Top Hotels in Emeishan

We had an amazing stay, thanks to Lina who spoke English & helped us enormously. The hotel is very clean & modern & has lovely hot spring baths. We had a choice of western or Chinese breakfast.

The location is what makes you stay here. The hotel is otherwise basic for the price - but it was clean, comfy and came with amazing views (when it briefly cleared) and a very short walk up stairs to see the sunrise/sunset and statue. A table of sunrise and sunset times is posted - arrive early if you want a front row view. Breakfast was basic but sufficient and plentiful. Recommend packing light and only taking up the mountain what you need for your stay as there’s a lot of stairs. While the staff did speak some English (much more than my Chinese) a translation app is highly recommended if you don’t speak the language.

The price-performance ratio is very high. The room is very large, spacious and comfortable. The room with the window facing the west is very quiet at night. It was raining when we arrived at Emeishan Station. I was worried about not being able to get a taxi, so I called the hotel and the lady boss came to pick me up in her car. I was very touched! If I have to nitpick, there is no holder for shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom. To take a shower, you need to place the shower gel on the bathroom floor or on the handrail of the bathroom slide door. It is not convenient. I hope the store can do it. Add a stand to your bathroom. Everything else is fine. If I come to Emeishan next time, I will continue to stay here. The location is also unbeatable, less than 100 meters walk to the Tourist Passenger Transport Center, and it is very convenient to take the bus up the mountain. There are various restaurants downstairs, which is convenient for eating, but I would like to remind you that there is a local restaurant called Dihao. Don’t go there. It’s expensive and not delicious. I don’t know why there are so many people. I thought it was delicious because of the crowd, but I felt cheated. . You must buy shoe covers when going up the mountain in winter. If it rains at the foot of the mountain, there must be snow on the mountain. Shoe covers are an anti-slip mountaineering tool! In less than half an hour by bus, the green landscape turned into a white snowy landscape!

We stayed at Emeishan Gand Hotel on two separate occasions. We were impressed by the attentive service made by our hostess Miss Geng and she had made all the effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We appreciated all the effort the staff at Emeishan Grand Hotel had made and the idyllic location of this hotel made it the perfect base to explore the majestic Emei Mountain and is surroundings.

The hotel is in a great place, opposite the bus station, close to the train station and there are lots of parking spaces. The staff is very helpful and kind, thank you very much for everything. Breakfast is rich, satisfying the tastes of both Easterners and Westerners, all compliments. The rooms are clean and worm and the biggest surprise is the indoor pool, which is large and clean. Hot spring is great, too, there are more pools. We can't wait to get back!

The hotel is very close to the Huangwan Visitor Center. It is very convenient to take a bus to visit Mount Emei. The surrounding restaurants and supermarkets are very convenient. The service of the lady at the front desk is very good. She called in advance to discuss the pick-up time. What is particularly commendable is that I forgot to take away my mobile phone charger. The lady specially sent me WeChat to let me know. I rarely make comments, so I have to talk about it seriously this time. Basically, the famous mountains in China have been visited, and the hotels on the mountains have also been stayed, but this is the first time that the mountain top hotel is so good (note! I am talking about the top of the mountain). When I made the reservation, I was still very disturbed by the reviews, saying that the sanitation is not good, the glass is dirty, etc., but I chose this one to watch the sunrise. The experience after check-in is five stars, which is very good 👍 electric curtains, separate bathroom, Oxygen concentrators, Internet TV, these are very surprising on the top of the mountain, the design of every corner of the hotel can be said that more than 90% of the hotels in the city are less than this one. I took my 70-year-old parents to Mount Emei, the last stop of the off-season self-driving tour in western Sichuan. The hotel was chosen correctly. The old five-star hotel has a great location. I chose the more affordable room type in Building 5. The room decoration is old-fashioned, but very clean, with a super high cost performance. The bed is not small, a solid 1.3 meters, which can sleep two people. It is given a high floor so there is no obstruction outside the window. If you stay for more than two nights, I strongly recommend the lake view room. The view is great! The hotel has 8 buildings. I live in Building 5, which is the outermost and most convenient. Of course, other buildings can be driven downstairs by themselves, but it is really a bit far to walk. Building 8 is at the innermost, suitable for staying in for a few days to completely empty yourself and not go out, haha It’s a pity that I didn’t go to the hotel hot spring because I only stayed for one night. I just left from Hailuogou on the morning of the check-in day. The waiter introduced that the radon hot springs in Mount Emei are completely different from the sulfur hot springs in Hailuogou. I hope to have the opportunity to experience it again in the future. The first choice hotel for traveling in Mount Emei, suitable for all travel, business, couples, and families...

It's clean and hygienic, and the transportation is convenient. There's Lawson nearby. It's also very convenient to eat at night. I got a free hot spring ticket. It's just downstairs of the hotel. It's not bad. There's also a pick-up and drop-off service.

Foreign guests are sure of a friendly welcome here and the owners are so kind and thoughtful. Tasty, well-prepared food in the restaurant, and convenient for Emeishan tourist centre just round the corner. Amazing value, but as there aren't so many backpackers these days, they.could raise the room rates and get new towels for the bathrooms
