JJiaoxilaoshiThis is by far the best onsen hotel I've ever stayed in! It's located around Jozankei town, with a shuttle bus service from Sapporo, making it very private and quiet. The room is spacious enough, and the private onsen is excellent – my skin felt so smooth after a soak. The bedding was comfortable, and the pillows were quite high-tech. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a healing view of the snowy landscape, and if you're lucky, you might even spot a raccoon! The service was top-notch, patient and enthusiastic. I have to rave about the food at this hotel; the Italian dinner was incredible, every dish was superb, using seasonal local ingredients and beautifully presented. After dinner, you can even take some rice balls, desserts, and drinks back to your room. The hotel has a smoking room and vending machines, so you don't have to worry about going hungry. I'd love to come back again in the summer if I get the chance.

Even though we are Muslims we still had lots of options to eat !! Except for some dishes that had pork like the ramen and curry :(

JjaneshiluI booked this hotel three months in advance. Taking the bus from Sapporo directly to Shiraishi Waterfall Station was much more convenient than taking the subway and then finding a shuttle. The hotel was meticulously cleaned, and we waited until 3:30 PM for check-in. The buffet dinner was good, but the breakfast wasn't as lavish as at The Windsor Hotel Toya. We caught a heavy snowfall, and soaking in the outdoor onsen was amazing. There was a harp performance, and the surrounding area was also nice to explore.

GGuest UserI arrived in Sapporo late at night and took a taxi from Sapporo JR Station to the hotel, which cost about 1800 yen. The next morning, as I pulled open the curtains, I was absolutely stunned: before me was a beautiful world of pristine white snow, with Nakajima Park spread out in full view. I was so grateful for the clear blue sky, allowing the distant mountains to be clearly visible. It truly lived up to its name as a 'room with a view.' Although the facilities are a bit dated, the room layout is very practical, and the bathroom is spacious enough. The bedding and linens are all of high quality.
The breakfast buffet was plentiful and excellent. Eating breakfast in the ground floor restaurant, with its large floor-to-ceiling windows, and watching the snow silently fall from the trees was an indescribable pleasure.
Even better was the hotel's location for transportation. Nakajima Koen Station's Exit 3 and Exit 1 are only a two-minute walk from the hotel, making getting around incredibly convenient!
The front desk service was also impeccable. We stayed for a total of three nights, but had to switch rooms for the third night. When we returned in the evening, the staff had already moved all our luggage to the new room. It was a very thoughtful gesture.

HHeehee218The location is quite good, just 1 hour ride from Sapporo city centre! And they got the shuttle to pick up! The overall environment is nice, and walkable distance to various nature area! The only improvement area is either having more staff knowing English or having some display explaining in English, which would make things easier for both parties.

GGuest UserThis onsen hotel is definitely worth the price. The environment and hygiene are excellent, and the room layout is fantastic. The yukata was the most comfortable I wore during my Hokkaido trip. The service was absolutely superb, especially the proprietress at the Kaiseki restaurant, Shoan. She was incredibly elegant and generous, giving us an authentic and meticulous Japanese service experience. The private onsen with a fee had average views. The outdoor public onsen was closed on the day of my stay due to cold weather. The indoor onsen, for a hotel of this price point, was quite ordinary. Therefore, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the onsen experience. All in all, while it might not be exceptionally surprising, this is a hotel that's well worth its price.

AAnonymous UserI stayed at this hotel based on a friend's recommendation. Its biggest advantage is the airport shuttle (1500 JPY/person) right outside the hotel, which is also the first stop. The journey takes 1.5 hours. It's also a maximum 10-minute walk from Sapporo Station. The room was clean, but the gap between the two beds was a bit too narrow. The bathroom was spacious and came with disposable slippers. There's no bottled water in the room, but drinking water is available in the hallway. I chose the Japanese set meal for breakfast, which was good. The front desk service was excellent, and there's a weighing scale in the lobby.

未未来与远方The hotel's location near Shin-Osaka Station is incredibly convenient for buses, Shinkansen, and subways. It was a thoughtful touch that they offered free umbrellas downstairs on a rainy day, no registration needed. Plus, there are plenty of dining options right downstairs.

GGuest UserI would like to express my deepest gratitude to the wonderful team at the hotel for making my stay truly exceptional. The breakfast was delicious every morning, the room service was excellent — truly among the best I’ve experienced — and the laundry service was very convenient. The hotel’s location also made it easy to walk to nearby sightseeing spots, which added even more enjoyment to my trip.
My sincere thanks to 大高, who showed exceptional patience and kindness while helping me book the bus to 登別溫泉. She even went the extra mile to contact another hotel and arrange a pickup for me on May 3rd. Her thoughtful support made my journey much smoother.
I am also very thankful to 陳家仁, who provided clear and helpful advice on how to take the bus. His guidance and willingness to assist gave me great confidence during my travels.
Additionally, I want to give special appreciation to 神永, whose professionalism and dedication were outstanding. He clearly enjoys his role, and his support with the shuttle bus departure was both efficient and reassuring.
My heartfelt thanks also go to Assistant Manager Hayashi Shuko, who demonstrated excellent leadership and warm hospitality throughout my stay. Her attentiveness and professionalism added greatly to the overall experience.
I would also like to acknowledge Bell Antony and the entire bell team for their well organized arrangements for guests taking the free shuttle bus. Their coordination was smooth, thoughtful, and very helpful.

GGuest UserI had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Grand Mercure Sapporo. One of the highlights was definitely the lounge, which offered a wide variety of snacks and drinks throughout the day. It was well-stocked, nicely presented, and provided a great space to relax, whether for a quick refreshment or to spend some quiet time.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and soothing, making it an excellent place for rest and recovery. The environment felt peaceful, and everything was designed to help guests unwind. After a busy period of work, this stay served as the perfect break to recharge both physically and mentally.
