Aphrodite Boutique Hotel

Fantastic family run hotel in the heart of Aliki. Clean, comfortable air-conditioned rooms with good hot water. Reception staff (Amber & Maria) were very helpful & spoke English. Beautiful pool area with a quiet, homely feel. Ideal location for short walk into town, the harbour & restaurants.

Lovely family run hotel , exceptionally clean , great helpful staff. Handy walking distance to resturants in Plaka. Some rooms have spa's, but all spacious and well equipped. Enjoyed our stay.

Lovely family run hotel , very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast a little on the basic side but all fresh and a lot of local fair. Exceptionally clean. Nothing was to much trouble , would definitely recommend for a relaxing Paros stay.

Stayed here with my family (kids are 14 and 12) because of a screw up with our other hotel so needed somewhere last minute. Luckily they had a two bedroom ‘suite’ available which was basically two adjoined rooms with a shared door. Simple but very cute. Bathroom small but everything worked. Good aircon. Welcome from the owner and his team was great, very friendly people. Someone described the pool area as small - it is but it’s really sweet and has loungers and a bar seating area. Lots of plants and decoration to make it nice. We went onto another hotel and then ferry got cancelled so ended up needing somewhere to stay for a night at the end. Kids were adamant they wanted to go back to the Afrodite and luckily they managed to find us room. Best thing about the Afrodite is the location. It’s fantastic. Two minute walk from a lovely beach with probably around 8-10 good tavernas. Friendly car hire place next door. Reminded me of Greece back when I first started going in the 80s. Really low key, friendly and somewhere kids can wander freely. Afrodite is not luxury, glamorous accommodation. But it’s genuine, sweet, pretty and is in a lovely spot. When we left we got gifts including a bottle of wine which was a lovely touch.

We spent one night, the room our children were staying in smelt of drains and nicotine, plus it had wires coming out of the wall adjacent to the shower head, the owner/manager disagreed it was smelly, or the wiring was dangerous, I tried to explain the room was not suitable to be occupied due to the danger of the wiring and the smells, but he was very adamant it was ok, so we left. Having booked for a week, we were given a 50% refund, so our 1-night stay was very, very, very expensive, the owner/manager was not at all helpful or considerate to our claims at all, just wanted us to avoid making a scene in front of other guests. Pool area is also very small, nowhere to sit other than at one end where people are reading/sitting in outdoor chairs Breakfast was very limited, for the 12 euros per person, better off going into town a few metres away.

Accommodations were nice enough but I thought a bit overpriced. At first my A/C didn’t work but they changed my room. Very walkable location - the village is small. Public bus very close.

Don’t miss this adorable hotel with the best service on the island! We were pleasantly surprised with our stay in Alyki. After visiting naoussa parikia and Kolybithres by bus (easy 2€ bus ride), we were so happy with our decision to stay in the quieter, more beautiful, more local feeling Alyki. Our hotel concierges were so friendly and wrote us our detailed maps. They helped us plan in detail every excursion, typing in what I needed to know on my phone, screen shorting bus schedules for me, calling transfer services, helping our plan our routes and our day! The pool and outdoor area is delightful to lounge all day in peace and quiet. The hotel waiter was so kind and he brought us out free ice cream or drink samples each day! The beach is just a one minute walk down the block and has the best restaurants— we ate elsewhere on the island a couple of days, and it was nothing compared to Alyki. The location was perfect to walk to 3 different beaches within 5 minutes- we woke up early and ran and it was very safe and peaceful with lots of other runners doing the same. The breakfast at Afrodite is incredible- fresh local produce and honey, Greek yogurt, eggs, meats, cheeses, a variety of pastries, oatmeal, cereal, coffee, juice, water, anything you could ever dream! Our room was simple but was fine. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel and Alyki to everyone who visits Paros!
