Beautiful lakeside hotel in Hangzhou. The rooms are small houses surrounded by trees, very well looked after. Being close to the lake, there is a bit of humidity. Excellent service, we also used the laundry service. Always friendly staff and delicious food.

The hotel is located in the Quyuan Fenghe Scenic Area of ​​West Lake. The lush trees shade the white cabins in the forest. Although the room is not big, the environment is really good, full of green and fresh air. I stayed for 3 nights in a row. It was very quiet at night. I could fall asleep with the sound of the drizzle and wake up in the morning with the chirping of insects and birds. It was very comfortable. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the West Lake. There is a bus stop on the Yanggong Dike next to the hotel, which is very convenient to go to Hupao and Songcheng. The only small drawback is that the humidity in the room is a bit high, but it is understandable because it is close to the West Lake and it rained every day when we went there.

Let's talk about the advantages first: The location is very good. The small courtyard outside the hotel is the Quyuan Fenghe Scenic Area. Looking out from the window, there are lush trees, and occasionally you can see squirrels and birds. I was awakened by the birdsong around me every morning. The room also has a skylight, which can directly see the sky, but it's a pity that it's always cloudy, and I don't know if I can see the stars on a sunny day. Let's talk about the disadvantages: Because it's in the scenic area, the transportation is not very convenient. There are restrictions on traffic on weekends, and you can't get in by taxi. In the end, we went from the train station to the bus station and took the bus to get in. And even on weekdays, the road in front of the scenic area is easily blocked. There are few shops around. If you don't consider eating in the hotel, you have to walk about 600 meters to the vicinity of Yuewang Temple to find larger restaurants and shops. Because the hotel is in the woods, there will be more or less insects. The hotel's mosquito prevention is good. There were no mosquitoes in the room for a few days, but a spider was found on the bed. The skylight is flat, and a lot of pine needles and dead leaves have fallen on it, so the viewing effect is not very good. Because the room is right next to Quyuan Fenghe, you can see people coming to visit from the house. Although there is some distance, the privacy feels a little worse. The floor to the hotel is made of large and small bricks and stones, and it is a bit of a test of physical strength to bring slippers and boxes in. The floor of the hotel is a bit old, and there will be a creaking sound when you step on it. Summary: The location and view are invincible. The convenience and hygiene are poor. It depends on how you choose.

Just outside the door is the West Lake of Quyuan Fenghe. You can also take a taxi from the roadside of Yanggongdi. It is very convenient to go to Lingyin Temple and Longjing Village.

I found this B&B by accident. The surrounding environment is really great. It's just a short walk to Su Causeway and opposite is the flower garden. The location is really good.

The hotel is in a great location, within the scenic area and very close to every part of the West Lake. Of course, the rooms are relatively small and the facilities are not very new, but the price is relatively cheap.

The location of Lianyu is very good. It is right next to Quyuan Fenghe, and it only takes ten minutes to walk in from Yuemiao Temple. It only took a minute after Yang Gongdi got off the car and walked in. Surrounded by bamboo forests, the environment is beautiful. My boyfriend and I came here a dozen years ago when he first built it, and it was great. More than ten years later, my boyfriend turned into my husband and took my son to visit his hometown again, and he chose Lianyu again. But the living experience this time was really not good, mainly because the house was aging badly and the toilet was clogged. The door was closed the next day, and when I returned to the room at night, the bed was full of small flying insects. My son and I were so frightened that we had to change rooms in the rain all night and were in such a panic. The hotel staff are very helpful and try their best to accommodate any requests we have. Hardware issues are not their problem. I hope the hotel owner can do a major renovation and not waste such a good location.
