We were only at this hotel 1 day and had multiple issues with a male member of housekeeping. At 9:00 am the hallway was completely blocked by housekeeping carts. Next the same staff member was in the hallway speaking loudly and playing music. The worst encounter with the same staff member was when he our door and proceeded to barge into our room at 12:07 PM. I had arranged a late checkout with the front desk staff, there was a do not disturb sign on our door and my wife and I were trying to take a nap before a long drive home. I would have given the hotel a 2.5 star rating if that was an option. The room was nice, it was clean and the front desk staff were professional. Another issue was two times in our short stay there was someone smoking week by the front door. Not a great place to bring kids.

This is our second stay at this property and that's a great review by itself. This is not a five star hotel and shouldn't be compared to one. It is a property that delivers what is expected. You get a clean room, free parking, a good location, super friendly helpful staff and a fair price. Also a good breakfast. After we checked in we realized that my 4' 11” wife with a hip replacement could really benefit from a small stool or step to help with getting into bed. I called the front desk and Quenton said he would check. Literally within minutes he was knocking on our door with the needed item. We will be back.

I stayed here for a week in August 2019 and enjoyed my stay. Rooms have exterior doors to the outside which I prefer since I usually carry a lot of stuff with me when I travel and makes it much easier to unload my car. I got a king bed room and it was very spacious and the bathroom area had a wide counter so plenty of space to put toiletries and such. The shower always had very hot water in the morning. There is a mini-fridge that worked well. The cable TV selection is very good with some movie channels included. The WiFi was very fast at around 50 Mbps and reliable. There is free breakfast in the lobby every morning and you can enjoy your own self-made waffles. Also scrambled eggs and bacon, too. The pool looked clean and refreshing but I didnt have any time to take a dip, and I was surprised on hot days there were no people enjoying it. The front office staff is very helpful. I noticed at night there was no shady people walking around and the cops did patrol the place occasionally.

There were crack heads outside my door all night one even tried to come in through the connected door in the room . There were young’s kids yelling and arguing all night . We stayed two nights and both nights were horrible due to the residents. Services and cleanliness was great !

My experience at Hilton was amazing sweet respectful employees helped me with anything I need very polite and made sure I was satisfied with my room … asked me if I needed anything everytime they seen me . My room was very very clean and had everything I needed n there I would recommend this hotel anytime any day free hot breakfast every morning hard working cooks keeps the guest happy satisfied and full … the worker that works at the front booking people in she’s beautiful and very very nice she makes sure you got everything u need before you go to your room … anybody that walks through that door she speaks and offer water or snack … she very good at her job

The hotel isn’t far from I-20 and is situated on the back side of a mall. There are several restaurants around the mall to have dinner. The hotel looks like it has been updated. The lobby and hallways were clean and sanitizer stations were available by the elevators and lobby. However, staff members were not wearing masks if that is important to you. The staff was friendly. I wasn’t welcomed as a Gold member or any perks explained like free high speed internet like at most hotels. When I asked if there were any upgrades available and they told me that they were out of King rooms and the high floor rooms were booked. The parking lot was pretty empty so I checked the app to see if I could reserve a king room and King rooms and studios were available to be booked so it seemed like they just didn’t want to do an upgrade. My room was clean I thought until i went to shower and found the last occupants wash rag hanging over the shower rod! Yuck! That makes you question how thoroughly the room was cleaned. The shower would only get lukewarm and the bathroom fan didn’t work. We went to get ice and the machine on our floor is unplugged. I expect more from a Marriott brand hotel.

During our stay, we had not one but TWO separate guests given the key to our room. The first incident was at 10:30 PM and woke up our entire family after repeated multiple entries from the guest (door had the inside latch on thankfully but loud slamming multiple times). We had a 5 month old and 2 year old in the room and slept very poorly the rest of the night. When we called down we were interrogated about whether we were in the right room and had a reservation and made to feel like we were somehow in the wrong. After a long discussion, we were comped the night, which we were happy with. The second time it happened was 10 AM on the morning of check out. The person walked into the room while I was nursing my baby and husband was in the shower- so extremely compromising positions. When I called down the manager made excuses for staff and when I asked for an apology she got mad at me and hung up. All requests for further rectification have been ignored by the hotel and IHG. This is a MAJOR safety issue and I would NOT recommend anyone stay here as I have no idea how the hotel has ensured this wouldn't happen to other guests. The GM, IHG, and above have made us somehow feel out of line for asking for anything else to make up for this terrible stay despite the fact we did not feel safe, and have since felt anxious in any other hotel. Our valuables and possessions could have been stolen if we were not in the room at the time these incidents happened, our kids could have been in danger, and the other guests themselves could have been in danger. Do not stay here if you value safety and to feel valued as a guest. Also IHG will not let me post this review on their site as it contains ”legally sensitive information” yet will not respond to my concerns.

