GGuest UserThe room was very clean and the environment was great. The front desk staff were very patient. It's very close to the subway station, which made getting around super convenient. It was a really good travel experience. If you're traveling with kids, there's a children's park right across the street where you can take them.

YYizhimaimaiThe decor is very new, and the suite facilities are comprehensive, with a fridge, washing machine, and dishwasher – perfect for families traveling with both young and old. Yuexiu Park is right across the street, and BeiYuan Restaurant is incredibly convenient. The hotel also has a kids' play area, great for younger children to burn off energy, which my daughter loved. The breakfast was thoughtfully prepared, even featuring freshly made beef buns. From the front desk concierge to the bell staff and the cleaning aunties, everyone was extremely friendly. Five-star rating, I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Guangzhou!

Our stay at this hotel left a deep impression on my family, thanks to the incredible and thoughtful staff. As one example of their outstanding service, my daughter had left a note asking if they could help collect her laundry from the dryer while they were out. When they returned from sightseeing, they were deeply touched to find that the staff had not only collected their clothes but had also folded them beautifully and left them neatly on the bed.
The laundry room facilities are top-notch. They provide high-quality Walch brand detergent and softener, rather than cheap generic brands, which made us feel safe and comfortable doing our daily laundry in a clean environment.
There was a minor issue with a mosquito in the room, but this was entirely due to the changing season and definitely not the hotel's fault. In fact, the hotel was fully prepared and provided an electric mosquito repellent in the room—my daughter just missed it at first!
The cleanliness, safety, and heartwarming service here are truly commendable. We highly recommend this hotel to our friends and family, and will definitely be back!

GGuest UserThe hotel amenities are pretty standard, but the location is great with lots of food options nearby. Plus, they offer free afternoon tea and late-night snacks.
However, the soundproofing is terrible. On the first night, I stayed in a city-view room and it was incredibly noisy – I barely slept. 😓 After complaining to customer service the next day, they moved me to a river-view room. It had an amazing view directly overlooking the Canton Tower and Liede Bridge. The soundproofing was a bit better on the river-view side.
Kudos to customer service for their quick response!

GGuest UserThe weather was hot, so a few families grouped together to escape the heat here. The rooms were spacious enough, the river view was expansive, and the pool was quite open. The pool is on the top floor and is divided into three areas: the curved shallow area is constant temperature, while the round side pool and the large infinity pool have cooler water, which is perfect for summer. PS: It was so comfortable, even adults lounging on the side enjoyed a cool breeze with no mosquitoes! The kids' play area was smaller than expected, suitable for 1-3 year old babies. We'd definitely revisit this hotel just for the pool and the rooms!

GGuest UserI have to give a shout-out to the Westin Guangzhou! I was pleasantly surprised to get a free upgrade to a suite upon arrival, which immediately doubled my experience. The suite was spacious and clean, with great natural light and excellent soundproofing. The bedding was so comfortable, I slept incredibly soundly. The front desk staff were warm, polite, and provided attentive service throughout my stay. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and the location made getting around super convenient. Overall, the environment is upscale and grand, and the service is generous and thoughtful. It's perfect for both business and leisure, and the value for money exceeded my expectations. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Guangzhou!

AAnonymous UserI was extremely satisfied with my overall stay at this hotel, it definitely deserves a five-star rating. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; it's very close to Pazhou, near Keyun Road metro station, just an 8-minute walk away, and there's a bus stop right downstairs. There are also plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. In the evenings, you can even take a walk along the Pearl River to enjoy the river views. The room decor is tasteful and elegant, with a modern minimalist style that still feels cozy. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the cleaning was very thorough, ensuring a neat and clean environment. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the chef enthusiastically recommended dishes, which showed great care. The heated pool wasn't crowded, making for a very comfortable night swim. The hotel's location, room facilities, and hygiene standards all exceeded my expectations, offering excellent value for money. I will definitely choose to stay at the East Stanton Hotel again on my next visit to Guangzhou.

