PACO HOTEL Hotels in Guangzhou

This hotel is nice and cozy with modern building and amenities. The price is budget friendly. The location is about 20 minutes walk from Jiahewanggang metro station and you need to use exit gate G or H. I prefer G coz it has escallator if you carry a baggage. Upon exiting the gate, you will be facing the hospital in front of you and kindly turn left to start walking until the big traffic light junction, and then turn right. Walk straight until you find second traffic light intersection, and Paco should be on your right side. If you are looking for halal food, the chinese muslim restaurant is around the corner beside coffe shop.

Not that close to subway... but fortunately close to bus stops. After check-in I went out for dinner, after coming back late, I requested a change of room. I noticed it was a smoking room, while during booking i opted for a non-smoking room. The attending service desk employee said every room got sold out and told me he would address this in the morning. Very early in the morning I went back for this, nobody at servicedesk knew about my request. Also mentioned there is a lot of noise, because the outer windows could not be closed. This is probably due to the warm weather where the metals frame got distorted. The lady offered me a new non-smoking room, the first room I got offered had the same issue with distorted metal frame window that would not close. Luckily the second one did close. Since the change was early in the morning it gave me the impression that it could have been done in the evening as well, since both room that I got offered where all cleaned and ready for use.

People at front desk are very helpful and polite. Rooms are big, there are enough facilities to stay 1 week. Many shops and restaurants nearby. It's great to have a free shuttle to the fair, it's very convenient ! We already stayed 3 times in this hotel, and we have to mention that cleanliness is deteriorating a little bit. Considering the price, the room is not as clean as it should be. To my opinion, only 1 big problem: the sheets of the bed, because it's made of polyester or another synthetic material, and I sweat too much during the night. I don't have a restful sleep because of that ...

Been staying here for over 10 years now , 4 times at time per year. Good location lots of restaurants nearby, and shopping mall in front. 1 halal restaurant 2 minutes walk on the left. Staff always smiling and friendly.

Service was great. Breakfast was adequate - nothing fancy but the items were fresh and tasty. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Daily fruit delivery was fresh.

Room is new and comfortable, very trendy design and a beautiful hotel. A lot of room amenities are provided and they are good quality amenities, like Evian Water and drip coffee. Good selection of breakfast and pretty tasty food. Staff is helpful and friendly, one staff offered me a cup of tea when he saw me sitting at the lobby. My stay have been overall very pleasant except for a few caveats as below: Aircon have a bit of knocking initially when running, but was ok after a while. When aircon is running, blinds knock against the wall from the wind, but can be pushed to the side to prevent it from knocking. Sometimes water can be heard running through the pipes, but it generally stops after about 10pm. These are generally easily rectified and I have feedback to the staff and they will do their best to rectify this. For a new hotel, I find it very good and I will come back to stay again.

Not the best but if you are visiting Guangzhou for any fair and if can't find any hotel very near to the fair then this can be one the option.

Location is very good with many restaurants and little shops with all sorts of services like minimarts, pharmacy, massage, coffee takeaway nearby. Can walk over to Tai Koo Hui also and easy to get on and off hire cars. The hotel itself can use a bit of deep cleaning such as the carpets. The room itself is clean and amenities are ok. The staff are also very friendly and helpful so overall quite a nice place to stay in.

I arrived at the hotel after 1:00am and the person who checked me in knew some English. I wasn’t able to get the audiovisual room because it was broken, so they upgraded my room to a suite. I was still hoping to use my computer with the TV. Nope. The TVs are mounted on the wall but they also have their own cutout space in the wall so no access to the HDMI plugs on the TVs. The bathtub and shower are ver nice. The tub is deep and the water runs out quickly. I moved to the audiovisual room after the projector was fixed and still no access to the HDMI plug. The bathtub was just as nice. The personnel who helped me to move was not able to speak English but they used the translation app to speak to me. Overall, I had a nice stay in that host at at the Paco Hotel!

The Paco Hotel is an excellent choice for business travel. It's reasonably priced, clean, and provides a comfortable stay. The location is decent, with convenient shops nearby for any necessities or quick errands. It offers great value for its cost, and I would definitely recommend it for a hassle-free business trip.
