Staying at the Manxin Hotel next to Saint Sophia Cathedral was a delightful surprise. The location is truly a prime spot in Daoli District; Sophia Square is just a few steps away, perfect for evening strolls to admire the church's night view. A short walk also takes you to Central Street and various unique shops, eliminating the hassle of constantly taking taxis. This allowed for a wonderfully relaxed pace of exploration. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful; not only was check-in efficient and quick, but they also proactively shared local favorite eateries, helping us avoid overcrowded tourist traps. The room itself was clean and elegant, offering a very relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Harbin, and I would gladly choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Extremely satisfied with my stay! I arrived quite late, and the staff informed me about their late-night congee service. I checked it out and was really impressed by how thoughtful their late-night snack offering was—they had milk, congee, and even small side dishes. It was fantastic. The staff also upgraded my room type for free, and the room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The shower pressure was excellent, and the mattress was super comfortable. Highly recommend!!!

Hotel near Jiangbei Sun Island. City Hall Area,Harbin

First of all, the hotel is easy to find, has private parking, and the staff are attentive, warm, and polite. They even came out to give us a souvenir when we checked out. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a more spacious and clean room with complimentary fruit. The toilet was also smart, and it's close to the Ice and Snow World by car. Everything was great, but why didn't I give it a full five stars? Because the air conditioning was off; there was only an electric heater. In Harbin, where it's below -20 degrees Celsius, the large floor-to-ceiling windows of the upgraded room let in drafts, and the lack of air conditioning was unbelievable. My hands and feet were freezing all night. I'm from Liaoning, and it's worse than my home with its underfloor heating; my home temperature is 26 degrees Celsius, while the hotel was only 21 degrees... Can anyone understand the despair of returning to the hotel after visiting the Ice and Snow World and not daring to take a hot shower?

The room size was sufficient, and the TV actually worked well. The soundproofing was excellent; it was quiet every night, and I couldn't hear the neighbors using their phones or watching TV. The curtains were exceptionally good at blocking out light – the room was still dark at 8:30 AM. The front desk staff were also very friendly; they even asked if I wanted a bottle of water when I checked out. The mini-fridge drinks were free and replenished once consumed. Breakfast was served until 11 AM, which is perfect for late risers. The restaurant isn't huge, but it has everything you need. The freshly made rice noodles (not regular noodles) were smooth and delicious, especially with the spicy meat sauce and vinegar – it really woke up my taste buds. The fried noodles were fragrant and savory, a little firm, just how I like them. I could eat a lot of them; they reminded me of the street food stalls I used to visit in Sanya over ten years ago. For kids, there were small wontons, braised pork rice, and dumplings, all satisfying. The vegetable salad looked visibly fresh, and items were replenished promptly. The small red cakes were delicious; I could easily eat four. All the breakfast options were shown in the pictures. There was plenty for everyone, from young to old, to have a satisfying meal. Of course, those with very high expectations for breakfast might find it a bit lacking, but for this price point, I think it's pretty good.
