Services: We were very impressed by the services rendered by the 管家 by the name of 小杜, and his team of colleagues! He ensured that our every need was met and exceeded! During our check-in day, there was a power outage for some parts of the Shuanglang old town, including this property. He kept apologizing sincerely even though it was no fault of his and he did everything within his abilities to ensure we are comfortable. Thank you, 小杜 and your team! Location: A short 2 minutes walk through the old town from the vehicle drop off point, do a right turn into an alley and you will find the amazing property sitting just on the bank of ErHai lake, with a superb view of the sunset, be it from the garden, lobby, breakfast area or the roof top. Just before the entrance to the alley, at the main street of the old town, you could get food even at 1030pm! Certainly a 5 stars for the location! Rooms: Quality bath robes and slippers to keep you warm, comfortable bed to snuggle in, free minibar and snacks replaced daily, what more could we ask for? Breakfast & Night snacks: Breakfast was delightful and also a tasty night snack to warm your tummy before sleep! All were great! Overall: For the two nights of stay, we absolutely enjoyed ourselves! Not just for the services and the clean rooms, also for the picturesque location where the architect has put in much effort to maximize the visual impact of the scenic Erhai view for all visitors! We had sooooooooo many nice photos taken at the amazing property! Strongly recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay in Erhai!

Avoid the popular hotels. This is the best choice in Dali. It is very close to Dali Ancient Town. It takes only 7 or 8 minutes by taxi or car. The environment is Chinese with Japanese style. It is very clean, the room is large, and the bedding is very comfortable. I took my baby with me, and they also prepared a crib and a bed fence, as well as baby toiletries. It is very considerate. It is not a bad deal at all. Brand hotels are much better managed than those popular hotels in Dali. The service is also very good. What needs to be improved is the breakfast. There are not many choices for breakfast. I want to give my baby a boiled egg, but there is no tea egg. Everything else is very good. The staff is also very enthusiastic. I will go there next time.

Room is pretty big. However, location is upslope and thus quite tough to walk up but it’s fine as can always take didi up to the hotel. Basic and nice breakfast. Infrastructure is quite basic. Hotel happen to do some minor renovation work when we were there. But was fine as we are out mostly. Has heating pad that helps with the cold. Good view from hotel. Best part is that they do offer to and fro free transport to the railway station. Just need to inform them earlier! This hotel is also located next to a very nice restaurant just next door, up a hill. Food is great there, do go for it if you stay here!

The short day I spent in Xianyun was the most healing travel time I have had in recent years. Every detail was the appearance of an ideal life, so much so that I felt reluctant to leave when I checked out. The moment I walked into the courtyard, the store manager was watering the flowers in the courtyard, and the boss and his wife were drinking tea. When they looked up, they showed a smile warmer than the sun: ”Are you here? Give me your luggage, and have a cup of tea first.” This became my first impression of this place. The chef's craftsmanship is also amazing. The breakfast is delicious, rich and nutritious. The fish soup made from Erhai fish is still fresh and fragrant, and even the simplest stir-fried water lily has the sweetness of Erhai. The room design is thoughtful everywhere. Not to mention cleanliness and hygiene, the 270-degree viewing balcony faces Erhai Lake. When you wake up in the morning, you can see the sun breaking Erhai Lake into thousands of silver scales, and the clouds and mist flow outside the glass fence, as if you are sleeping between clouds and water. But the most nostalgic thing is the courtyard landscape. In the afternoon, you can curl up in a hammock and be shaken by the wind like a lazy cat. The yard and the rooftop terrace are full of flowers and succulents. You can sit on a stool and watch for a whole day, watching the cotton candy-like clouds kissing the Erhai Lake. The blue of the Erhai Lake is so strong that it cannot be blurred on the palette, more transparent than gems, and watching the Cangshan Mountain in the distance gradually disappear into the twilight. This scenery is so beautiful that people can't bear to blink. When we left the hotel, the boss and the boss lady stuffed milk into our bags because we drank two more cups of milk when we had breakfast. They remembered it in their hearts, ”Remember to come and see the seagulls in winter.” The wheels rolled over the cobblestone road, and they were still waving in the rearview mirror. The most touching thing about this homestay may not be the visible scenery, but this group of people who live their lives like poetry, allowing every passerby to briefly touch the ideal temperature.

The room is clean and tidy, facing Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, and close to Dali Ancient Town. It is quiet but not noisy. The hotel service is great. It was raining and cold when I first checked in, so I took the initiative to add a heater to the room. Xiao Ma at the front desk was warm and thoughtful, and took the initiative to provide guidance and help. Because I was in a hurry to leave early in the morning, he also helped pack breakfast. In addition, the hotel is located to watch the sunrise, and the view is wide and good!

I had the pleasure of staying at Yanchuanshu Hotel during my recent trip to Dali, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The location of Yanchuanshu is perfect—quiet enough for a peaceful retreat, yet close enough to the city's attractions and the famous Erhai Lake to make sightseeing easy and convenient. Whether you're visiting Dali for relaxation or exploration, this hotel is a fantastic base to experience the beauty and culture of the region. Overall, my stay at Yanchuanshu Hotel was exceptional, and I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit to Dali. Highly recommended!

The hotel has a good location, good breakfast, and very good service attitude. They actively changed my room and sent me fruit every day. It was very enthusiastic! It would be better if they didn't spray air freshener in the future.

The place is stunning and the people were extremely kind. Our room was so nice we spent most of our holiday inside. Every night we also received a different snack (milk and cream puffs, milk and oats, etc.) beyond the snacks (fruit and some candy) you receive every day. We also picked the breakfast option, it was very Chinese (noodles or a sandwich with fruit and other small things), but extremely delicious ( especially the noodles). Their coffee was always great and they allow for you to have the breakfast in your room if you make a request. Whenever we had a problem they would help us out and they also picked us up from the train station and dropped us off. I have a lot more to say about the place, but I lack the words. Experience it for yourself.

I happened to have a room on my birthday and was given a free upgrade! I love it! The Starry Sea room is very large, with a perfect view outside the window and a small table in the corner. It is very photogenic and recommended to girls who love taking photos! The room facilities are very complete, with a large-screen projector and Marshall speakers. The housekeeper can also help you order supper and contact the driver for a round-the-sea tour. She is very versatile! Breakfast can be delivered to the room at a time of your choice, with both Chinese and Western options. The hotel is in a very good location, and you can reach various check-in spots in Wenbi Village in just a few minutes of climbing. I will stay at Mingyue Bay next time I come to Dali❤️