I love the rooms. There is actually room to move around. I also appreciate the friendliness of the staff! They were all very helpful! Especially Meski when I went to eat breakfast. It was really nice to see her face again! She goes out of her way to make everyone feel at ease, and make sure they have everything they need. There were a couple of guys, I wish I had gotten their names. One worked the desk at night, and the other one supplied the breakfast food and kept it filled. He was there last year as well.

I stay in a lot of hotels…mostly Marriott. This hotel does not meet the Marriott standard. We checked in late from flying all day and almost left and found somewhere else, but decided to stay because we were so tired. I asked the receptionist to give us a quiet room, he kept saying he would and it would be a high floor. The room was on floor 5 (not high), right in front of elevators. They had a family reunion and a conference going on and at 11 pm it was so loud! The room never got cool, and the bed was awful! Like I said before, I mostly stay in Marriott’s and typically love the mattress’s but this was not Marriotts normal mattress. It also looked like it had been updated but whoever did this remodel did shotty work.

Stayed here in late August. The hotel is fine. It could use a little updating; but, the room was clean and comfortable, the location is great and convenient to spots in and out of the city, the I didn't have any issues with noise or anything else that others have mentioned. The only issue was parking which as others have noted is $6 a night even though (1) it's unusual for a Courtyard that's not in an urban/downtown area to charge for parking and (2) it's unnecessary given how large the parking area is at the hotel. When I checked in, I specifically told the front desk clerk that I was not parking a vehicle, yet the charge still appeared on my final bill. The hotel removed the charge, though there was a little harrumphing about it. Otherwise, everything about the hotel was fine, and it's a bit better than other reviewers have mentioned.

Sheriff was so kind to drive me to my classes and pointed out how to get to the Falcons game. He is friendly, kind and always smiling. The front desk, valets, housekeepers, and other staff are also outstanding. It was nice to be greeted upon my returns. It felt a little like home each time. The rooms are immaculate. The location is nice (there is a mall across the street). It was nice to have a home away from home. Well done , everyone and thank you.

Most of the rooms on our floor were were under renovation. Our initial room was run down with peeling paint, wallpaper, and missing tiles. The hallway light went out. We eventually requested a different room due to construction dust in the air. The second room was fine until the fire alarm went off at 12:30 am. The pool and gym were closed.

We rented a suite at this hotel for 3 nights. We needed a suite for extra sleeping space for grandchildren. The price was good. The room was just ok. the bathroom door was super wide and at times, got in the way. The bathroom was small and the toilet was very low. At first, the beds felt comfortable, but really weren't conducive to a good night's sleep for any of us. The mattresses were too firm, I think. The room AC worked fine but never got cool enough at night. Glad we took our own fans. Mike, at the front desk at check in, was very nice and accommodating. After that, we rarely saw any hotel personnel. There was no maid service at all after our check in, and I assume that this was because of Covid. However, I want to mention that the room was very clean when we checked in. Still, after 3 days and nights, trash service is more than a necessity. Thankfully, we had taken a large kitchen trash bag. No replacement towels or t.p. The hotel was located in a good, easy access area. It was quiet at night. Both plusses. Breakfast was a negative. I was told that there would at least be cereal, milk and some fresh fruit options. There was none of that. They had granola bars, cheap, out of the box cinnamon rolls, apple juice, orange juice and coffee. Older TV set in room. Not very large and not all that many channels and no guide. With a suite, I am used to having 2 TVs, but not here, and our Roku would not fit in what should be standard HDMI ports.

