Guest UserTired of crowded tourist spots, I specifically sought out this 'wild luxury' guesthouse nestled in the mountains. The environment is quiet and serene, with lush greenery outside the window and expansive, comfortable views. It's within walking distance of Zhonghe Village, which has all the essential amenities, and there's a free parking area if you're driving, making transportation very convenient. The room is spacious, well-equipped with entertainment and smart devices, and spotlessly clean with no overlooked details. The host's service is gentle and attentive, and you can even enjoy yoga to soothe travel fatigue. With all these excellent facilities, the living atmosphere is truly fantastic.

I specifically chose Xunshan B&B for this trip and was absolutely not disappointed. The overall experience was perfect. It's the most comfortable and therapeutic guesthouse I've ever stayed at in this area.
The location of the B&B is fantastic, built into the mountainside. The environment is serene and quiet, far from the hustle and bustle of the street. As soon as you step outside, you're greeted with lush green mountains and forests. The air is fresh, and in the mornings and evenings, a gentle breeze rustles through the mountains. The sounds of birds and the fragrant flowers create an incredible atmosphere. The overall decor is a warm, natural wood, therapeutic style – simple yet tasteful. The common areas are thoughtfully arranged; the courtyard is neat and elegant, with lounge chairs and green landscaping. Sitting there, sipping tea, enjoying the breeze, daydreaming, and soaking up the sun is incredibly relaxing, perfect for a slow-paced vacation.
The room itself was clean and tidy, with impeccable hygiene. Every corner, under the bed, and the bathroom were spotless. The layout is well-designed, spacious, and airy, with excellent natural light and ventilation. The soft furnishings are especially cozy – warm lighting, soft bedding, and high-quality textiles make for a very comfortable stay. The soundproofing is also good, so it's quiet and peaceful at night, allowing for a very restful sleep. All essential amenities are provided; the toiletries are of good quality, there's ample hot water, and stable water pressure. Attention to detail is evident everywhere.
The owner and staff are incredibly kind, enthusiastic, and attentive. The service is thoughtful without being intrusive; they are gentle and friendly. Any requests are promptly addressed, and they even offer helpful recommendations for local attractions and eateries without being pushy, making for a very comfortable interaction.
Waking up to the mountain breeze and birdsong in the morning, with layers of mountain views outside the window, and enjoying the sunset glow in the evening – it's a perfect escape from the anxiety and superficiality of city life. Here, there's no need to rush your itinerary; just slow down and embrace the slow-paced mountain life. The environment, hygiene, service, and value for money are all top-notch – it's gentle and therapeutic. Whether you're traveling solo, on a romantic getaway, or just need a short break, it's absolutely perfect. I've already quietly saved it and will definitely choose to stay here again next time. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

Guest UserThis was my first time staying at a B&B, and it exceeded my expectations. I initially considered chain hotels, but couldn't decide based on the reviews. After thoroughly researching Dali hotels three times and making phone calls, I finally settled on staying here for four nights. It definitely lived up to the hype! The food was fresh and delicious, the environment was quiet, and all my personalized requests were met with excellent service. Thank you! My only minor regret is that some of the higher-floor rooms in the front of the B&B had a partial obstruction in a small corner of the balcony, but it didn't significantly impact the overall experience. The front-facing view of Erhai Lake was expansive and made for a great mood every day. Plus, roadside views without obstructions would have been noisy. I've already recommended it to friends!

Pros: Great location, new rooms, good privacy, and enthusiastic staff.
Areas for improvement:
1. The hotel needs to clarify its positioning. If it's a high-end family-friendly hotel, then the kids' programs need to be well-developed to keep children engaged. If it's positioned as a high-end resort for adults, then there should be clear restrictions on young children to ensure public areas, including restaurants, remain quiet and orderly. For a hotel at this price point, the environment should meet guests' expectations.
2. Improve accessibility for self-driving guests. All three roads leading in and out of the hotel are single-lane, making it incredibly difficult to pass oncoming vehicles. My car was scratched on the way out.
3. Service details need improvement. One day, we returned to our room at 1 PM to find it hadn't been cleaned. On another day, around 3 PM, we found standing water on the bathroom floor – I'm not sure how the cleaning staff managed that. We had three people staying, but only ever received two bath towels. The restaurant staff lacked experience and weren't attentive enough. When settling the bill, they never asked if I had any discount vouchers (which resulted in me paying full price for 4 out of 5 meals, charged to the room, and non-modifiable).

Guest UserChoosing this hotel in Dali Shuanglang was absolutely the right decision! The location is superb, right by Erhai Lake. Opening the window reveals a panoramic view of the entire lake and Cangshan Mountain, and watching the sunset in the evening is incredibly therapeutic. The surroundings are also very quiet, and I even witnessed a breathtaking sunset! Absolutely stunning! The lake view is fantastic, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room facilities are comprehensive, with simple and comfortable decor. The balcony view is amazing, and the bed was very comfortable for a restful sleep. The owner and staff are all incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. What I was most satisfied with was the cleanliness; the room was spotless, with no strange odors, and even the corners were thoroughly cleaned. I felt completely at ease staying here. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Shuanglang.

I loved this hotel! My husband and I came here for a vacation and immediately felt relaxed. The location at the foot of Cangshan Mountain is so comfortable and full of greenery, with flowers and plants everywhere – truly therapeutic! The butler service was also very attentive, fulfilling every request promptly.
The only minor drawback was the breakfast. While the variety was decent, the taste was pretty average. I'd also suggest to the hotel that they improve the ventilation in the breakfast room. The mix of food smells, combined with poor ventilation, made the experience a bit less enjoyable.
Aside from that, everything else was fantastic, and it would definitely be my first choice if I visit Dali again!

Guest UserEverything in the room was great, but it's a bit of a shame that W Hilton hasn't upgraded to smart toilets yet, while most places have them now. It would be a nice improvement if they could install them in the future. The kids' playground and pool were excellent; my little one had a blast! Room service was spot on, and the butler was very thoughtful. The breakfast delivered to the room was good, though the croissants were a bit too oily. Otherwise, I was satisfied. My elderly mother really enjoyed the evening bonfire dance. The view from the hotel window was also fantastic.

This is my second time staying in this hotel. When I was leaving, I chatted with the owner and she told me that I also stayed there on the same day last year. What a wonderful coincidence!
I stayed here last year and it was very good. I mainly liked the health programs and organic breakfast here. It is very close to the Caspian Sea. I was too lazy to make a guide this time so I stayed here again. The bed was very comfortable, the quilt was soft, the bathroom was clean and spacious, but the faucet was a little difficult to adjust, and the water rushed too fast and it was a bit painful. Everything else is good, the child said he would stay here again next time.
40-minute back healing SPA: The free program was very comfortable, there was no sales pitch, and the service was done very seriously.

Guest UserThe hotel's style is really unique and authentically local, which was a big plus for us foreigners visiting Dali. We absolutely loved it. The room was super comfortable, especially the extra-large and luxurious bathroom with its big bathtub. Overall, our stay here was incredibly pleasant; even during the Spring Festival, it never felt crowded. What's more, the location is fantastic – right next to the ancient city wall, which means you avoid the hustle and bustle inside the old town. The vibe was just right. It's also the closest place to park near the ancient city entrance, making transportation very convenient. Oh, and I really enjoyed the coffee at breakfast; I even went to check the brand of beans and ended up buying the same kind when I got home! 😻
