We had a suite with living room and kitchenette, which was large and beautiful. Highly recommended if you have kids or are traveling with a group and like to hang out together in the room. Dinner restaurants were fantastic, everybody was always delighted with their meal choices. Pro tip - you can book your dinner reservations before arriving so that you aren’t disappointed during your trip. My biggest critique would be that we found service at the breakfast buffet spotty; some days the wait staff was very inattentive with drinks and clearing plates when we went up to the buffet. I know this sounds spoiled, but it’s disappointing when you have to wait until you’re done breakfast to get your 1st cup of coffee. Other days, service wasn’t as bad, however it was never fantastic. It always felt like the breakfast restaurant needed significantly more staffing. There are also limited options for lunch, so you sometimes wait quite a long time to get your lunch. A lunch buffet or a quick snack area would be appreciated. Other than that, no complaints and overall I do recommend this resort. The beach is great, the pools are warm and inviting, and the grounds are very well kept. The recreation staff is very friendly, and the mixed drinks were great. The value was great for us, as we traveled with two kids, who stayed free.

Staff was quite rude, especially Alberto at the front desk and almost all the servers at the outdoor snack bar close to Davino. Any question we asked they would say it’s not my job go over there or just wanted a tip. Hotel room and pools were great but staff needs a lesson on customer service for sure. Girls at the concierge have bad attitudes and act like they’re doing you a favor. We asked for excursion options and they just push one over and over like there’s only one thing to do in all of cancun. Would never go here again.

We liked the pools and the day time atmosphere. The nightlife was non-existent unless you went next door to Garza. We had issues with the hotel phone and the whirlpool not working on day 1, but was quickly fixed by the next day. Most of the staff was amazing, but there were a few waiters and some of the greeters that seemed more non-personable such as the ones at the morning buffet. We also had a long wait at Davino while seated that lasted over an hour to get our meal, but the waiters were great touching base and apologizing and the manager even came out and made us feel valued. This is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5.

This was hands down the best all inclusive we have been to. We received an amazing upgrade to a 2 bedroom ocean front suite. The service was outstanding and there were always going above and beyond for our daughter with severe food allergies. Caesar at the breakfast buffet was ready for us each morning and always ensured her safety. Armando at Legends was also extremely accommodating! Food at this resort is by far the best we have had and they went above and beyond in all areas. The pools and beach were a hit and we really enjoyed them. The resort was very family friendly.

The pool staff Arad, Angel and activities director Brisa made our stay even more enjoyable than expected. It was my boyfriend's birthday ehile we were there and tge stafg hung banners at our pool umbrellas and made him feel extra special! The room service and staff was impeccable and thorough. Twice daily cleaning, towels and turndown service- amazing! Food in every restaurant was delicious, my favorite was Zamas outdoor dining for lunch and dinner. I would definitely recommend making all dinner reservations as soon as possible- dont wait until the week of arrival as you may not get times that you'd prefer. The beach was very well maintained and offered many shade options. The hotel is literally next door to the Isla Mujeres ferry. Be certain to take a day trip to this little gem. Rent a golf cart just a few blocks into town for $120 for the entire day(not from prople right as you exit ferry ad they are double priced). We cant wait to return to Villa Del Palmer in the very near future!

Concierge staff seemed to be annoyed when asking for information/assistance rather than friendly and helpful. Dining staff, housekeeping, and front desk staff were friendly.

The dining and bar staff were incredibly friendly and service by then was impeccable. Our room was amazing with beautiful views. Truly, very bring went well EXCEPT that my credit card information was stolen and charges were made to an app out of Mexico City. The ONLY place I used this card was to check-in to the hotel for the “hold”(deposit). I went to the reception area and tried to explain this. However; there was no acceptance of responsibly. I was told that the reception staff had all worked there for over a year and no one would steal my information…..I was repeatedly asked if I was sure I didn’t use the card somewhere else upon arrival. I repeatedly stated that the check-in at this resort was the ONLY place I used it. My husband and I had brought cash so we wouldn’t have to use cards. The pesone told me that it was probably hacked in their system. Well, this doesn’t make me feel any better. So, still waiting on my new card as that one had to be cancelled. Thankfully, my bank removed the charges. We made the best of the situation and tried not to allow this to ruin our trip. Just prospect your information because no one will help you.
