Hotels near Mirador in Blanes

Theres no denying the staff at front desk are receptive, attentive, friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean. The location is superb. The dining area allows you to look over at the promenade....But I wish there were some regulation / international standard with the star rating of a hotel, especially when you chose the hotel based on star rating. I would not consider Hotel Horitzo to be a 4 star hotel, compared to other hotels I've stayed at ranging from 2 star -5 star. This is due to the sheer fact that the rooms were fairly basic. A mini fridge with no snacks, drinks or appliances. There is also no water readily available for guests throughout the day. Just breakfast and maybe dinner. Upon that said, there is a small supermarket called Condis 3 minutes from the hotel, as soon as you exit the hotel, immediate right up the road till the zebra crossing left on the right. . Not far at all. The price of the hotel is based on its location. Directly across the beach. That's it's main selling point. Some rooms may come with a power shower, very impressive others do not. If you do not get a beach front view you most likely will end up looking at the local area ( residents flats). Not picturesque at all. The variety for breakfast is satisfactory. Quite limited. There are few restaurants along the beach front, dotted around the beach front which enables you to experience Blanes day and night. Blanes is a lovely place for couples, family and the elderly. I'd have had my expectations matched if it said 3 stars.

The room was very good, the breakfast was very good, and there was everything you need, sugar, salt, hot drinking machine and cold drink. The staff was very sympathetic and welcome, they moved to ensure their clients are as satisfied as possible and nothing is missing. I recommend this hotel for a small stay in the city of Blanes, in family or between friends (in family, the ideal is to take separate rooms, they are still quite small, we were three cousins and it was the ideal ).

Lovely hotel in a guite location, right beside train station so great base to explore and 1 hour from Barcelona, beautiful beach but not great for swimming or children as it has a very step shelf. More activities further long beach in Santa Suzanna which is 20 minute walk and more lively. Hotel itself was very clean lovely rooms (ours had sea view which is spectacular) small but practical. All inclusive was great, food was exceptional with great variety again though not for smaller children. I only have one complaint/issue, as we were all inclusive we paid 2 euro for a drinks card, refundable at checkout, this is guite common, however we were served drinks in plastic glasses which again is fine while by the pool but not on an evening while sitting in main bar, but staff would not provide proper glasses for us, also cocktails on the all inclusive menu are a measure of alcohol with a pre made mixer from a machine but a paying customer gets a somewhat proper cocktail, when we addressed this staff told us paying customers only get a proper cocktail and are permitted to use glass and we had not paid!! also we might drink more, now the age of our group range from 40's to 70's so by no means big drinkers. The moral of this story is and which staff didn't seem to care about was that we had indeed paid for our food and drink, we paid in advance by adding that option to our booking pre travel and this can be expensive so all customers regardless should get the same drinks in proper glasses on an evening. Most staff are lovely and friendly but like anywhere there were a few with no personalities. Would return to the area though, maybe even to the hotel!!

Hotel was super amazing. Loved the amenities and staff was really helpful. Best part was the breakfast spread. Both pools were great as well. The construction seems very new as all the furniture in room were in top condition. I felt the only downside during our trip was the in-house disco event for our day of visit. It was quite dull( but that’s something specific to the performer, I guess). Overall will definitely recommend staying here for the amazing experience.

Stayed here for my daughters 18th, 2 adults and 6 17/18 year olds! (Mad I know) Couldn’t really fault the hotel For what we paid, great location if you are there to have a good time! If you are there to relax then This is the wrong hotel for you. It’s right on the main ***** Opposite the arcade and nightclub, bars underneath too. Hotel itself was what we expected, clean rooms- cleaned every day and fresh towels. We didn’t need air con so no problem there, although I’d be happy to pay €10 for it! I don’t know why people would complain about that. We had half board but didn’t really use it much, breakfast was good, the eve meal was not so good but you could survive if that was your only option. Had a couple of maintenance problems between the 3 rooms but I have to say as soon as we reported the guy was there within 10 minutes fixing the issues. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I’d defo return to this hotel again, yes it isn’t 5* luxury but we paid for 3* and we’re all very happy.

The best thing about going away from home is not having to worry about where you are staying and I was not dissapointed at all. The hotel is just as it is in the photos. Clean, plush and welcoming. We arrived late at night (20/10/23) after waiting 2 hours for our transfer then the travel from Barcelona to the hotel we were tired but welcomed by the wonderful night staff member I think his name was Thorko. He offered us something to eat and explained the hotel facilities. The pool is cold but once you get in its ok and it was fun seeing the look on peoples faces as they got in lol it was a conversation starter. The hotel is located on the beach and near the train station I actually think its the best part of the ***** 5 minutes from Aloha that does the best cocktails and night vibes. All the staff were friendly and the breakfast well I'm missing the breakfast 😀 cava with your freshly made omlette or pancakes, the fruit shots were delicious and how do they make mushrooms taste so good. Best bit was there were no kids!! I would definitely stay here again.

I had an exceptional stay at Petit Palau during five days recently. The whole staff was friendly, sincere and always welcoming, including the breakfast and cleaning personnel. There are many things to praise, but a few things deserve to be highlighted. First of all the bed, it was fantastic, super comfortable! The shower was modern and had a luxurious touch to it. The overall cleanliness of the hotel should be mentioned, it was absolutely spotless. The breakfast was varied, delicious and healthy with an assor**ent of fresh fruits and local produce in addition to all else that was included. Lastly, since Blanes was blessed with warm, sunny spring weather during my stay, I had the pleasure of enjoying it from my private 6th floor balcony with rooftop views! My wife and I had misplaced a passport at Barcelona airport but only realised it on the way to Hotel Marsol. You can imagine how we felt. We were lucky to have been booked at Marsol because the assistance and support we had at reception from Aron and Racula could not have been better. They were the right people at the right place at the right time. They were calm and sympathetic and gave us wise advice. They knew the best way to go through the steps of locating or replacing a passport, the best forms of transport to take and made all the bookings for us so that all the thinking and planning was done for us. We wouldn't have known where to start. They helped us with the little things too. Aron offered to take our washing home and do it for us when we couldn't find a laundromat. Raluca had a picnic made for us to take on the early train back to Barcelona that left before the breakfast buffet opened. These little acts of kindness made a world of difference to us. There's more to Marsol than Aron and Racula, such as the location and the restaurant and bar, but what we will never forget was the service we got when we needed it most.

Well what a lovely surprise Hotel Anabel was. I wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. It’s a lovely little hotel right in the heart of Lloret De Mar. Five minute walk to the beach. Staff are friendly, rooms are nice, the bar/seating areas indoor and out area are really lovely as is the pool and there was plenty of sunbeds so there’s no fighting over them. The hotel is spotlessly clean, even the pool toilets. If I return to Lloret, and I’m likely to as by husbands friend lives there, I will always try to stay in this hotel. The temperatures were 35 degrees plus when we were out there so the air conditioned bar was very welcome. We only had bed and breakfast as we prefer to eat out locally but the breakfast was perfectly adequate. The only thing we missed was regular cups of tea, being British and there’s no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Nicest hotel I’ve stayed in for a long time to be honest.
