Very good location with wet market just next to the hotel and plenty of spa/massage nearby and walking distance to shopping malls (very near BCS mall and just 8-10 min walk to Grand Batam Mall). A2 food court is nearby too. Given its centralized location, grab to various places is fast and cheap. Definitely a plus for its location. Complimentary hotel breakfast is good thou some food is cold, they immediately heat up for you if you asked for it; there is eggs, porridge, lontong and prata station too. For the low price we paid for the room, no complaints. Family suite room is huge! For luxury spa/massage lovers, pls check out Amartha Spa & Massage located at the hotel - be pampered and you will love it! We are very happy with our stay. Will definitely book this hotel again.

Breakfast was good, variety was ok on the weekend, however need improve the variety bfast on weekday. We stayed for 5 Night on 14 - 19 Oct and staff were also very friendly, courteous and helpful, especially for Rafft for making our stay extra enjoyable with his great service. Comfy bed, and big bathroom. the location of the hotel is very strategic in the city center and if you want to go to the mall or look for other food options it's only walking distance.

Wonderful apartment. Very clean and worth the price. The ambiance of the hotel is simply breathtaking. The elegant décor, tasteful furnishings, and attention to detail create an atmosphere of sophistication and luxury. Everywhere I looked, from the stylish lounge areas to the meticulously landscaped gardens, there was an air of refinement that made me feel pampered and relaxed. The room itself was a haven of comfort and tranquility. Spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed, it provided everything I needed for a truly rejuvenating stay. The plush bedding ensured a restful night’s sleep, while the modern amenities, including a state-of-the-art entertainment system and high-speed internet access, catered to my every convenience.

Hotel was mediocre. Room does not have minibar. Airconditioning works weirdly. Switched it on but cannot feel any cold air within the room. Had to switched it off and switched it on again and again to ensure it works perfectly. Heater was useless. By the time it hits the second person who wants to shower,theres only cold water. Raised it up but no difference. So didnt bother to raise it up again. In front of the hotel there was a massive construction with a lot of noise obstruction. No message was left in the room to inform us on the massive drillings that we had to face. Nevetheless, the balcony was a plus point. Your staff Bayu was great. Check in was seamless , he took the time to explain to us thoroughly and informed us on the channels that was showing WorldCup. The Google nest in the room was a plus point too! Which i think its very brilliant. Havent been to a hotel that uses a google nest as a form of communication to the Reception which is very user friendly. Netflix and spotify was available too! Walking distance to Nagoya which is fine. Provided a 24/7 in room spa services whch require a 30minutes lead time as well. It was an average stay. Could have been better.

Sahid Batam Center Hotel & Convention is having a good advantage on location, located in the heart of Batam Center, where luxury and homey abound. It is an old hotel, but it is well maintained and it is connected to a modern life style, near local culinary and having a good entertainment with roof top bar. The staffs are giving a good hospitality and helpful. Sahid Batam Center hotel could fit for business and personal use. Over all, Sahid Batam Center Hotel & Convention is a good hotel to stay. My main complaint of this hotel is that there is a ”Private KTV (Level 4)” and this is served by two lobby. At the lift lobby (which has 5 lifts), out of which only 2 serves Level 4 which is literally named ”Private KTV (Level 4)”, so definitely not all guests would know of this hidden floor. Very seedy :| Next morning at the the hotel breakfast restaurant, there were a lot of ”suspicious characters”... the kind of guys you'd expect to patronise a KTV, with young pretty girls (probably ******* or hostesses) around their arms, which made the breakfast environment very uncomfortable. The food was subpar anyway, bland, tasteless and overall poor (although the food isn't the main issue). Truly don't think the hotel is family-friendly with the presence of a ”Private KTV”. I guess you get what you pay for, cheap hotel with cheap visitors. Otherwise, here's what's good about the hotel. Location was nearer to Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal (10-15 mins drive), and Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall (5-10 mins drive), though there's not much in the area, not even an Indomaret convenience shop. Rooms has wooden fixture which gives it a ”rustic charm” feel. Aircon is fine, the lobby is grand and alright. Service is alright I guess, nothing too outstanding, and not that bad either. Will probably only return to this hotel if I know the ”Private KTV” has been closed for good.

Location is a plus point. Near Batam Center ferry terminal n a shopping mall. Staff super friendly, when we reached the hotel, was raining heavily. But our coach can’t enter the carpark. So the hotel staff came out to the road side n shelter us with umbrella n help us with the luggage.

I stayed with my husband in 3505 for 2 nights. This resort is Perfect for all sorts of travellers, business, solo couples or families! Decent breakfast spread starting as early as 6am so you can have a hearty meal before you go about your day. There’s a games room with pool tables, darts and foosball tables - fun for friends, families and couples. A huge swimming pool for both grown ups and kids, a tranquil spa and a kids room for the little ones. The room, although some have commented that it’s slightly dated, it is very well maintained! Plenty of TV channels, room size was spacious and everything was functioning well. Not to mention it was very clean as well and bright with a lot of natural light. We were upgraded to the suite, with a nice view of the pool. There hotel grounds were always clean. We came across landscaping staff keeping their plants tidy. There wasn’t a single fallen leaf in the pool! Sunbeds were kept dry and clean for guests. All the staff of Holiday Inn Resort Batam have certainly made us smile with their friendly service, namely Dinda, Ocha, Raya and Angga (I hope I spelled their names right.) I didn’t manage to get the names of the staff at the restaurant during breakfast hours but I hope the management will also extend my praises to them after seeing this post. The chefs, the live station cooks and all the service staff greeted us whenever they see us. They promptly cleared plates and offered freshly brewed coffee (the caramel latte was good!). Also kudos to housekeeping for keeping our rooms fresh. Location was slightly outside the city area but we had no problems getting anywhere with Grab. Also - the welcome cookies were yummy! :)

I don’t give 1/5 reviews. I am only triggered when the cleanliness and hygiene is an issue. This hotel gave me a room that I had to walk through a smoke reeked corridor. When I went into the room, I got a room that had so much wordless shakes than nods of approval. 1) Toilet was not clean. There was mold. 2) Room had to be “perfumed” with a packet of something hanging on the air con duct 3) ALL the towels in the room were stained. Asked for a new set and it was STILL stained 😳. 4) No shampoo as a 4 star hotel. 5) Recycled bed room slippers ( of which I am fine ) but it was stained with dubious stuff. 6) Room picture hangs precariously over my head. 7) The extra bed I paid extra for came without a bed frame and was placed on the floor. Housekeeping said it is like that 😵‍💫 Management has to do something. The poor housekeeping got a hard time from me 🙏🏻

Me and my family had the chance to stay at Aston Nagoya Hotel. We got check in process was super fast and seamless. We were assigned to a room on the 13th floor and oh boy.. what a nice room. It has the best city view of batam, in the night we can see the lighting of batam. Nearest from food court and shopping mall. All the staff very great service from the security, reception and resto staff. They did a very good job in providing an excellent service. Last but not least, special thank you to the Duty Manager, Mr. Randi who made our stay very memorable. He was very kind and attentive to all our needs throughout the stay. Thumbs up for his great job and effort to make our stay enjoyable. He is a great asset to this company. Definitely will stay here again and highly recommended hotel in Batam!
