"I stayed here for over a week while vacationing in the ancient city, and the service was excellent, and the environment was also very good. They even gave me a free room upgrade. The owner and staff were all very friendly and always enthusiastically helped with anything I needed. Although the location is a little bit away from the center of the ancient city, it's incredibly quiet at night, unlike being right next to a busy street where it can be noisy. The courtyard is beautiful. Most importantly, to find a guesthouse of this overall quality in the ancient city for just over 200 RMB a night during the off-season, the value for money is truly exceptional. The upstairs courtyard is also lovely. If I come back to Dali for another vacation, I would definitely consider staying here again."

"The hotel is right at Dali Port, and the lake view rooms directly face Erhai Lake with lovely scenery. It's very quiet and pleasant to watch the tour boats enter and leave the port from the room. The room is spacious and the facilities are new. What I was most satisfied with was the breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of local specialties like 'Xiaoguo Mixian' (small pot rice noodles), 'Xi Dou Fen' (creamy pea soup), and 'Erkuai' (rice cakes). I was thoroughly satisfied with the food."

"This has been the best B&B experience I've had in Yunnan so far! The room looks exactly like the pictures. The B&B is near Caicun village, and we stayed on the 3rd floor, which offered fantastic views. In front, we had the beautiful S-bend of Erhai Lake, and behind, large wisteria bushes and Cangshan Mountain. There's also an observation deck upstairs for even more unobstructed views. The room is spacious, with high-tech amenities and large floor-to-ceiling windows, so you can enjoy the scenery just by opening the curtains. I was pleasantly surprised that the water heater provided instant hot water. The courtyard is very clean, and the host even helped us with our luggage. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. (If you're driving, I'd recommend parking outside the village, as the roads inside are very narrow, making it difficult to pass oncoming cars and easy to scrape your vehicle.)"

"The navigation was accurate; turn right into a small alley just past the uphill section on the right-hand side of the street. I booked a sea-view room with a window at the Ctrip member rate. Traveling during the off-season, the price was excellent. The front desk staff member was proactive and helped me carry my luggage upstairs. Upon entering, there were three beautiful, somewhat bored but adorable cats in cages. I was lucky enough to meet the owner, who, though we only exchanged a few words, radiated elegance, warmth, and generosity. Both the interior design and the outdoor garden of the hotel offered a striking contrast, vibrant colors, a strong exotic vibe, and lush greenery. The bedding in the room was comfortable, and the bathroom featured a smart Toto toilet. It's essential to book a sea-view room; the mountains are visible as soon as you open the door, and the view is stunning from the window. It should be even more comfortable in winter, with lazy, warm sunshine greeting you early in the morning. It's not far from Dali Old Town, about 900 meters away, a little over a ten-minute walk. However, be prepared for an uphill climb on the way back, which helps with digestion and provides good exercise. The breakfast is a set meal, just the right quantity and well-balanced. The butler's exclusive service was especially heartwarming and thoughtful. Due to my medication, they specifically arranged for me to be served breakfast first. Such attention to detail truly shows their quality. If you get the chance, this place is definitely worth a visit."

I specifically chose Xunshan B&B for this trip and was absolutely not disappointed. The overall experience was perfect. It's the most comfortable and therapeutic guesthouse I've ever stayed at in this area. The location of the B&B is fantastic, built into the mountainside. The environment is serene and quiet, far from the hustle and bustle of the street. As soon as you step outside, you're greeted with lush green mountains and forests. The air is fresh, and in the mornings and evenings, a gentle breeze rustles through the mountains. The sounds of birds and the fragrant flowers create an incredible atmosphere. The overall decor is a warm, natural wood, therapeutic style – simple yet tasteful. The common areas are thoughtfully arranged; the courtyard is neat and elegant, with lounge chairs and green landscaping. Sitting there, sipping tea, enjoying the breeze, daydreaming, and soaking up the sun is incredibly relaxing, perfect for a slow-paced vacation. The room itself was clean and tidy, with impeccable hygiene. Every corner, under the bed, and the bathroom were spotless. The layout is well-designed, spacious, and airy, with excellent natural light and ventilation. The soft furnishings are especially cozy – warm lighting, soft bedding, and high-quality textiles make for a very comfortable stay. The soundproofing is also good, so it's quiet and peaceful at night, allowing for a very restful sleep. Here, there's no need to rush your itinerary; just slow down and embrace the slow-paced mountain life. The environment, hygiene, service, and value for money are all top-notch – it's gentle and therapeutic. Whether you're traveling solo, on a romantic getaway, or just need a short break, it's absolutely perfect. I've already quietly saved it and will definitely choose to stay here again next time. The room was very spacious and well-equipped. The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking. The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed. The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yunnan.

