"The hotel's location is outside the old town, so it's a bit difficult to access, but the facilities are clean and quiet, and although the breakfast doesn't have a lot of variety, it's nice because it's thoughtful.
The room is smaller than expected.
It was especially inconvenient because it was a family suite and had only one bathroom.
The shade of the tree next to the pool was so nice that I felt good every time I had breakfast.
I am satisfied for the price~~"
"It's okay, after all, it costs more than 400 yuan, breakfast is not included, the picture is clean, but it is not very quiet, because it is close to the road in the ancient city, and there are many motorcycles. If you want to be quiet, it is recommended to live in the alley of the ancient city. The service is good, you can't speak Chinese, no Pick-up service, and no smart toilet. Only bicycles, but in Chiang Mai, if you want to survive, don't ride a bicycle, you know"
"Best swimming pool and great staff. Location is good, quite at night but only few hundred meters to nighlife. Few meters to great restaurants."

"I traveled with my family. My sister chose the hotel. I didn't have to worry about anything during the whole trip. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is also very close to the airport. It only takes a few minutes to get there by taxi. The hotel is very close to the ancient city. It is just a few steps away. It is also close to the shopping mall. There are many places to eat nearby. In short, this local hotel with characteristics at this price is still highly recommended"
"Pros: Very neat and clean. It is located in the center of the ancient city. There is a pharmacy and 7-11 just a few steps away. There are also many restaurants next to it. However, because the hotel faces the rear, it is not noisy at all and it is quiet when sleeping. The staff are friendly and polite. Refreshments were also given when checking in.
Disadvantages: It would be nice if the room was a little bigger. The lighting is a bit less and a bit dark. There was also a mosquito seen on the first day, but these were acceptable.
The point I want to mention most is that one day I ate too much and felt sick to my stomach. I went to buy medicine and found that the pharmacy was closed. I called the front store and asked the front store. He said that I could take my mother to 7-11 to buy medicine (he helped translate) because I My mother didn’t speak English, Thai, or Chinese, but he helped her successfully buy the medicine. And she was very considerate and asked my mother to take photos of how to take the medicine. Thank you very much for their help🙏🏻"
"Great value for money. Rooms are smaller but perfectly functional. Everything you need without extra bells and whistles. Walking distance to night bazaar."
"Pros:
- The cost is budget-friendly.
- The room is clean and spacious enough for comfort.
- Staff are friendly.
- Location is great.
- wi-fi connection speed is good and stable.
- The guest room, adorned with decorations and plants, feels just like home.
Cons:
- No toothbrush and slippers are provided in the rooms.
- There isn’t an elevator in the hotel.
- The room is quiet but noisy in mornings."
"Located near Maya Mall and the White market night market. all just a stone throw away. Not to mention its also near Monkey Bikes. a shop where you can rent bikes and explore more of Chiang Mai.
Took us a while to find the location tho because they were renovating their front (restaurant) . the path to the hotel is a small passageway to the back.
The staff was super friendly, as what you would come to expect from warm and hospitable Thai people. always with a smile on their face. We arrived to the hotel early and dropped our bags off. when we came back. the staff had carried it to our rooms. I know this is something people come to expect from hotels but mind you this is a boutique and small hotel so it was a lovely surprise.
the room was comfortable and the bed as 5/5 for us. just envelopes you after a long day of exploring and shopping and eating. tv was big and had the usual smart tv set up. so you can sit was and enjoy the movies and series while having your off day. "
"There is a food area within a ten-minute walk of the hotel; bars, restaurants, juice stalls, barbecue restaurants and the locals’ delicious crispy pork chop rice and spicy and sour pork rib soup, although there is no 7-11. But there are stores specializing in mineral water and beer."
"The biggest advantage of this hotel is that the temperature of the swimming pool was neither too cold nor too hot, making it easy to use.
The room condition was not bad, and overall it was good, but the breakfast was the worst quality among the hotels I stayed in Chiang Mai. Other than the breakfast, it is a great hotel."

Great
LLYNNINTHEBOXI visited Chiang Mai in October 2024 but was unable to secure a room during my last trip. This time, I was fortunate to book a room for my 3 night stay.
The receptionist, Khaw n her team were incredibly friendly and helpful. She noted my request for a firm bed due to my back condition and ensured it was accommodated. Not only that, but she also fulfilled my request for four extra pillows and even upgraded my room to a Premium room. Khaw went the extra mile by assisting me with booking massage therapy, either by email or phone.
The bellboy, Pong, was exceptionally helpful as well. Since I primarily used Grab for transportation, he always made sure I was getting the best rate compared to taxis.
The room was spotless n the bed linens were crisp and fresh. They were also very generous in refilling the drinking water. While some guests mentioned in their reviews that the corridor and shower area were dark, I found the lighting to be just perfect.
Their international buffet breakfast was outstanding, offering an impressive variety of dishes. We also tried their weekend seafood buffet dinner, which was absolutely incredible! The selection of seafood, along with a wide range of local and international cuisines, was truly indulgent. To top it off, we were entertained by live music throughout our dinner, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Looking forward to coming back again n soon!!

