The ocean view is really heartfelt. To get to the city center, you have to walk and then take the cable car. Personally think the hotel is fine, but just a little old.
The main reason is that the price is not good. Sorry for the price of 2000 nights (late October, out of high season). Lower than expected.
Reasonable price 1200.

The room facilities are modern and generally superior rooms are relatively small and suitable for one person. You can see the sunrise from the balcony room.

The location is not bad, in the old town, not far from the attractions, there is a small park next to it. But the entire Taormina is on the hill, the hotel is also on the slope, and friends who drive must be careful. There are only three parking spaces at the hotel entrance, which are their own free parking spaces. They can't be reserved and can only be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis, but we stopped and drove four cars on that day. The view from the hotel is good, especially on the breakfast terrace where you can see the sea and the volcano in the distance. The style of the hotel is old-fashioned European style, the facilities in the room are old, the curtains are not pulled, and the towels are not so soft and comfortable. However, hotels in the mountains may not be too high. The waiter at the reception desk was very enthusiastic and introduced us to the volcano parking situation, which is very useful.
The room is close to the sea, and it is very beautiful to fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves.
The only thing I don’t recommend is the hotel’s dinner, it’s not delicious and expensive.
It is recommended to eat at the tiramisu restaurant in the hilltop town of Taormina

The services in all aspects are in place, and the breakfast is so rich that I didn’t even eat it all during my two-day stay. Watching the sunrise on the top floor is also great. It happened to be a sunny day. Not only did I see the perfect sun rise, I also heard the chirping of birds and the harmonious sound of the waves. I saw trains and cars passing by. Next time the weather is warmer, I must experience the rooftop view. swimming pool 🏊

The quality of the hotel is very good. The best hotel, service, facilities and even the fragrance of this trip are great, basically the five-star level. The location is very good, a few minutes to the main street, very quiet. The room is large, the breakfast is simple, but on the top floor, the sea is invincible. The only pity is that most of the hotel rooms should still have no sea view, mainly due to location problems.

GGuest UserWhen you come to a new place without much research done in advance, you need someone to give you practical and useful information. This is the hotel where staff are so friendly and professional. They gave you the best and most practical advice to visit some of the tourist attractions and restaurants. Appreciate their excellent recommendations. Hotel itself is good with great attention in small details. Free minibar, small snacks, fine quality of toilet amenities. It isn’t a big name but a big surprise to us. Love their staff. All make you feel very welcoming and homey. Stunning sea view and very convenient location. I simply park the car outside the hotel and use their valet parking service at 25 Euro a day. What else can I ask for? Would recommend it to anyone who would like to spend a relaxing holiday in Taormina.
AAlessandroExciting structure, adjacent to the main square of Taormina, in a very privileged position overlooking the wonderful sea!
Thanks to all the staff for the unforgettable experience. Just to name a few and without forgetting the others: Luca manager of the restaurant, Santino at the reception, Giuseppe on duty at the pool and the breakfast lady contributed to making our stay excellent.
Congratulations to everyone!!!

GGuest UserThe hotel is boutique and situated in a cove. The walk is tough to get around, so it’s not for people with mobility issues. The cable car was closed! The gym was closed (my husband is an international sportsman, so that was not ok for him). The food is ok for breakfast, however, they run out a lot and I had to keep asking for things. The beds on the beach are not great, neither are they comfortable. Bella island was also closed. It was May so it’s confusing how things were closed. The hotel was noisy, they had an event and were shouting and laughing whilst dragging (yes dragging) big furniture outside along my room on stones. Woke me up at 3am! Seriously. Very bizarre behaviour for a hotel. Certainly wouldn’t go back.
CCHOWDHURYGreat location. Decent rooms. But, mediocre service. They didn’t have stable internet on the second day of our stay for which I had to reschedule my work calls till the next day. When I requested for a late check out next day so that I could attend my work calls, they said I’ll have to pay 50 euros for it. They don’t have a front desk so when we got there we realised the place had lockboxes and we didn’t receive any information about that either. We had to contact them upon arrival and then they gave us the info.

MMaria1990A wonderful hotel, absolutely clean. Breakfasts are great! Everything is very tasty, there are cheeses, sausages, vegetables, hot dishes, fruits, and desserts are just unreal - panna cotta, cheesecakes, etc.
They upgraded the room from standard to superior with a sea view in honor of my birthday. Helpful and customer-oriented staff.
2 minutes to the main street of Taormina.
The only downside was that on my birthday no one could iron my dress, in the end they brought an iron to the room, but I had to complain about the lack of proper service on a weekend.
CChristina PabloWe had a last minute change with my husband and my father (52, and 83) to Taormina and so it was a challenge with very little prep time where to stay in a vertical place with my elderly father who is in good shape but challenged by long walks, inclines and extreme heat. We did it all-- close to the bus station (4 minutes), Corso Umberto (8 minutes), the Antico Teatrico and the view cannot be beat. There's souvenir shops and a mini mart within 4 minutes walk and the cable car is also only 5 minutes away. My husband and I enjoyed the pool and the views. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the next morning before leaving. No one could be more helpful or nicer in this hotel.
CONS: It's a steep driveway to climb up and down for the elderly. Watching my dad in either direction was a little dicey and with his blood thinners I did not want him to take a spill.
PROS: Everything else.
LLili ᥫᩣliThe hotel has been in existence for 119 years. The service is very good. The location of the hotel is also good. It is just at the entrance of the most prosperous area on the mountain. It is also close to the ”Internet celebrity” four seasons. It has an independent garden area and swimming pool. The price is very high. The room is clean The product quality is also very good. The only fly in the ointment is that the facilities and room types are slightly flawed, but as a century-old hotel, I am already very satisfied. Generally speaking, it is highly recommended!

KKirillHotel is very good located.
Very nice patio with lemon trees. Balconies with a sea view which is very romantic. Good breakfast.
Very close to the beach and there is a pool on a roof top.
Rooms are clean but… very poor equipped. No iron, no coffee, no tea maker. Wi-Fi is weak and works well only in lobby.
4 stars only because of location, balcony and pool on a roof.
Otherwise it’s a 3 stars hotel
AAna_spainEverything was perfect except that the balcony faces the main street where cars pass by at night and it makes a lot of noise. There are also garbage containers nearby and it makes a loud noise when they open them from 6 in the morning.
The rest was good: clean, nice views, located near the center, good breakfast.
