Best Hotels in Castaway Island, Fiji

Chinese family guests, I think 2 to 4 days on the island is not right, it is worth the accommodation experience. Catering is a problem when taking the elderly, the food is too westernized, and there is no choice. If the elderly have taboos and high blood sugar, please consider carefully. There are 3 restaurants on the island, but often only one is open. The average head consumption is between 240 and 330 RMB per meal. For island expenses, make sure you have cash or multiple credit cards.

Although the hotel has a certain age, it can still be maintained. One price all-inclusive, three meals a day, staying for 4 days and 3 nights, every day is a different menu, Michelin produced, super awesome. All the staff of likuliku are very warm and friendly. There will be welcome and farewell ceremonies when you check in and leave. The room is cleaned in a timely manner. If you have fun, in addition to some self-funded items, the hotel also provides free items. Of course, diving and beaches are still not comparable to the Maldives, but as a holiday island, it is still highly recommended. By the way, the sunset is very beautiful, and the stars are very bright at night.

Transportation: From vuda Marina, the hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off. Going to other places needs to communicate with the island owner. The boss is super enthusiastic. Although the boat to cloud9 is not good, it is very exciting (500fjd a boat) Hygiene: Health is still very clean, Sapporo is around the island after snorkeling, you will bring a lot of sand to the bed. Environment: The environment is great, the beach on the front of the hotel is very garbage, but the beach on the other side of the island is very good. Focus! Focus! Focus! After the explosion of Shangri-La brand hotel (brand hotel is a lot of people, the service staff is not very enthusiastic, even ordering is not positive, water is not given). Heaven is, Musket cove. We stayed in musket cove last year and fell in love with the resort. So much so, we decided to make it our annual june holiday. Once again we were so welcomed by the most amazing, friendly and calming staff. Our Bure was a beautiful retreat, that felt quiet, peaceful and authentic. The island is our absolute favourite… the sand paths, immaculate gardens and activity/ entertainment options provided us with a dream holiday. My husband surfed almost daily, while I would go for hikes, run the island trials and explore. Found secluded beaches and lookouts that are more breathtaking than imaginable…. Ziggy and Josie always provided us with refreshment afternoon drinks (without prompting our preference) at the island bar yacht club. Ruth always hooked us up with the best tours, snorkelling trips and activities. Suli, was the biggest vibe. We loved his presence and enthusiasm. We loved our trip (again) so much, we re-booked for august and December/ January. Paradise does exist…

Overall a poor experience. Customer service. Most of the staff are nice and friendly and have the bula spirit, however our stay was tainted by some unfriendly staff at the main restaurant by the pool, which some of the staff don’t want to help providing baby chair and just forgot about the requests after all. The restaurant staff just simply looks very unhappy or tired for some reasons. We have met some very friendly face and lovely staff, but it was unfortunate the restaurant customer service is consistently horrible. Front desk staff shows don’t show the same level of hospitality as to other hotels we stay in Fiji. Room: It’s showing it’s aged but the view is fantastic and room is well equipped and spacious, it suits well for family with a plan to cook. We notified the staff that two of the pendant lights aren’t working on day one. Yet nothing is fixed until check out. Food: We try buffet breakfast and dinners at the main restaurant and also take away from the red Buddha restaurant. Breakfast is pretty standard and average considering it’s Hilton, we stay at many Hilton hotels before, the food is one of the worst experience we had, in particular the buffet dinner, choices are very limited, it’s pretty much just a corner of food , pretty subpar comparing to Sofitel or Sheraton. Overall. With similar price it is hard to recommend this hotel to family especially with kids, the staff seems to have too much trouble to handle the demand of young kids and didn’t stand up to the great Hilton branding which is a bit of a shame. Rooms got beautiful view, foods aren’t great. The only bright spot would be the spacious hotel room.

Usaia is the best employee here. His unbelievable service made my honeymoon perfect and fantastic. He recommended and taught me lots of information here in Sheraton and Fiji. Actually, we were only one Asian couple, so everything was too new for us, but bying talking with Usaia, he made us feel relaxed and better. I highly recommend Sheraton because of Usaia and his service. Thank you, Usaia. We stayed here for a few nights at the beginning of our trip before heading to a remote island. This is a great spot to stay on Denarau if you are not looking for a resort experience and the price tag that comes with it. The location was great, easily walkable to the marina where you’ll find great dinner spots and a supermarket. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch at the palms - the cafe there was lovely. When we checked out of the Palms I realised I’d left my phone at the cafe, one of the ladies kept it safe for me and I was able to have our driver go back and get it for us while we checked in for our domestic flight. High praise for the staff, who were all wonderful. Later in our trip we stayed at a villa at the Hilton. Honestly the Palms has the same type of rooms that are in much better condition than the Hilton, for a fraction of the price. Yes it’s not the same type of place, but if you just need a few nights and aren’t after a resort experience, the palms is a great choice. And if you do want a resort experience, choose anywhere but the Hilton.

This hotel is located in a place with beautiful mountains and clear waters. On the beach facing the west, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset. The service of the hotel is very good. The service staff does the cleaning very carefully. It is clean and tidy everywhere. It is very comfortable, you can swim by the sea or in the hotel pool, it is a good place for vacation.

We were lucky enough to experience the Adults Only Waitui Beach Club Package which gave us a little bit more luxury of being pampered at the Spa and entry into the more sophisticated Journal Lounge. At the lounge we had daily complimentary high tea which was delightful, Bubbly with Breakfast and delicious complimentary sunset cocktails or Gin and Tonic with a beer for Hubby! The staff in the Executive Lounge went above and beyond with their service, in particular Payal who had such grace and Professionalism, Kara with her infectious laugh and Agnes who was a delight with her quiet demeanor. Mili, Loyalty Supervisor, thank you for checking with us that our stay was meeting our expectation (which it was) and giving us an insight on how the resort was travelling since Covid. Waitui Beach Club Grill...you cook an excellent steak and your staff's recommendation of the fish curry was spot on considering I hadn't tasted one before. Thank you to your staff who always made us feel welcome, especially Vau who always remembered our names throughout our stay! A big thank you to Claire too for indulging me with some French conversation which I remembered from my school days! Finally, thank you to Solo for your professionalism and friendly nature in both checking us in and out. We ran out of paper to note down more staff but please note you are all exceptional too.
