Hotels near Magnificent Mile in Cook County

The interior of the ”Living” room is slightly cramped, but this price is impeccable living next to the gorgeous one-mile business district. The restaurant on the first floor of Food is too convenient. Free hot coffee, hot water, ice water and tea bags are available 24 hours a day. During breakfast, there are small paper bags on the dining room wall for guests to pack. You can also serve food on a plate and take it to the upstairs room to enjoy. The location of ”Xing” is excellent. Grand subway station red line comes out, and one turn at N Wabash ave. The small gym on the 2nd floor of the ”Le” Hotel is small and beautiful, OK! There are many department stores and restaurants near the hotel. Two streets next door are the gorgeous one-mile business district. N Michigan ave

This is a catfish hotel! There are absolutely no amenities! No pool, no bar, no microwave. There was a refrigerator. TV cable does not work. WI-FI does not work! It kept saying their internet was not on a secure internet and that the license expired. The layout of this hotel is weird. They have more seating for their employees than they do for their guests in the small lobby! Very tacky! There is a total of four lounge chairs to sit very closely in front of staff. The worst lounge seating I’ve ever seen in a hotel. I was also nervous about staying here because of all the commentary on the previous incidents. I should have read thoroughly the reviews. There is security here however. The staff is pleasant but I don’t think they do anything other be pleasant. There is nothing that has become useful for me. I’ve read reviews about the not comping rooms due to a change in the room. This place sucks! I will NEVER stay here AGAIN! The only plus was that it was quiet on my floor but that could’ve been because this place is practically empty. Also it’s very close to the shops on the magnificent mile and other places that are popular. Still not worth staying in. This hotel has motel standards. That’s what I feel like I stayed in. I don’t understand why the rating is so high unless the staff is coming in here writing fake reviews. Please make sure you read reviews before booking the hotel or any hotel. Lesson learned for me.

Great location, nice hotel! The room was beautiful, although I would prefer a bathroom door with more privacy :). The lack of properly closing doors is a design trend that makes no sense. They remodeled the lobby and cocktails are good! It was a good experience in general

Convenient location, just one intersection from the subway station. There are also many food and beverage shops nearby. The room was clean. The free breakfast provided is an authentic American breakfast. There is not much variety, but it is enough to maintain energy and fullness.

It was a very relaxed day and night. The service was very nice everybody was so welcoming. The breakfast was not that good for the price I made with the night of the hotel. Coffee was watery

The hotel is in a great location! Close to main attractions and lots of restaurants! Main staff was not very friendly. Hotel is beautiful when you enter. Rooms are very old and need updating. The toilet in my bathroom had a corroded tank and a broken lever. That was a bit frustrating. Bed was very hard!! Room was very cold! Only one thermostat for the entire hotel. There is no individual thermostat in each room. Had to ask for extra blankets. They did provide that for me. The fitness room is very nice! Every thing you need to have a really good workout! They indicated they are in the process of renovating rooms. They’ve just not completed that project yet. I would stay there again if the price was right. Hopefully next time I’ll get an updated room!

At the beginning, there was a problem with collecting money. Ctrip charged the room rate. The hotel charged it again. After communicating with Ctrip, it was resolved in a few days. The hotel returned the room rate. Ctrip actively helped solve the problem. The only bad thing was the hotel reservation. The taxi is not metered, it feels a bit pitted. Use Uber. Don't let the hotel book a car.

Comfortable hotel, was a nice stay but overall I wish I would have spent an extra $50-75 a night to stay somewhere nicer. Upon entering there are 2 front desks, one with a sign for VOCO and one with a sign for Holiday Inn, when I arrived I stood at the VOCO side and eventually the employee from the holiday inn side asked if I needed anything to which I replied that I was checking in and she rolled her eyes and responded “okay……then come over here” not sure how I was supposed to know it was one hotel and I could check in at holiday inn? Still not 100% sure if this is a holiday inn rebranded or why the front desk attendant felt the need to be rude. Pros: - great water pressure - good lighting in the bathroom - quick delivery/service of towels - large room, updated furniture - water stations are super convenient, can fill the provided glass jugs and keep them in your fridge - safe area right on the Riverwalk - great view from room Cons: - I went down to the market to get plastic silverware for takeout and had to pay $1.12 for a plastic fork…..couldn’t be charged to the room, just a bad experience having to go back up to my room and get my credit card to buy a fork after traveling for 8 hours and wanting to relax and eat dinner, for $900 for a 3 night stay I think a plastic fork could be complimentary - The heat/AC completely shut off my last night, the thermostat died/none of the buttons or fan would work, I can’t speak to how they would have handled it because I didn’t try, it was 10pm and I was just tired and didn’t want to deal with someone coming to the room - overall the staff just seems disinterested in your presence or experience, even when checking out I let them know about the thermostat so they could get it fixed for the next room and they just replied “okay” - could have been a little cleaner, see picture of fan where metal covering is coming off and corner was sharp

The hotel is located in the city centre, walking distance to most attractions 👍🏻👍🏻 Staffs are nice and helpful. Overall it’s very good for the value, recommended!

One of the highlights of our trip - also caught the taxi boat which at $16 a head was a bargain. If you have time, a trip to the zoo (free) is a must Red bus tour at $50 each a rip off $5 daily ticket for their overground local loop trains was a bargain Expect to pay $12-15 for a glass of wine
