Just 5 minutes away from the city center, nothing else to pick! Especially in the backyard, reading under the osmanthus tree is very comfortable👍

Stayed here overnight after my 6 day tour in Jordan. They’re quite strict with their check in time; strictly 2pm but you can leave you things if you want to go around or wait there. Staff were okay, not very chatty or something but will answer your questions if you got one. Didnt try their breakfast but its a normal Jordanin breakfast with some hummus, salads, and bread. Its 4JOD if not included in your booking. They have complimentary water, coffee, and juice 24/7. Room & toilet inside was clean. Very close to downtown. 10 min walk to most souks and rainbow street. A lot of nearby grocery and small local restaurants. They offer tours too.

This is a honest review . I really had a great time at Sydney Hotel, totally recommend to you all . Stayed in Amman only because of the people, team at Sydney hotel. They are lovely people and take care of each and every traveler with all their needs. Looking to come again soon. It’s a hotel in the right location of downtown with all the chaos being away. Even yummy breakfast , clean showers and backyard. They are 24x7 so it makes it another good point. Only after finding them through booking and making sure it’s the right place. Lately I found they are really the best for even being the right place. You feel more customised and super happy in the building. The cat is friendly and the swing is perfect spot. Definitely check . You will be happy .

Stayed at the Hotel for 10 day for a business trip. Great location (5min walking distance to downtown yet quit rooms), very friendly staff, convenient inside and outside lounge, good breakfast, extra service like pick-up from airport or extra bed worked well, etc.: all in all excellent value for money

The staff here are very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble from assisting me with my luggage on arrival and departure to arranging sightseeing and airport transfers, currency exchange and answering all my questions of a first time visitor. The breakfast buffet was delicious and quite unexpected, thankyou Chef. I especially enjoyed the local atmosphere of the common areas and the amenities in my private room.

The Sydney Hotel is located in a historic area convenient walking distance to City Center and the famous Rainbow Street. For budget travelers, this hotel is an excellent choice. It is spotlessly clean, secure, offers both Arab and western breakfast options, has laundry facilities and a shared kitchen. The staff are very welcoming and will go out of their way to help you arrange transportation and tours. You will meet travelers from all over the world here. If I ever return to Amman, this would be high on my list of places to stay.

The girl in the Hijab on reception was really helpful, she gave a lot of recommendations which were nice, she also set me up with a sim card and set it up which was a great deal. The room was small nice for 1 night, there was space to leave your luggage before and after check out and free water and lemon water to drink. The taxi driver they sent to us was very nice also and they were in constant contact with us.

I stayed 4 nights with single room. It provided good privacy as a hostel. Clean rooms with no noise at night. Good wifi, free air-con service and complimentory drinks. Super convenient location in the downtown and all the famous sightseeings are within walking distance. The only down side is you need to take another taxi from the North bus station if you take the airport bus.
