The hotel is from the era where they used marble tiles in the bathrooms and heavy quality wood furniture which is pretty charming. Bed was very comfortable and staff were generally helpful altho a couple of the reception staff were quite brusque, also they spoke really fast in an accent I couldn't always understand. I think they should be more mindful of visitors from abroad. The most helpful and courteous member of staff was the bellhop.
The hotel claims to be non-smoking which is a joke cuz my room reeked of cigarette smoke and I told the staff so when she brought me there but she just said oh they've already turned down the room. Since I stayed for only 1 night, I didn't make a fuss. But non-smoking rooms are generally a joke in China, there is no enforcement and smokers have no consideration for others. Non-smokers in this country have no rights.

The room is in very good condition. The cleaning lady is very professional and conscientious. The bedding, towels and sanitary products are all well selected. The stay is very comfortable, especially the Chinese restaurant on the second floor. Every dish is very delicious. I ate every meal here for three consecutive days. The waiters are also very nice.