Through the kindness of a gentleman named Lamar, he helped me basically with a genuine smile and a genuine uplifting and kind face. These are the images that constantly radiate happiness no matter what level you’re at. You can build a large bridge and have your name on it , but no one really cares...it’s when you’re kind and careful and gentle with others. This is when things really takeoff - working a hard day getting paid less than a lot of people do these days and no matter what they leave -everything behind and constantly wave and smile and keep it all behind them, because these are a professional at work while they maintain their duty as being a gracious host. It is these kind of movements that go unnoticed because no one takes the time to write them out or put their name on it or have it written up as if it were a special gift for some charity. This is in no case such a thing this is the kindness where people do not have the funds to raise $10,000 for some meaningless charity ball. I am sure that is hard as it is to deal with people on a day-to-day basis this can be an extremely grueling process and then to add a smile end it actually try to help them along is something that they should be rewarded for and I am desperately tired of those cannot wait until time is up “ faces” .Thank you for your help Lamar— It meant a lot and so many ways :-)

I have stayed at many IHG hotels, including Holiday Inn. I have stayed at new, old, and renovated properties and have had positive experiences. I stay at Northlake hotels when I am visiting family. I choose this hotel because I am familiar with the brand, and it offered the lowest rate by about $20. I felt like I found a great deal. From the outside, the hotel is a standard, pleasant hotel, although the palm trees out front were kind of suspicious for Atlanta. Lobby looks okay. But after check-in, things got worse. One was not allowed to use the rear entrance to the building; thus, one must walk to the side or front entrance. Elevator looks poorly maintained; hallways were dark with harsh fluorescent lighting and had that really strong ”old building” smell. There was also the smell of pot (and I don't have a problem with it, but I do when I'm in a hotel). As for the room, it had that old smell, the hutch for hanging clothes look well-worn and scratched up. The couch was well-worn. The remote didn't have the battery cover. There was hair in the sink. In the morning, the water didn't drain out of the bathtub while showering. That was the last straw for me. I checked out two days early. I understand those are a lot of negatives but let me stress some things. First, the bed was new and very comfortable. Second, the staff, from the receptionist to the maintenance crew, were *very nice* and *accommodating*. Any request I made was met, and everyone was genuinely proud and happy to be working there. I just wish the hotel physically was as pleasant as the staff. And even though the hotel has been renovated, more needs to be done. As for now, this hotel should not be flagged a Holiday Inn.

However, our experience took a turn for the worse during the nights. One particular incident stands out: the lights in the lobby were abruptly turned off while I was there. Although I understand the need for quiet time and the rule about no pool table play after 10 pm, it was disheartening to have the lights turned off on me. We rented a suite at this hotel for 3 nights. We needed a suite for extra sleeping space for grandchildren. The price was good. The room was just ok. the bathroom door was super wide and at times, got in the way. The bathroom was small and the toilet was very low. At first, the beds felt comfortable, but really weren't conducive to a good night's sleep for any of us. The mattresses were too firm, I think. The room AC worked fine but never got cool enough at night. Glad we took our own fans. Mike, at the front desk at check in, was very nice and accommodating. After that, we rarely saw any hotel personnel. There was no maid service at all after our check in, and I assume that this was because of Covid. However, I want to mention that the room was very clean when we checked in. Still, after 3 days and nights, trash service is more than a necessity. Thankfully, we had taken a large kitchen trash bag. No replacement towels or t.p. The hotel was located in a good, easy access area. It was quiet at night. Both plusses. Breakfast was a negative. I was told that there would at least be cereal, milk and some fresh fruit options. There was none of that. They had granola bars, cheap, out of the box cinnamon rolls, apple juice, orange juice and coffee. Older TV set in room. Not very large and not all that many channels and no guide. With a suite, I am used to having 2 TVs, but not here, and our Roku would not fit in what should be standard HDMI ports.

After changing to a three-story room, the indoor air conditioner has a dehumidification function, and the refrigerator is basically no noise, which is quite good. The room is large and feels like a motel. Good location, across the road is EMORY University, there is a bus stop at the door to enter the city. There are many small restaurants walking nearby, which tastes good. The service is very good and responsive. Strongly recommend the aquarium, very good! Big and not many people. A certain treasure online shopping citypass pass, a lot cheaper. Breakfast is bread, milk, yogurt, cereal, coffee, fruit, very simple, no choice.

This hotel was very clean because it is a new hotel. The amenities were nice. Beautiful picture on tv and a lot of space to store your clothing. However, check in was terrible. The man at the desk was frustrated with checking us in. In the middle of checking my dad and I into our separate rooms, he decided to check in three other people. My dad and I looked at each other in disbelief that he would forget we were standing there after a crazy trip there. I had a flat tire and trying to locate somewhere close to get a tire for my car was difficult. The donut that was put on my car was flat also. So, my dad and I was exhausted by the time we got to the hotel. So, for this man to check in three other people saying we got on his nerves, was so disrespectful. I couldn’t understand the frustration when we had just got there. Maybe he needs a break. I do not know!!!😔
