"The location is superb, with a side entrance directly facing Tanukikoji, perfect for evening shopping at the drugstores. There's also an airport bus stop nearby. The best part is the incredibly rich breakfast and excellent service. Plus, every adult gets a free beer coupon daily, which is a real bonus for beer lovers, haha! As usual, the rooms are a bit small. They say housekeeping is every two days, but someone comes in daily to empty the trash and replenish towels. In the lobby, you can help yourself to free toothpaste, toothbrushes, facial masks, and bath salts as needed. However, the hotel's prices are a bit inflated on weekends, and ironically, booking in advance can be significantly more expensive than booking on the day. This time, Trip.com customer service was fantastic and helped me get a refund for the price difference. I'm very satisfied with Trip.com's service, which made for a perfect trip."

"The location, needless to say, is absolutely perfect for a city walk in Sapporo's blossoming streets. It's just a 10-15 minute walk from Sapporo Station, and popular spots like the TV Tower and Tanukikoji are all within walking distance. Plus, there's a Lawson convenience store right nearby – super convenient! After walking miles and enjoying delicious food all day, coming back to the hotel for a relaxing soak in the bath just fills you with pure bliss! I was already charmed by the lovely ladies at the front desk during check-in, and then at breakfast, I saw all the handsome gentlemen were on duty too. I started wondering if this hotel hires based on looks – breakfast truly offered a feast for all the senses! So yeah, I really love Sapporo. I'll definitely be back next time, and I'll definitely be staying at this hotel again! BTW: Sapporo's food is just SOOOOOOO good, LOL!"

"I don't understand why this hotel was prioritized in my search results. It's essentially a budget hotel. I chose it because I saw great reviews online, saying it was super close to the station – right across the street – and had a generous breakfast. However, when I actually got there, I found it was still a good fifteen-minute walk from the JR station. So, if location is your priority, I'd recommend other hotels right next to or even inside the JR station, like the Nikko. If you want a better quality stay, you could always take a taxi to other mid-to-high-end chain hotels in the city center; at least then you're guaranteed quality. The breakfast was just okay, nothing special. The 'exquisite Japanese breakfast with seafood' only consisted of a tiny plate each of sashimi and shrimp. I found the rest of the food to be pretty average. Don't be fooled by the luxurious seafood rice bowls in the promotional photos... As for the room, I arrived at the hotel close to 7 PM. When I entered my room, I found the window faced an outdoor staircase, which was dark and quite unsettling. The key thing is that the room photos during booking didn't show this kind of layout for this room type, so I asked to switch. The hotel, however, said it would cost extra. I thought about checking out, but it wasn't an option. So, I just paid the extra and endured two nights. It was pretty frustrating, to say the least. Service and Facilities: Don't expect much from a budget hotel's service; it's just adequate. You get two 330ml bottles of water daily, no more. The room was very damp. Even though I kept the bathroom dehumidifier running 24/7, the bedding was still damp and uncomfortable to sleep on. After all the previous issues and discussions, I couldn't be bothered to 'battle' over the bedding now. The TV has screen mirroring, but no cable TV. If you want to watch something, you have to log into your own accounts on TikTok or other apps, which is quite inconvenient for someone used to having the TV on for international news. So, overall, I definitely do not recommend this hotel."
