The hotel is located a bit farther from the main Shaxi ancient town, but the owners were incredibly accommodating, offering to drive us to and from the town whenever we needed. The surrounding area is mostly agricultural, which I’m sure looks even more picturesque during the right season. Even in winter, it was still quite beautiful. Overall, it was an exceptionally pleasant stay. The room was clean, and the owners were incredibly hospitable. You can even pre-order dinner and enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal right at the hotel, so you don’t have to venture into the ancient town for food. I’m so glad we chose this place—it offers a peaceful escape from the everyday hustle and bustle, and it's a place where you can truly unwind."
