite rare for an area near a scenic spot. Plus, the altitude is very friendly, just over 2000 meters, so it's less likely to cause altitude sickness. It's good for getting acclimated before heading into the valley the next day. The staff, especially one gentleman, was incredibly warm and friendly, providing excellent service – a big thank you to him. The hotel rooms are spacious and well-equipped. It's very close to the scenic area, and the hotel offers free shuttle service. Our stay was very comfortable, and we had a wonderful holiday.

Absolutely blown away by this hidden forest gem at the foot of Mount Emei! The New Chinese-style rooms are elegant and tasteful, with all the amenities you could ask for. Being surrounded by the forest, all you see out the window is lush greenery. The private hot spring on the balcony is simply divine – soaking in the natural radon spring with the forest breeze was incredibly relaxing. The butler service was warm and attentive throughout my stay, and the high-speed rail station pick-up and drop-off made things super convenient. The complimentary sound healing and scripture copying experiences were wonderfully Zen. The restaurant served authentic and delicious food, and nearby museums and ancient temples were within walking distance. This stay, combining natural healing with cultural experiences, is definitely worth coming back for again and again!