GGuest UserI first went to Panyu Hotel, queued up for check-in, but after several minutes, neither of the two front desk staff acknowledged me. It felt like waiting in line at a bank. So, I turned to my phone, searched for nearby hotels, and found Grand Mercure with good reviews. Here's my experience:
The good parts:
1. They have 4 EV charging stations, and I didn't have to wait to charge (probably because I arrived late), which was one of the reasons I chose Grand Mercure.
2. Plenty of parking. I noticed there was a conference on the 6th floor these past few days, but there were still plenty of empty parking spots, so no worries about finding a space.
3. There's an outdoor swimming pool, and guests can swim for free. The pool hadn't closed when I arrived, but it was raining, so the staff said they'd wait for the rain to stop before opening it. The next morning, it wasn't raining, and I spent some time by the pool (didn't bring swimwear or a cap). Even though it rained the day before, the water was still very clean.
4. Customer service representative Xiao Mai (MAI) told me my room was on the 6th floor and that there was a conference upstairs. Concerned I might not find my way, she personally escorted me to the room and helped me adjust the temperature and lighting. Her service gets a perfect 10.
5. The room was quiet. Willow at the front desk, when I checked in around 6 or 7, offered me choices: a room with a pool view, a bathtub, or a balcony. I picked the one with a balcony. Although it didn't overlook the hotel pool, I could step out to get some fresh air and feel the breeze (thankfully, I had sprayed insect repellent beforehand; Guangdong mosquitoes can fly up to the 6th floor and fly high after a blood meal!). The mattress was soft and comfortable, not lumpy. The carpet looked old and faded but was very clean, probably having been recently cleaned.
6. Good greenery and abundant plants. The fountain turns off at night, so it doesn't disturb sleep.
7. The hotel has three interconnected buildings forming a '凹' shape. There are elevators in the connecting areas. If you're on the 6th floor, taking the scenic elevator down to your car is quite convenient, saving you a trip to the main lobby.
8. The Chinese restaurant on the first floor didn't seem to be open. Guihua recommended nearby Shun Jing Ming Lou, Shui Yun Jian, Da Shu Tou, and Hua Xi Yu (which sounds beautiful, and I ended up going there) for Cantonese cuisine. The prices in the vicinity aren't as high as in Shenzhen, so they're acceptable.
Areas for improvement:
1. Every time I need to exit the parking lot, I have to scan a QR code or call the front desk to enter my license plate number, which is quite inconvenient. The hotel should consider upgrading its parking system, similar to Chimelong's, where you input your car details at check-in, and it's valid until check-out the next day.
2. The cakes at afternoon tea were not very refined; they were too simple.
3. If it's your first time and you're staying on the 6th floor, I'd recommend having someone escort you, as it can be a bit confusing to navigate.
For me, the pros outweighed the cons. It really depends on personal preferences.

GGuest UserMy friend booked this hotel for our trip, and we were so lucky to meet the kind and handsome Henry! He really helped us out with our group of three. We were told that the rooms with a view of Canton Tower were all taken, but then – boom! We hit the jackpot! The bathroom in the room we were assigned actually had an unbeatable, fantastic view of Canton Tower! (Though a group of us in the bathroom, bending over with a cake for photos, was pretty hilarious.) It totally beat the rooms that were directly facing it! Mark room 4911! Huge thanks to Henry!

GGuest UserAfter our trip, my fondness for Chimelong Hotel has transformed into heartfelt words. This isn't just a hotel; it's a warm sanctuary in a wondrous land. The hotel itself is a miniature ecological paradise, with new sights at every turn and surprises hidden everywhere. The rooms are playfully designed, with meticulous details that rekindle a childlike wonder even in adults. The dining experience was exceptional, from the lavish breakfast buffet to the thoughtful late-night snacks, everything satisfied our discerning palates.
What truly moved us was the service from Jiang Ying. Her smile was as gentle as a warm spring sun. She not only thoughtfully planned routes for us to avoid crowds but also carefully informed us about the next day's weather changes, reminding us to add layers and bring an umbrella. Her attentiveness went beyond mere professionalism; it felt like care from a distant friend. The hotel's family-friendly facilities are excellent, allowing children to let loose, while the heated pool and fitness center provide adults with complete relaxation. The convenient shuttle service made exploring the park effortless. Waving goodbye upon departure, we already made a pact to return, because this place offers not only top-notch amenities but also staff like Jiang Ying, who treat guests like family, making the entire journey shine with human warmth.
Additionally, I want to extend a special thank you to the staff at the White Tiger Restaurant. I fainted near the restroom entrance, and the staff were incredibly helpful, responding very promptly. A female staff member with glasses stayed with me until we left the restaurant. The hotel medical staff also arrived quickly, and someone even helped pack porridge for me and lent me a shawl… The next morning when we went for breakfast, several staff members came over to specifically ask if I was feeling better and if I needed any further assistance… Thank you all!
