This hotel is a little outside Ibbenbueren, so it's good to have a car to be prepared for shopping (not many choices close by) and in case that the in-house restaurant is closed. Across the parking lot, there is an Italian restaurant (Milan) that can be used. Our room was large and had terrace access. Management was friendly and helpful, but, as previous reviewers have stated, not always available. We were part of a large birthday party celebrated on the premises and witnessed 150% commitment from staff who worked hard way into the morning hours to serve food (excellent buffet) and drinks. On the next day, we had a not so pleasant experience with one of their servers in the restaurant (probably a temporary worker) which caused us to dine at the Italian place next door. Sadly, on the following day, the restaurant was closed, which is understandable, since this is a family operation. Breakfast was included and was more than sufficient in quantity and number of choices. One odd think we noticed in the otherwise very good and clean room was that there were no curtains that keeps out the sunlight (5 am in summer).
