"I'm so glad I booked this Chinese courtyard hotel. The lobby courtyard's lotus pond was crystal clear, and the pavilion had a wonderfully ethereal and artistic vibe. I loved the Chinese solid wood furniture and the antique lanterns in the room. Front desk staffer Xiao Liu and the other service personnel were very enthusiastic. They upgraded us to a suite for free and even helped with our luggage. The breakfast was especially exquisite, and the rice noodles were delicious. When we checked out and picked up our luggage, the manager even gifted us rose jam, making this a truly worthwhile trip to Dali."

"This hotel is great! The room looks exactly like the pictures online. The location is super convenient for getting around. They even rent out electric scooters on-site, and the staff are really helpful with directions. As someone from Malaysia who isn't familiar with the area, renting a scooter and following their explanations and maps was no problem at all 😂. They also offer a shuttle service to Lijiang, which is really cost-effective and convenient. They pick you up right at the entrance. "I had a very pleasant stay at Erhai Lakeview Apartments. First photo is the view from the room, absolutely stunning! Room is big and spacious with a lot of space to open our luggage. We were assisted by very friendly and helpful staff 小乐 throughout our stay and he provided us with food recommendations around the area as well as possible itinerary or activities to do in Dali during our stay. Additionally, the apartment is conveniently located above a convenience store, local eats, a cafe, and options to rent e-scooters for transport around the city. The street opposite also has many good food options. Would recommend!"

"The hotel was in a very convenient and prime location just at the entrance of Dali Ancient City. There are a lot of food options and convenience stores just right outside the hotel both during the day and at night. The service was inpeccable, with the hotel owner helping to carry my luggage to my room or to the car, or to help me with transport arrangements etc. The room was also clean and cosy, with all the listed amenities. Would recommend for sure!"

"An absolutely delightful and highly recommended stay! This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The location is incredibly convenient, just a 3-minute walk from the high-speed rail station, making getting around super easy. There are restaurants right downstairs, and it's close to Erhai Lake and the ancient city. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. I slept incredibly well all night, completely shaking off any travel fatigue. The front desk staff was fantastic – from check-in to check-out, the lady was so warm and patient, answering all my questions. She even proactively helped with my luggage and recommended nearby attractions. The attention to detail was truly thoughtful. It really set me up for an energetic day. Next time I'm in Dali, I'm definitely choosing this hotel again!"

"The owner was incredibly welcoming and kind. They even picked us up from the bus station and took us to the guesthouse. Our room was spotless and fresh, with no unpleasant smells. The first floor of the guesthouse is absolutely beautiful! 😍 And the rooftop patio is amazing – you can relax on the swing, gaze at Cangshan Mountain in the distance, and admire the old town. It's incredibly peaceful and relaxing! I highly recommend booking here! It's super close to the South Gate of the old town, which is perfect for an evening stroll and experiencing the night market. Overall, a fantastic experience!"

"I highly recommend Dali Ancient City Langlangshan B&B! The location is absolutely perfect, very close to the ancient city. You can walk to the ancient city night market, and it's quiet despite being central, so it's super peaceful at night. The B&B has a fantastic Bai minority courtyard style, with lush greenery everywhere in the yard, creating a truly healing atmosphere. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable, facilities were complete, and the toiletries were high-quality – it was a very comfortable stay. The owner is incredibly warm and attentive, patiently recommending travel routes and local delicacies, providing reliable tips to avoid tourist traps. They're always available for any needs you might have. From the rooftop terrace, you can enjoy distant views of Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain. Feeling the evening breeze of Dali there is just so pleasant. The value for money is outstanding. This is my top choice when visiting Dali, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"My two-night stay here was fantastic! The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. On my second day, they even upgraded me to a sea-view room for free, and opening the curtains to that stunning ocean view instantly brightened my mood. The room was spotless and well-equipped. "Great location near train station. Traffic is bad so even thought the distance is short, it still takes 30min. Walking is faster. Otherwise, it’s just across road from lake. Gym is well equipped. Also has a nice pool but needs swim cap (compulsory). Breakfast buffet also has good variety. Overall recommend."
