They even rent out electric scooters on-site, and the staff are really helpful with directions. As someone from Malaysia who isn't familiar with the area, renting a scooter and following their explanations and maps was no problem at all 😂. They also offer a shuttle service to Lijiang, which is really cost-effective and convenient. They pick you up right at the entrance. "I had a very pleasant stay at Erhai Lakeview Apartments. First photo is the view from the room, absolutely stunning! Room is big and spacious with a lot of space to open our luggage. We were assisted by very friendly and helpful staff 小乐 throughout our stay and he provided us with food recommendations around the area as well as possible itinerary or activities to do in Dali during our stay. Additionally, the apartment is conveniently located above a convenience store, local eats, a cafe, and options to rent e-scooters for transport around the city. The street opposite also has many good food options. Would recommend!"

"Here's my review after a recent stay with my parents, wife, and child. We booked two rooms, so the comments apply to both. **Location:** 1. It's about a ten-minute walk to the South Gate of Dali Ancient City and Gate 2 of the South Gate. 2. The hotel's location is outside the local traffic control zone, which means flexible and convenient travel. 3. It's relatively close to the Erhai Longkan Observation Deck, roughly 3 to 4 kilometers away. I'd recommend taking a Didi (ride-hailing service), which should cost around 20-30 RMB. 4. The main road outside the hotel has many late-night food stalls, great for an evening stroll and snack. **Hotel Facilities:** 1. Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM, with a wide variety of food options. 2. The hotel has an underground parking garage with direct elevator access to the hotel and front desk. 3. The hotel is designed in a traditional courtyard style with three floors. The first floor offers free traditional costume photo opportunities. It's also very quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep. 4. The hotel rooms have a Chinese-style decor and are clean and tidy. 5. The room photos online accurately reflect the actual rooms. **Price:** You get what you pay for. I personally think it's excellent value for money. **Service:** 1. The service was warm and welcoming. 2. When we asked about local attractions, they provided insightful recommendations based on our schedule, helping us avoid wasting time. 3. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out, which was a lovely touch and made us feel very happy. **Areas for Improvement:** 1. The alley leading to the underground parking is a bit narrow, especially the turn into the garage entrance. If you're not an experienced driver, I'd suggest having someone else park. 2. It would be even more perfect if they offered afternoon tea and some snacks from 2 PM to 4 PM."

"The owner was incredibly welcoming and kind. They even picked us up from the bus station and took us to the guesthouse. Our room was spotless and fresh, with no unpleasant smells. The first floor of the guesthouse is absolutely beautiful! 😍 And the rooftop patio is amazing – you can relax on the swing, gaze at Cangshan Mountain in the distance, and admire the old town. It's incredibly peaceful and relaxing! I highly recommend booking here! It's super close to the South Gate of the old town, which is perfect for an evening stroll and experiencing the night market. Overall, a fantastic experience!"

You can walk to Erhai Park, and bus number 4 right outside the door takes you directly to the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, making getting around super easy. The room was clean and tidy, with all the amenities working well, and there was plenty of 24-hour hot water. The service was warm, thoughtful, and responsive. It's great value for money, making it a comfortable stay whether you're traveling for business or leisure. Overall, a very good experience."

"I highly recommend Dali Ancient City Langlangshan B&B! The location is absolutely perfect, very close to the ancient city. You can walk to the ancient city night market, and it's quiet despite being central, so it's super peaceful at night. The B&B has a fantastic Bai minority courtyard style, with lush greenery everywhere in the yard, creating a truly healing atmosphere. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable, facilities were complete, and the toiletries were high-quality – it was a very comfortable stay. The owner is incredibly warm and attentive, patiently recommending travel routes and local delicacies, providing reliable tips to avoid tourist traps. They're always available for any needs you might have. From the rooftop terrace, you can enjoy distant views of Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain. Feeling the evening breeze of Dali there is just so pleasant. The value for money is outstanding. This is my top choice when visiting Dali, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"The hotel was in a very convenient and prime location just at the entrance of Dali Ancient City. There are a lot of food options and convenience stores just right outside the hotel both during the day and at night. The service was inpeccable, with the hotel owner helping to carry my luggage to my room or to the car, or to help me with transport arrangements etc. The room was also clean and cosy, with all the listed amenities. Would recommend for sure!"

"The location is right in the ancient city, and underground parking is convenient. There are also many great restaurants nearby, and best of all, it's not noisy. I especially want to mention the service. On the day of check-in, they proactively contacted me to give parking instructions and highlight important details, and helped recommend good places to eat and fun things to do nearby. After checking out, I forgot an item, and they immediately helped me retrieve it."
