Guest UserAn amazing host and an outstanding stay! Highly recommended
The host is incredibly easy to communicate with and always replies so promptly, which made our entire trip hassle-free. The place itself was sparkling clean, and all the amenities and essentials were fully provided and in great condition.
What touched us the most was when a small issue came up during our check-out. The host went above and beyond to help us handle it quickly and smoothly. We are deeply grateful for the kind and prompt assistance!
The host is truly a wonderful host who genuinely cares about his guests. We would definitely choose to stay here again next time!

This is by far the best onsen hotel I've ever stayed in! It's located around Jozankei town, with a shuttle bus service from Sapporo, making it very private and quiet. The room is spacious enough, and the private onsen is excellent – my skin felt so smooth after a soak. The bedding was comfortable, and the pillows were quite high-tech. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a healing view of the snowy landscape, and if you're lucky, you might even spot a raccoon! The service was top-notch, patient and enthusiastic. I have to rave about the food at this hotel; the Italian dinner was incredible, every dish was superb, using seasonal local ingredients and beautifully presented. After dinner, you can even take some rice balls, desserts, and drinks back to your room. The hotel has a smoking room and vending machines, so you don't have to worry about going hungry. I'd love to come back again in the summer if I get the chance.

The hotel is conveniently located near the station, the interior feels new and modern, and the female staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I had a wonderfully comfortable stay. My room was spacious, and everything I needed was thoughtfully provided, leaving me completely satisfied. This has certainly become one of my top hotels, and I would love to stay here again. Thank you for a great experience.

Checking in was a real struggle. It was a self-check-in system where you'd never know if you didn't receive an email. They didn't send me an email in advance, so I shivered in the lobby for about thirty minutes before finally finding out how to check in. The location was great. The room was in good condition and clean.
However, one of the beds had a broken frame, so it creaked the whole time I was sleeping. My daughter worried it might collapse.
The draft was too strong near the bed, and the floor wasn't heated at all.
While I liked the location and cleanliness,
checking in was incredibly difficult. The poor condition of the bed, drafts, and heating made it a bad experience from day one.

Guest UserThis hotel was the biggest disappointment of our entire hot spring resort trip. We specifically stayed two extra nights in Jozankei to stay at this hotel because of its high ratings. However, it was the least recommended hotel of the trip. The hotel is quite small, the rooms are very old, and our room on the first floor with an outdoor hot spring felt like a basement. The room was dimly lit, and the bathroom was dark. The carpet felt extremely dirty. Overall, the reviews seemed inflated. However, this hotel was also the most attentive among the kaiseki meals we had during the trip, so my review is mixed. I hope for a fairer and more impartial review. If the hotel sees these reviews, I hope they can improve the condition of the rooms on the first floor and the lighting in the public areas. Finally, I must mention the welcoming gentleman was truly professional and touching. Because we arrived early and couldn't check in, we needed to find a coffee shop. He not only patiently explained the situation but also personally led us to the intersection in the heavy snow, explaining the features of each restaurant in the vicinity. Very thoughtful!

Stella_LLLThe hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Sapporo Station. It's a slightly awkward distance — a bit too close for a taxi but not ideal when carrying luggage.
It is also located in the opposite direction from popular attractions such as APIA and Odori Park.
The room was generally clean & tidy, and the facilities were excellent, including the spa and rooftop observation area. I enjoyed the view from the higher floor. Housekeeping was also good. However, there seemed to be dust in the air, which caused frequent sneezing and a runny nose for one of my family members with allergies. One small suggestion would be to provide two complimentary bottles of water daily rather than replacing toothbrushes every day. The laundry facilities were also quite limited, with only three machines available, so waiting times could be long.
A special mention goes to the FamilyMart G/F, which was very convenient. The staff there were also exceptionally helpful and thoughtful. Despite language barriers, they always made every effort to communicate and assist us with our requests. Overall, a comfortable stay with great facilities and excellent service.

I stayed here for 3 nights with 5 friends.
It was about a 10-minute walk from the nearest Sapporo Station, so I think it was within walking distance.
There were no convenience stores or shops near the hotel, but there were convenience stores, izakayas, and other shops on the walk from the station to the hotel.
I booked a twin room with two double beds, but when we got to the room there was also a single bed so 5 people could sleep there.
Check-in and check-out were a little confusing, but I was able to ask a hotel staff member right away using Skype at the unmanned front desk, which was great.