Choosing this hotel was the best decision of our Dali trip! Despite being in a very rural area (with traffic congestion and unorganized scenic spots), the facilities were excellent, and the hotel's management truly stood out. The entire process, from check-in to check-out, was seamless. They helped with our luggage both ways, and even brought takeout orders directly to our room. The hotel breakfast was fantastic, and we ended up having dinner there all three nights. I highly recommend staying here when you visit. (My only minor disappointment was the complimentary travel photoshoot – it felt quite perfunctory. Even though it was free, guests' time is still valuable!)

The environment here is absolutely amazing! The rooftop view is fantastic, and I absolutely loved the outdoor pool. The city night view is stunning. I highly recommend everyone to experience it; you won't be disappointed. Overall, a very pleasant experience. The facilities are quite comfortable, clean, and tidy. The bed is spacious, and most importantly, the room itself is large. The service was proactive, patient, and thoughtful. A big shoutout to the front desk staff for their warm smiles and prompt responses. Plus, they offer pick-up and drop-off services! The value for money is pretty good; the overall price isn't expensive. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance. Overall, it was a good stay, and everything was quite satisfactory.

Choosing this hotel in Dali Shuanglang was absolutely the right decision! The location is superb, right by Erhai Lake. Opening the window reveals a panoramic view of the entire lake and Cangshan Mountain, and watching the sunset in the evening is incredibly therapeutic. The surroundings are also very quiet, and I even witnessed a breathtaking sunset! Absolutely stunning! The lake view is fantastic, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room facilities are comprehensive, with simple and comfortable decor. The balcony view is amazing, and the bed was very comfortable for a restful sleep. The owner and staff are all incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. What I was most satisfied with was the cleanliness; the room was spotless, with no strange odors, and even the corners were thoroughly cleaned. I felt completely at ease staying here. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Shuanglang.

We loved our stay at the resort. The location is scenic, surrounded by mountains and close to many popular tourist attractions like Cangshan mountain Gantong cableway, Dali ancient town, Chongsheng temple & three pagodas and Longkan wharf. The room was spacious, clean and comfy with typical 5-star amenities and big beds. Breakfast gets crowded at 9am so we went at 10. We liked the Chinese cuisine at their Yuxi restaurant. The dishes at their all-day Spices restaurant were so so. Their service was good. We were able to check-in early and they also offered late check-out. Overall, a good & comfy stay with beautiful views and convenient travel to tourist spots.

I found this hotel in Dali on Trip.com for our family trip to Yunnan. We drove from Kunming to Dali, and the Kunchu-Dali Expressway was easy to navigate, though the tolls were a bit pricey, over a hundred yuan. Once we arrived in Dali, we followed the navigation on National Highway 214 and found the hotel easily. It's located on the downhill slope of Cangshan Mountain, directly facing Erhai Lake. You can see Erhai Lake from the room and enjoy the fresh air of Cangshan. Check-in was straightforward; the front desk already had our room ready. We were lucky enough to get a room upgrade this time. Our room was on the second floor and had a balcony. Sitting on the balcony, sipping tea, chatting, and enjoying the breeze was absolutely delightful. The room was clean and tidy. We booked a twin room, and the beds were very large, easily accommodating three people. There was also a big sofa in the room that could be used as an extra bed. The room was bright, and the soundproofing was excellent, allowing us to sleep in every day. The hotel breakfast cost 98 yuan per person; we tried it, and it was decent. There aren't many entertainment facilities at the hotel, so if you're looking for that, you might want to consider elsewhere. The hotel offers an electric shuttle service to the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple and the Cangshan Gate of Dali Ancient City, but we didn't get to use it this time. The reason was that the hotel only has one shuttle, and it was already booked when we wanted to use it. We would have had to wait an hour. So, in the end, we had to take a taxi to the Ancient City. Also, the sliding door in the bathroom of our room couldn't close properly, leaving a large gap that let in light. On the bright side, the hotel provided a complimentary shawl, free mini-bar drinks, and welcome fruit, which was a nice touch. Despite a few minor flaws, I would still choose this hotel again for my next visit.

This is my second time staying in this hotel. When I was leaving, I chatted with the owner and she told me that I also stayed there on the same day last year. What a wonderful coincidence! I stayed here last year and it was very good. I mainly liked the health programs and organic breakfast here. It is very close to the Caspian Sea. I was too lazy to make a guide this time so I stayed here again. The bed was very comfortable, the quilt was soft, the bathroom was clean and spacious, but the faucet was a little difficult to adjust, and the water rushed too fast and it was a bit painful. Everything else is good, the child said he would stay here again next time. 40-minute back healing SPA: The free program was very comfortable, there was no sales pitch, and the service was done very seriously.
