"The hotel has a very relaxed feel and is an ideal stopover for travellers arriving in Nairobi from JKIA before continuing their trip via Wilson air*****. I walked to Wilson from the hotel!
This was my second stay and the staff are all super nice. Specisl mention to Richard the ****nal fan on reception"

"Excellent hotel. Abit far from the city centre but it had an amazing environment surrounded by nature. The rooms were massive. The overall experience was great! The gym could been better on the other hand the pool was lovely."
"The hotel is excellent. We had a room on the 8th floor with a view of the forest and the outskirts of the city. We stayed on New Year's Eve, so we got to the festive barbecue evening (for an additional fee). Everything was delicious, the service was excellent. In the afternoon we were given a small gift for the New Year (desserts - I am attaching a photo). The room, like the hotel, is new - everything works properly.
Regarding the area - it takes 30 minutes by taxi from the airport along the toll road and 45 minutes along the free one. Security at the hotel is like at the embassy or at the airport. But the area still did not seem dangerous. The shopping center is 15 minutes by taxi - completely European.
The pool in the hotel is small and not very deep, but with panoramic windows"
"This hotel is not a real park but is better than a park. It has a large area and green grass. It can enjoy a variety of wild attractions while enjoying the enjoyment of the city. The most praiseworthy is that there is a large pool of different depths connected to each other, and a water slide that runs down the rockery. It is not boring for children to play in the afternoon. Another surprise is that there are five restaurants in the hotel, covering Chinese, Japanese, Italian and other international cuisines. The price of the hotel is breakfast-included (although Ctrip's order is marked with no breakfast), the breakfast is very rich, and after eating the western food for so many days, the chicken soup is especially delicious."
"Very good, cost-effective, is the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in in Nairobi. The only downside: the restaurant is not very tasty. I am a girl who dared not go far in the evening, almost every day in the hotel restaurant to eat spit"
"Ibis, as always, provides comfortable, clean, and safe place for sleeping in a prime location. Just pure basics. Front desk service sometimes were helpful, sometimes they give you the lazy, budget-hotel-level of service. But hey, if this was Sofitel or their (Accor) more premium brands, I'd expect more. Breakfast (if included in your booking) is good stuff."

Excellent
DDominicI booked a 2-night stay over Saturday and Sunday while waiting for my 1am flight on Monday. I had just returned from a safari and was extremely tired, hoping to get some rest. Unfortunately, starting around 4am on Sunday, there was a lot of noise coming from the room directly in front of mine. It appeared to be a group occupying multiple rooms, shouting and moving between them.
I called the lobby twice, and while the receptionist was kind and responsive in contacting the group, the noise continued, and I eventually gave up on trying to sleep.
Later that afternoon, the tap and shower in my room stopped working. I had to call again to have it fixed, and even after it was restored, there was no hot water. I had a VERY cold shower.
That said, I genuinely appreciated the food and the aesthetic of the property—the African artifacts in the hallways and the soaring ceilings made the place feel very special. It’s the kind of atmosphere I’d love to return to. However, because of the disruptions and inconvenience I experienced, I don’t think I’ll be coming back unless necessary.
SSookIt was our first time in Kenya and we wanted somewhere close to the airport to rest before starting our safari. They arranged for us to be fetched from the airport (5am) and even though we had early check in (10am) Lina had our room ready at 8am. Everyone was very helpful. Would definitely book here again. The room was clean, and the pool was great. Their breakfast buffet was just amazing. A nice mix of vegan and vegetarian options.
GGuest UserThere is a big supermarket nearby. I am alone and I don't dare to go out alone. There is a security guard at the front desk. I dare to go out independently. The front desk service is good, but the breakfast is $23, which is not cost-effective.
EErik LacorteWe booked a five day stay at Sarova Stanley and honestly it was the best decision. From the moment we arrive, we are greeted warmly by the staff and took care right away of our baggages. Upon entry they took care of us with warm towels and refreshments which was absolutely lovely. We arrived early at the hotel at 11am inspite of the check in time of 2pm they immediately processed everything as they gave us consideration because we are travelling with an infant, we are so lucky and did I mention we were given an upgrade! We were always looking forward to breakfast as the food is chef's kis. Location is amazing Pool is always cleaned and not crowded at all. The staffs are very attentive to your needs. Stanley Sarova is indeed a stort to tell and I highly recommend staying especially with family.
I highly recommend to stay on this hotel.

MMiaaaaaaaXHere are some details for your information:
Reason why you should not stay unless they could change:
1.picking up us from NBO termination to the hotel like 20mins for 5k and even no water provided when picked us, while i happened stayed in a much more expensive hotel in Mobasa only charged 3.5k with iced water and 1 hour trip.
2.the room has some smell from its new facility, very distinguish as i step in, the towel on top shelf of the shower room always has the same smell, very uncomfortable
3.what im most mad at, was someone took away our one set of brush, slipper, and the welcome chocolates. just because we dont need them for one night,i found it on the second day leaved a note with tip, someone only took the tip away but dont give me what i asked for.
4. One of The elevator has been broken since the second day and sometimes two of them, luckily I am only given room on the 3rd floor
Good thing is: the coffee is kinda okay and the table in the room is kinda remarkable
GGuest UserThis hotel is absolutly amazing. I felt like home away from home. It was my second time at Glee and I will be back very soon! The number one stay in Nairobi.
GGuest UserOverall this hotel was good. The breakfast food spread was amazing and the A-la-cart items you could order at dinner were very fancy and delicious.
The staff was friendly and kind (but they often seemed overwhelmed with work). There was a huge walking path in the back of the lot. The grounds were beautiful. The hotel was clean. The gym was small; it included a rack of dumbbells, two or three treadmills, an elliptical machine, and one yoga mat. The water jug in the gym was empty.
We wouldn’t stay here again because there are really nice hotels nearby for 1/3 of the cost. Maybe the food variety wouldn’t be as good as Eka, or less beautiful grounds, but Eka was not worth the extra cost. We stayed two nights and the entire time couldn’t see where the $125 a night value was coming from.
Sadly, the other Nairobi hotel ratings on Trip are lower, like 3.5. An example hotel is Maison Royale. But if you’re looking for a good hotel just a bit less fancy, go somewhere else.
TTulsianiMy stay at Sheraton Nairobi Hurlingham was great. Distance to the airport was a big factor in choosing this location. Both restaurants in this hotel were amazing. I personally recommend the Chicken Swahili dish at Pablos.
A special mention to a staff from the hotel, Wilson. He was extremely kind and professional and made our stay a memorable one.
WWensenteBVery good as a transition hotel, the staff is very polite and friendly, the food in the restaurant can also be very affordable, I am the plane waiter in the early morning and also knock on the door outside for fear that I will miss the plane, very good I would like to rate a 5 star❤️
GGuest UserMy stay was amazing, great hotel the hotel safe were very helpful great staff, breakfast was delicious choice of meal and fruits all fresh , the in house amenities was fantastic, and the location was really nice for me . Rest assured I will be visiting again.
Thanks you La Maison Royal.
My overall experience was above expectations due to the bad reviews. Am happy I made my own decision.
I was not disappointed
