"We were very disappointed with our stay at the Empire Hotel Kowloon. The room was extremely small and poorly laid out, especially the bathroom, which was very cramped and impractical. The window was tiny, letting in barely any natural light, which made the room feel even more claustrophobic.
The furniture and building overall felt old and worn down, clearly in need of renovation. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the indoor pool — but to our surprise, it was closed for renovation during the peak summer season. This was not communicated clearly in advance, which felt misleading.
To make matters worse, the cleanliness in the bathroom was far from acceptable. Overall, this hotel does not live up to its price or rating. We would not stay here again."