GGuest UserExceptional, from
Entrance the staff greeted warmly and were bery attentive. My room was divine, beautifully decorated with elements of Northern thai tradition. Afternoon tea was complimentary and little morsels so tasty. Every convenience such as hats, umbrellas, loofah etc were on hand. The bed was so comfortable .
The greenery made the place lush and the sound of birds and geckos, added to
me winding down to relax this trip. It wasn’t loud nor neighbours boisterous. We did have a Buddhist celebration across the way which was vibrant added to the highlight of my stay. Thank you Cheeta and jhia, very accommodating staff members. I would highly recommend and would visit again

GGuest UserI rarely write reviews for hotels, but I must write this one. Very good hotel, warm service. The service staff will think of small details. My daughter stayed in bed in the morning, and the breakfast manager prepared a takeaway box to help us prepare breakfast for her to take back. All questions about the itinerary were answered. We encountered the largest flood in history in Chiang Mai, and all the itineraries were disrupted. The hotel was in the worst-hit area, and they considered us from beginning to end and did their best to arrange it. We took a small boat, and four hotel waiters, including a deputy manager, pushed the boat in the chest-deep water. It took an hour to reach the land. The hotel arranged other hotels to get us out of trouble. Thank you very much. A memorable hotel!
EEddy TaipeiMy six-night stay at the Bella Nara Hotel in Chiang Mai was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment I stepped into the elegantly designed lobby, I felt a sense of tranquility and warmth. The staff were incredibly welcoming, always ready with a genuine smile and helpful recommendations for exploring the city.
The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of modern comfort and Thai charm. The amenities were top-notch, and the daily housekeeping was meticulous. The hotel's location was ideal, providing easy access to Chiang Mai's vibrant night markets, temples, and delicious street food.
The breakfast buffet was a delightful start to each day, featuring a wide array of fresh and flavorful options. The serene pool area was a perfect oasis for relaxation after a day of sightseeing. I highly recommend the Bella Nara Hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable stay in Chiang Mai. The exceptional service, beautiful ambiance, and convenient location made my trip truly unforgettable. This hotel is highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious escape in the heart of Chiang Mai.
AAnonymous UserWe had a twin room for short one night stay to explore Chiang Mai University and see the vibes of local uni students, location is great and have all necessities within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staffs, conversational English skills. Easy to call grab just from outside of the hotel, but try avoiding traffic rush hour when everyone is heading to university in the morning or coming down to and from night market at the late evenings. Also suitable for families to stay here as well, they have plenty of children play stuffs at the lobby.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very nice. They have welcome drink and snack at the entrance gate. The bathroom has separate zone. Amenities has earplugs that I can't find in other place, so I'm surprised. A lot of parking. There is near 86 ramen that is very delicious.

GGuest User[De Chai gives you free drinks if you leave them a kind review during your stay so please be mindful of the reviews you see here :) ]
I found the two bathrooms very appealing along with the price per night so I decided to stay here during my trip with my parents, but there are a lot of room for improvement.
Location: 11-15 minutes away from Chiang Mai Airport so you can hear airplanes flying by in the hotel room. If you’re a light sleeper you might find discomfort staying here. There are definitely better hotels near here, personally I don’t recommend staying here. There are yummy food places near by that made up my experience here! I liked how I could walk to One Nimman & Maya to beat the heat.
Amenities: gym is pretty small, and the pool is tiny too. The pool was so warm as the water isn’t being circulated, which personally discouraged me opt out of swimming here. There were dead bugs floating around too. The pool closes from 6:30pm as there’s a small roof top bar. The gym operates from 7am to 7pm only.
Room: When I checked in, there was hair & dust on the floor. I later addressed this to the front desk the next day (we checked in the evening) & they cleaned it thankfully. The bigger issue here is a structural issue with the restroom floor. While showering, I realized that my feet were submerged in water and I was showering in a shower booth, not bath. The drainages are not working well so I had to be careful while showering because of this issue. It’s also because the water doesn’t flow to the drain fast enough and the water is just going to be all over the bathroom floor. I communicated this with the hotel staff but they just told me to shower with the drain top off but that didn’t fix the issue as I had to stop from the water overflowing by making circles on top of the drain to help the water drain out + using towels to soak the spilled out water. However, this might be a problem with just my room though. I stayed in room 502, so I hope this helps.
Service: Most staff don’t speak english fluently so it was quite difficult to communicate with them especially with my drainage problem. They’re not really welcoming but I think they are just shy because when I asked them something they looked startled and they didn’t know what to say.

GGuest UserThe hotel in general is quite recommendable.
The location is good as it is inside the wall and very close to one of the main streets where you can find bike rentals, coffee, washing machines etc.
The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean and we got water bottles every day in the mini bar.
There is a swimming pool when you get into the hotel and it's okay since it's enough to refresh you from high temperatures.
The staff is friendly and recommend things to do in your stay in the city.
The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable.
They have breakfast available in addition to the price .
We were left after check out.
LLjordanB2 Suthep was a pleasant stay for 3 days. Accessible pool, large room, and decent storage. Limited on the amenities sides of things. No restaurant or cafe open. Some tlc in some places would give this the boost it needs. Altogether, it was nice and a healthy price.
