JJiaoxilaoshiThis is by far the best onsen hotel I've ever stayed in! It's located around Jozankei town, with a shuttle bus service from Sapporo, making it very private and quiet. The room is spacious enough, and the private onsen is excellent – my skin felt so smooth after a soak. The bedding was comfortable, and the pillows were quite high-tech. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a healing view of the snowy landscape, and if you're lucky, you might even spot a raccoon! The service was top-notch, patient and enthusiastic. I have to rave about the food at this hotel; the Italian dinner was incredible, every dish was superb, using seasonal local ingredients and beautifully presented. After dinner, you can even take some rice balls, desserts, and drinks back to your room. The hotel has a smoking room and vending machines, so you don't have to worry about going hungry. I'd love to come back again in the summer if I get the chance.

AAnonymous UserUpon checking in, I upgraded from a standard twin room to a deluxe corner twin room for the first night directly at the front desk. The view was expansive, the bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The hotel's service was excellent, and I really enjoyed my stay. Although it was a bit pricey, coming back to a comfortable room after a day of sightseeing was definitely worth it. The hotel is also quite close to Sapporo JR Station, about a 6-7 minute walk. I'd love to come back again if I have the chance.

JjaneshiluI booked this hotel three months in advance. Taking the bus from Sapporo directly to Shiraishi Waterfall Station was much more convenient than taking the subway and then finding a shuttle. The hotel was meticulously cleaned, and we waited until 3:30 PM for check-in. The buffet dinner was good, but the breakfast wasn't as lavish as at The Windsor Hotel Toya. We caught a heavy snowfall, and soaking in the outdoor onsen was amazing. There was a harp performance, and the surrounding area was also nice to explore.

GGuest UserI arrived in Sapporo late at night and took a taxi from Sapporo JR Station to the hotel, which cost about 1800 yen. The next morning, as I pulled open the curtains, I was absolutely stunned: before me was a beautiful world of pristine white snow, with Nakajima Park spread out in full view. I was so grateful for the clear blue sky, allowing the distant mountains to be clearly visible. It truly lived up to its name as a 'room with a view.' Although the facilities are a bit dated, the room layout is very practical, and the bathroom is spacious enough. The bedding and linens are all of high quality. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and excellent. Eating breakfast in the ground floor restaurant, with its large floor-to-ceiling windows, and watching the snow silently fall from the trees was an indescribable pleasure. Even better was the hotel's location for transportation. Nakajima Koen Station's Exit 3 and Exit 1 are only a two-minute walk from the hotel, making getting around incredibly convenient! The front desk service was also impeccable. We stayed for a total of three nights, but had to switch rooms for the third night. When we returned in the evening, the staff had already moved all our luggage to the new room. It was a very thoughtful gesture.

GGuest UserThis onsen hotel is definitely worth the price. The environment and hygiene are excellent, and the room layout is fantastic. The yukata was the most comfortable I wore during my Hokkaido trip. The service was absolutely superb, especially the proprietress at the Kaiseki restaurant, Shoan. She was incredibly elegant and generous, giving us an authentic and meticulous Japanese service experience. The private onsen with a fee had average views. The outdoor public onsen was closed on the day of my stay due to cold weather. The indoor onsen, for a hotel of this price point, was quite ordinary. Therefore, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the onsen experience. All in all, while it might not be exceptionally surprising, this is a hotel that's well worth its price.

PPeter DaThey charge an extra 150 yen to use the hot springs, which wasn't clear when we checked in! For a hotel costing several hundred dollars a night, it really should be included. The first Japanese breakfast we had wasn't great, but the second one was delicious – I guess everyone has different tastes. The room was a bit dusty and a lot of small details weren't cleaned properly. I'd recommend this place more for friends or couples. Overall, the value for money isn't great, and I wouldn't recommend spending this much.

AAnonymous UserI stayed at this hotel based on a friend's recommendation. Its biggest advantage is the airport shuttle (1500 JPY/person) right outside the hotel, which is also the first stop. The journey takes 1.5 hours. It's also a maximum 10-minute walk from Sapporo Station. The room was clean, but the gap between the two beds was a bit too narrow. The bathroom was spacious and came with disposable slippers. There's no bottled water in the room, but drinking water is available in the hallway. I chose the Japanese set meal for breakfast, which was good. The front desk service was excellent, and there's a weighing scale in the lobby.

未来与远方The hotel's location near Shin-Osaka Station is incredibly convenient for buses, Shinkansen, and subways. It was a thoughtful touch that they offered free umbrellas downstairs on a rainy day, no registration needed. Plus, there are plenty of dining options right downstairs.

FFang1381997This hotel seems quite popular with Chinese tourists. Sitting in the lobby, I almost felt like I was back home, it was so noisy – probably all tour groups. The room was really small, and the heating was turned up way too high. The facilities are a bit old-fashioned. The window was surprisingly large, which is rare for Japan. Breakfast didn't offer much variety and the taste was just so-so. Overall, it was an average experience.

WWushuaThe snow right outside the hotel was so thick and beautiful, it was incredibly soothing. The kids could literally play in it from the moment they woke up and never get bored. The hotel itself was good, clean, and the staff were polite and friendly. It's about a kilometer's walk from Tanukikoji, and we usually walked back and forth. Because the snow was so deep, the kids would play along the way, so it took us a bit longer, but we had a great time. For going to Otaru, you'd need to rent a car for the day. There are a few ski resorts not far from here, and you can take the JR directly. One time, we dragged our luggage and gear to go skiing, only to be told that the snow from the night before was too heavy, and they hadn't had time to clear the roads, so there was no transportation. We had to drag all our stuff back. So, skiing isn't something you can plan perfectly; you also need a bit of luck, or just stay directly at the ski resort. I'm planning to stay at a ski resort for a whole month next winter, skiing one day and hot springing the next!
