tasty dayz was awesome! i felt safe as a solo women in the dorms and made a bunch of friends in the adorable practical kitchen. Jamie was the absolute best- and even gave me a tour of a beautiful cliff overlooking cocles. would stay again!! love!

Great location just in front Cocles beach but with a forest vibe. There were 2 sloths at the property when I arrived. The mix dorms are only 4 bed, nice and clean. The kitchen is big and comfortable (fridge could be a bit bigger). The people at the reception are very helpful anytime!

Great place to stay! Friendly people, big kitchen, hot showers!!! ❤️ Plenty of animals running around the garden including sloths (ok, they are the ones who definetely are not running here😂). You can borrow a snorkeling gear for free, and plenty of board games! And beach outside is amazing!❤️

SPACE IS QUIET AND CONFORTABLE. VERY CLOSE TO BEACHES AND PLACES. Also you will find a lots of things to do like: riding, surfing, trekking, walking, good restaurantes, clean beaches, bikes for renting and more.

Such a nice place. Very friendly people. A lot of wild life. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We had an early check in, the guy showed us a lot of animals, was sooooo damn nice. A good shared kitchen and bikes to rent, we would definitely go back! 10/10!!

I stayed here for two nights and it was great. The facility is surrounded by greenery 😊 Jaime showed me the sloths in the hostel area ❤️ all peoples are friendly and helpful and the entire hostel area is clean. you have everything you need here. My room was good and you can refill the water bottle for free. You can find out everything about tours and buses at reception. I would come again 😊

This hostel is perfect.It is really clean.This place is perfectly located as it is right in front of Cocles beach accros de road and far enough from Puerto Viejo’s downtown (approx 2km) to be quiet from the nightlife. TukTuk are very easy to catch if you want to go downtown and it cost 2000CR. Staff is amazing and Tasty Wave Cantina is ridiculously good. Hostel is kind of hiding in the jungle and it feels amazing. I recommend it 100% to everybody.

One of the cheapest places we found to stay in Puerto with a ton of great ammenities. We stayed in one of the air con rooms which were incredibly well priced for a room with AC and very comfortable. It is right across from the amazing Cocles beach which is great for surfing or chilling. There is also the added bonus of them having their own bar next door which served great food and drinks (also was probably the cheapest place we ate our entire stay), they also have some fun nights like trivia and karaoke which is great to meet people or just have a fun night. Also the staff were lovely!
