The location is good as it is in the center of tourism, but the service and customer friendliness are not very good. Breakfast was fast food except for the omelette, the facilities were a bit outdated, and the room was not cleaned unless requested.

I'm confident this situation is temporary, but currently, there's drilling due to refurbishments happening at the hotel while guests are staying. Unfortunately, they turned off the water without proper notification (supposedly they placed a letter under our doors), yet none of our three rooms received one. The lack of water meant we couldn't use the toilets or have showers, which is unacceptable. Despite the lovely room, the bathroom door appeared to be broken and hastily painted back together, which is unusual for a Hilton property. I'm currently at another Hilton in a different city as I express my dissatisfaction. It's clear that the hotel is not up to standard during its refurbishment period.

We came to chicago to get my son's surgery. We booked a hotel so we can get rest before going back to freeport and paid extra for a city view. But man! It's terrible. My son didn't get enough rest alot of drilling noise and banging on the wall. It's awful

I love everything at the hotel ( staff, breakfast, location, clean, ect..) The only reason i dont give 5 star is cause they are under some remodelation and they start making noises of construction since 6:50am.

The heat was broken. Our hotel room stayed at 60s degrees or lower. I called the front desk multiple times and they said they would send the engineer whom never came. My young toddlers went swimming and had to go to bed shivering. They didn’t do much for a refund but give me free valet parking. That was only 75 vs my 150 or more for one night. So I only got a half refund for an extra freezing uncomfortable room.
The manager was nice an apologetic in the morning but again still didn’t get a full refund.

The remodeled rooms are wonderful. Clean and modern. Bed was very comfortable. Everything smells brand new and is clean.
The front desk service was great. Evening cocktail hour was enjoyable. The location of this hotel is awesome.
Breakfast was the only negative experience. All the food on the buffet was lukewarm to cold every morning. The coffee is absolutely awful. Pastries are dry and tasteless. The omelet station was decent. Everything else about this hotels makes the mediocre breakfast worth it.
