What an incredible experience! I travel weekly and stay at chain hotels at least 2 - 3 nights throughout the US every week. I spent one night with my husband at this property as a retreat to get away from the crazy. Lill and Mike greeted us at check-in with so much kindness and care. They could not have catered to us more. We had an amazing cocktail at the bar area, an incredible meal in the dining room, and a breakfast the next morning that I can't stop raving about. The Inn is clean and beautiful with amazing mountain views in the back porch breakfast area. Can't wait to go back again!!

My experience with Jonathan and Natalie Spak is positive. I am very disturbed by the review posted by Aja C as it seems vindictive. I booked two rooms for two nights for March 2023 as a getaway for two elderly couples. Unfortunately, due to health reasons we were unable to travel. Although we canceled during the no refund policy, Jonathan was understanding.

My first and last experience with this place. The service here was abysmal, so bad in fact that I think the Chef/Owner Jonathan Spark needs to either re-train, or completely fire the whole FOH staff. This was a Birthday reservation for my wife, a special occasion, ruined by whatever drama was going on with the whole FOH staff. They were rude, unpleasant, disingenuous and could care less that we were there. First thing through the door, we were not greeted, but treated with hostility and disdain. Table we reserved was not ready, and we were made to wait 10 minutes after the reservation time. When seated, we waited almost 20 minutes just to be able to have the ability to order a simple cocktail. My wife doesn't drink, however, I brought her here because there was supposed to be a suffucient mocktail menu. When we asked if a juice on one of the mocktails could be made with something else, since she didn't want passionfruit, it was like asking a scientist if they could adjust the formula for rocket fuel. What kind of Bartender can't make adjustments to a recipe as simple as juice? The Central Provisions bartenders would be ROTFL at a bartender of this caliber. Which begs the question as to why they were hired in the first place to tend bar? After that? You guessed it, more waiting, for a simple cocktail for me, and an organic lemonade for my Wife. Not what she wanted. Wait of almost 20 for two really simple things. We weren't checked on. There was very very poor communication from our server. Again, treated with complete disdain. Food was the only thing that was decent. Not Fore Street Restaurant good, but decent. The last thing I will say is this, I worked for the aforementioned Fore Street for 4 years. These servers would have been fired immediately for this type of behavior and lack of professionalism. There is always a maître d' to greet and take care of you, to make you feel welcome. Sadly, the standard for this at Oxford is non-existent. What a sour plac

Dined at the restaurant. it never fails to disappoint. Everything cooked to perfection, lovely service, even though it was packed. We go there every few months, and every year on my birthday. This is my go to place for a special meal. I had the bibb lettuce salad and the poke sirloin bowl, which was an appetizer, but very generous and enough for a meal. Hubs had the lemon cheesecake dessert which was to die for.

We dined at the Oxford House Inn restaurant to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary (and stayed at the inn overnight as well). The dining experience was fabulous in every respect. Chef Jonathan’s menu is exceptional…highly sophisticated and creative fare in terms of offerings, combinations of interesting ingredients, and varying textures. We each had a package which included an appetizer, main course, and dessert. Our selections were the tempura beef and scallion maki roll and tuna rillette appetizers, pan roasted pork tenderloin and Bulgogi brussels sprout vegan bibimbop (main courses), and key lime cheesecake and rum cake for dessert. All were delicious without exception. (As the portions were quite ample, we ended up taking back home with us portions of the main course and the desserts to continue the celebration.) The dining areas for dinner and breakfast the next day were atmospheric and afforded great views of the surroundings. Each time, our servers were warm, gracious, and accommodating (as was everyone else working at the inn that we encountered). We were happy that we didn’t have to travel anyplace after dinner and chose a room (the Sewing Room) that was comfortable and quiet. Thank you Oxford House Inn for helping us make our special occasion unforgettable.
