From the smiling front desk staff at check-in to the thoughtfully prepared snacks and small gifts in the lobby, you can feel the hotel's dedication everywhere. The bedding was comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. This will be my go-to hotel from now on!

Choosing the Riyueming Hotel (Minkang Branch) was the best decision I made during my trip to Dalian! From the moment I booked until I checked out, I was impressed by the thoughtful service, excellent location, and meticulous attention to detail. The value for money was incredible, making it an absolute gem for anyone visiting Dalian for tourism or business. I simply had to write a detailed review to recommend it to everyone~ The hotel's location is truly prime. It's just a 5-minute walk to Metro Line 2, making it super convenient whether you're transferring at Dalian Railway Station, taking the subway directly to the airport, or exploring the European architecture of Zhongshan Square and the exotic charm of Russian Street. The surrounding area is also full of treasures. Downstairs, there are authentic Northeast eateries, and local delicacies like sea urchin dumplings and seaweed buns are all within walking distance. It’s perfect for foodies and busy tourists who need to refuel after exploring all day! The cleanliness completely exceeded my expectations. As someone who is very particular about accommodation hygiene, I was thoroughly impressed. The room was spotless, the carpet was so clean I almost didn't want to step on it, and the bathroom featured a perfect wet/dry separation with no odd smells or limescale in the corners. Disposable toilet seat covers and individually packaged toiletries were all provided. The toiletries kit was an even bigger surprise; it included not only shampoo and shower gel but also conditioner and body lotion, beautifully presented in a gift bag, adding a touch of luxury. The linens were changed for each guest, soft, clean, and odorless, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. Service is truly the soul of this hotel. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt a familial warmth. Although the hotel is a vintage villa without an elevator, the front desk attendant immediately offered to help carry our luggage to our room when he saw us with suitcases. He was all smiles, patiently explaining nearby attractions and recommending local restaurants. Upon check-in, we received a thoughtful welcome kit from the hotel, containing some UHA snacks and bottled water. The lobby on the first floor also offers free popcorn and drinks for self-service, perfect for a quick energy boost. When I needed a power strip and a hairdryer, they were delivered to my room within minutes of contacting the front desk, and they even provided a high-quality LaFèn hairdryer – such attention to detail really made me feel cared for. We also received a small gift from the hotel when checking out; this level of sincerity is truly rare. While the room facilities weren't luxurious, they were practical and comfortable. The mattress and latex pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, allowing me to sleep undisturbed until I naturally woke up. The room decor has a retro vibe, and the staircase is stylishly adorned, making it perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. It perfectly preserves the charm of an old building while offering modern conveniences.

An absolutely fantastic stay, great value for money! The price was affordable, but the service and environment far exceeded my expectations. The room was even better than I imagined, clean and comfortable. Definitely a top choice for both business and leisure travel, five stars!

The location is super convenient! It's just a 7-8 minute walk to Zhongshan Square, and only 10 minutes on foot to the train station. There's a big shopping street nearby, plenty of bus routes, and the subway entrance is just a five-minute walk away. The room was really warm, I didn't even need the AC or a blanket. The bathroom was great too, with plenty of hot water. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and even helped me with my luggage. I'm very satisfied!

I originally only planned to stay one night and then move on because it was so late when I arrived, but after experiencing it for an entire night, I was deeply impressed. I was initially worried that an old building like this, with over a hundred years of history, might have an indescribable smell, but there wasn't even a hint of it. The view outside the window was also beautiful. The hotel's retro Republic of China style is exactly to my taste; every detail in its decoration is thoughtfully arranged. Both the front desk staff and the cleaning lady were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. The small paper bag given at check-in thoughtfully contained some snacks, and the front desk also provided bottled water and popcorn 🍿, available anytime you needed them. I have to mention again that the hotel's decor, ambiance, and sense of tranquility alone make it worth the price. This kind of soft service definitely sets the benchmark for hotels in the same price range. I already had my ticket back to Beijing, otherwise, I would have loved to extend my stay. Oh, and it's also very important to mention that the hotel's location is super convenient! It's right in the city center, making it incredibly easy to get anywhere you want to go. It's a superb transportation hub. All in all, the next time I visit Dalian, this will be the first hotel I think of staying at.
