Had a three night stay here. Great staff, very good facilities (pool, jacuzzi and sauna but book your slots in busy periods), superb restaurant and a quiet location in the Peak district. Located a mile from Hope up a narrow (ish) track, it is worth the journey. Lots of things to do if you want to get out and about. You can walk from the hotel and get up to Losehill and beyond to Mam tor or just down to the village and river. Very pleasant room (12) with all the amenities you need. Staff very friendly and helpful (many thanks to the night porter for the tea) and the food, both at breakfast and dinner is first class. Very enjoyable stay

If you are looking for a complete getaway from the crazy fast-paced world in which most of us usually live, then Losehill House is your "must-visit" destination. This place is sophisticated and yet very laid back in style. The staff are friendly yet courteous, happy to chat but also wise enough to realise that sometimes guests just want to be left alone. Our spotless room had a very comfortable super-king size bed with beautiful views over this golden valley - the bathroom was spacious and very well appointed. The dining room has the most remarkable view over the surrounding hilld - a distraction from the excellent food and charming service. So yes, the perfect place to get-away, have a swim and a massage and both eat a drink a little too much for a few days. We went home relaxed and very satisfied. Well done to this lovely hotel.

One night stay to celebrate my partner’s birthday. Had a good feeling based on the booking process (I called as had a few queries) but expectations were exceeded and then some. Gorgeous location, immaculate hotel, great team who you must be so proud of. The standard is so high, rooms gorgeous etc but in no way stuffy or too formal - just right. Loved our stay and will be back for a longer trip. Thank you.

A real gem of a find to escape for a few days of country air. Swimming pool and hot tub highlight for the children. Food quality exemplary and service extremely warm.

We returned to Losehill after 10 years...the amazing food, lovely staff and rooms have maintained their quality and it was great to be looked after by Paul, Antonia, Alex, Clare and the very knowledgeable 'barman' (apologies for not getting his name). Exceptional surroundings and location. Thanks

A lovely relaxing weekend which was much needed. A big thank you to the Reception team who were very kind in upgrading us to a beautiful room overlooking the valley. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want to switch off and relax in comfortable surroundings with good food.

Stayed for one night, in the deluxe room. Was such a spacious room, very clean and breathtaking view. Had the spa facilities to ourselves which made it even more special. Can’t say a bad word about this hotel, easy to find, friendly staff, good value. We loved it, will definitely be returning.

We have just returned from an excellent short break at Losehill. We were delighted with the fabric of the hotel, interesting and delicious food but most of all the excellent staff who not only fulfilled their roles but by their demeanours created such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Looking forward to returning.
