"The sound insulation here is really poor. There is also band on the opposite night. Parking is also difficult to find. Although it is generally good, but in terms of sound insulation and parking, I will not consider visiting this house again."
"Would say is a great budget hotel. Perfect location to all the tourist attractions. Famous Cowen St chicken rice less than 5 mins walk. The others onn kee chicken rice etc area about 10mins.. same like those concubine lane tourist attractions. Overall room is good. Just the nite, opposite hotel is nite spot area .is abit noisy as our room is facing main road. Great price .."
"It is located at the centre of Ipoh town, we can reach most of the attractions in a very short time
The room is small but equipped with all necessities like towels, hair dryer, mineral water, coffee and shampoo.
Moreover, they have free parking lots which make us very convenient
Will stay agin if I revisit ipoh"
"Good location nearby milk tea shops Milk tea will be bankrupt if it is controlled here The service is good The rooms are clean! The only thing is that you are not lucky When you encounter an elevator that is broken You have to climb the stairs The room is on the fourth floor ... It is still very good!"
"for business travel ok lar kot... big room, satisfied... but in the middle of the night there is a little strange noise in the room...😵💫
Walk in price is cheaper then trip.com.. walk in price is only rm100 for a king bed, but we booked on trip.com for rm 148😖😖😖😖 feel sorry"
"It is a very lovely guest house with great atmosphere. Especially, I have to thank a staff who was on duty on 18th night shift sincerely. My grandmother was uncomfortable on that night, we were looking for pills to stop her stomach ache from the reception at around 3am in the midnight, the staff was very kind, he drove my sister to the nearest convenience store to get the pills and finally my grandmother felt better after that."

Great
AAbiiiiiI recently stayed at WEIL Hotel for 3 days and 2 nights, and overall, it has been one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The staff were friendly and efficient, making check-in and service smooth and pleasant. The room was clean and well-maintained, with high-quality toiletries—especially the shampoo and the nicely scented body lotion, which was a lovely touch.
The breakfast buffet was decent with a fair selection, and the overall environment of the hotel felt relaxing and chill—perfect for a short getaway.
One downside, however, is the parking situation. Since the hotel shares a parking area with Ipoh Parade Mall, it can get quite congested, especially during peak hours. It’s a bit inconvenient to have to queue with mall visitors just to park at the hotel. Also, a few of the parking machines seem to need servicing or an upgrade.
Despite the parking issue, I would definitely recommend WEIL Hotel for anyone visiting Ipoh—it’s comfortable, stylish, and offers good value for the quality you get.
DD.DeeThere is no lift from the carpark to the lobby but it's just one level up.
Hotel cleanliness is acceptable but good to improve. Overall it is a good stay.
BBleuJThe hotel is newly launched and so the room and the environment is clean and nice. The room we stayed in is a twin bedroom it has all the necessary amenities including a mini fridge, mini safe and a hair dry blower. The room despite its very small size amazingly fits in a sofa bed as well.
Some of the facilities including the games room are not functioning yet, but it has a pool and a 24 hour gym.
The hotel is located very near to the many famous restaurants and hawker stalls such as Ipoh Tong Shui Kai and Dim Sum shops and a 5min walk to a shopping complex, hence makes it very convenient to find good food and shopping.
Overall it is a good stay and I would recommend it to others for a short staycation in Ipoh.
Psst, the welcome lounge has a free coffee machine 24/7 for the guests, which it's totally awesome!
AAnonymous UserParking can be difficult at night but they prioritise the parking for hotel guests compared to event guests. The bathroom has transparent glass windows so that may not be suitable unless you're staying alone. I love that the hotel provides extra 1.5L drinking water other than the 2 small bottles.
GGuest UserOnly one things I will give 5 star of this hotel is the hotel staff , i can’t remember the name but he was work at night shift . Super friendly helpful, we have few requests like change room ( the first room we check in is very hot , the aircond have problems with the gas or too old already I not sure ) so this staff ( male ) work at night shift . He is super very helpful and friendly, very fast to help us setter the problem. Keep apologizing to us even after change the room . If next time I stay back to this hotel , I think mostly is because this male staff ☺️😎☺️😊
KKamal ShaedinOld hotel but the cleanliness was good.
Room was quite good for the price that I paid.
Only downside was the parking at the basement without lift. It's a bit troublesome for an old man or disable person to use staircase to the lobby.
Air condition was superb. Bath towel was a good quality but without hand and face towel.
1 unit of hotel lift under constructions and the drilling noise start at 10.00am.
KKHOR MUI KIMThe hotel system did not record that I had paid for breakfast for two people during my two days stay when I do the room booking included breakfast on trip.com website. This caused trouble on the morning when I tried to enter the hotel dining hall. The stewardess stopped me and did not allow me to enter, asking me to wait while she checked with the front desk staff even though I showed her my trip.com booking receipt. The same situation happened again on the following morning when I went for breakfast
GGuest Userthis is the second time i’m staying at this place. the first time was booked via agoda. the room is spacious and nice but floor is dusty. but that isn’t a big deal for me. what has really ruined my mood for the stay was the front desk guy. he is an indian man. he called me 3 times on the morning of my stay but i didn’t pick up because i was driving from KL. when i reach there around 2.30 pm after i had my lunch, i gave a call to the number in the front desk (which was his number who called me earlier) to ask if can check-in now or need to wait until 3pm. he said 3pm and i was okay since it’s just a few more minutes until 3pm anyway. no one was in the premise at that time which is why i call the number written on the whiteboard. during my check-in, he is complaining about why i didn’t pickup the call so he didn’t know what time i’m coming to check in. so unprofessional of him to say that the first thing to a guest. trying to blame me? well first, you’re calling in the morning of my trip and you can’t expect me to pickup the phone when i’m driving? you could have just leave a message on whatsapp if i didn’t pickup the call. everybody is using whatsapp nowadays so what’s so hard to reach me?
second, he asks for RM50 deposit but my mother didn’t hear at first so she asked what the RM50 is for and he said to buy KFC? repeatedly saying to buy KFC. is that suppose to be a joke? we all know he’s just trying to be sarcastic to my mother because that isn’t funny at all to us.
during my first time stay at this place on Dec 2023, Mr Poon whatsapp me A DAY before my trip to confirm my booking and my arrival time. it was pleasant and easy with Mr Poon which is why i choose this place again for my second trip but turns out, the front desk is a different person this time and he really ruined my mood during my stay there because of his unprofessional attitude.
