Hotels near Madonna del Monte in Bologna

A very nice hotel with good amenities. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was decent. Bring a hairdryer as the hairdryer supplied is ok for short hair, but not great for long hair. There was only 2 plug sockets in the room and one in the bathroom. This makes charging modern day phones, watches and other equipment very difficult. Especially if one of the plugs is located behind a cupboard. The kettle was balanced on the air con unit which isn’t ideal. A shelf would be a good idea. There aren’t any draws to put away underwear or tee shirts so be prepared to live from your case, however there is a clothes rail. The beds are made everyday and fresh towels if required. We used the spa which was lovely, although the pool probably was a clean. We will definitely return as the location is excellent, about 8 minute walk to the station.

Located near the central station but there is a taxi to get there ... from the station it takes about 7/8 minutes .. , very clean hotels fast reception service is very available.... very beautiful and super technological rooms excellent cleaning (my own was 339) very abundant buffet breakfast and everything very good with different solution to satisfy all requirements .... with the taxi with a ten minutes you reach the center immediately .. , I strongly advise everyone ... add to complete excellent sleep quality and shower in the maxxi bathroom .... to try absolutely

We arrived around 1230 at night. The check in was smooth and they guy was super friendly. We booked a twin - however the room we got was a double and the beds couldn’t be split. The reception team moved us to a twin with no bother at all. The room was clean and very quiet. The beds were a little firm for our liking but it was a good night sleep. The hotel is a little dated - but we were expecting this. The breakfast was good. Your typical hotel breakfast. The free shuttle the next day was very good - had we arrived earlier the night before we would have been able to get the shuttle to the airport instead of a taxi which was around €16.00. So make sure you get the shuttle timetable from the hotel before you arrive. A pleasant one night stay.

Good, solid 4 star hotel. Not far from the city center, around 2km, you can get there with ease by foot or take a bus. Room was clean with a great view of San Luca sanctuary (ask foom on 5th floor, wtih courtyard view). The was on kittle we should be in 4* hotel. Breakfast was rally good with a wide range of products, however most of them were sweet bakery. Staff was helpful, we had an issue with the fridge and they sorted it out. Superior quality of room service - our room was daily cleaned, towels changed, soap and gel delivered etc. Bravo. If there could be a chance I would stay there once again.

Perfectly located between the train station and city center. The hotel has a good vibe and good breakfast, coffee made to the order, etc. it is all as shown in pictures and descriptions. The staff are welcoming and helpful. I recommend and come back again if I visit Bologna again

On our round trip through northern Italy, we stopped in Bologna from 24.7.-25.7.22. We had booked a Classic double room at UNAHotels Bologna Centro via an online platform. Likewise, we already know UNAHotels from previous stays in other cities. The hotel is located outside the old town. It's a comfortable 20-minute walk. Unfortunately, the check-in did not work smoothly. The room was not ready at 13.15. The reception could not even check us in. They could only do that when the room was ready. I have never experienced anything like this and it has never happened in any other UNA hotel. Fortunately, we were able to drop off the luggage. A garage is also an advantage in Bologna. The reservation worked without a problem here, cost 22 euros per night. The room was very good. Size, comfort and cleanliness were perfect. The bathroom is also good. Everything necessary is available. Modern furnishings. Our request for a room on the upper floors was met. Wifi is good. The breakfast has everything you could want. Despite the discrepancies at check in, we can recommend the UNAHotels Bologna Centro.

This is a personal opinion, the hotels location is great, just across the road from the Train station, several bus stops within walking distance and taxi rank just nearby. Overall it didn’t give me that 4 star hotel experience, I found the rooms and bathrooms outdated, the rooms could do with a refurb and better lighting and air system, could be a lot better. The areas I covered or seen are clean, staff are ok-ish except one of the receptionist (Giulia) she was brilliant and she took a request of mine at heart and delivered it as requested.

I had read disagreements about this hotel, but my experience was absolutely positive, starting with staff, with a wonderful gentleness and availability, all with a smile and ready to make the guest feel comfortable. They booked my taxi and kept my baggage after check-out. The simple, clean rooms with everything necessary for a pleasant stay. The position is really excellent. Finally, breakfast is sweet and salty: coffee and cappuccino (served directly by the staff), fruit juices for all tastes, yoghurt, cooked fats, marmelade, nutella, cakes, crustaceans, cornets of various kinds. As for salt, soda eggs, appetites, cheese ...many variety and abundance. It is really a great experience in this hotel, if I should go back to Bologna I will book from them again! 10 and praise.

An excellent structure, excellent value for money, excellent for those who go to the Bologna fair, more inconvenient for those who have to visit the city. Public transport stop near the hotel but with a service that is nothing short of catastrophic, with heavy and repeated delays, then it is difficult to buy a ticket on board if you don't have coins, only a few cards are accepted and, today, a card can only make one ticket . If the inspectors find you without a ticket, they don't want to listen to reason and fine you 75 euros, a shameful service for such a beautiful and rich city.
