I have been to nearly fifty cities across the country, but I have never seen electric vehicles crossing the road in Kaifeng! At the red light, there is a huge crowd of electric cars, running rampant, and there are people of all ages without helmets. The ancient capital, which was originally rich in history, is surrounded by unfinished buildings and iron houses. The ancient streets and the Qingming Riverside Garden were built in the Song Dynasty. Where has the legacy aesthetic gone? I really feel sad and painful for the ancients! The Song Dynasty was even higher than the Tang Dynasty in terms of humanities and aesthetics! Facing Song Du, I was so ashamed! In order to find a decent place to stay, we drove all over Kaifeng and finally chose this hotel. Facts have proved how wise our choice was! Although the surrounding area of ​​this hotel is also overgrown with weeds, it is not very messy, especially there are no messy people and cars. Because it is connected to the university, there is plenty of room to move around! You can walk around the entire campus. Although the university is in the summer vacation and the hygiene is very poor, the quiet and huge campus with shady trees is a familiar and working environment for me. It is very suitable for us as professors! The hotel is very old. Did Ctrip upgrade it for me? The elegant room is newly decorated in a new Chinese style. It is small in size but quiet, and all office stationery is prepared. What is particularly uncomfortable is the toilet seat. It is too narrow and is only suitable for children. Even a small person like me cannot sit down. How can a man who is 1.89 meters tall use the toilet? The drain in the shower room is too shallow, the quality of the shower head is too poor, and water splashes into the bathroom. The entire bathroom needs to be renovated, and the wall beside the bed has fallen off. We traveled by ourselves, and the surrounding transportation still couldn’t provide a feasible reference!

The hotel is located slightly away, 20 minutes' drive from Qingming Riverside Park. It is recommended that those who need breakfast should try to book a room with breakfast included. The hotel service is good, the room is clean, there is a disinfection cabinet, disinfected sandals and disposable cloth mops, as well as an air purifier, and the equipment is more humane. There was a small problem with the room I booked when I went there. There was no standard double change, so I was given a free upgrade. I originally planned to have a local breakfast in the morning, but there was nothing around. It was past 9 o'clock, and the hotel manager gave two people free breakfast. I recommend staying here.

I stayed at Holiday Inn Express for a total of 7 nights during this trip: 2 nights at Kaifeng Dichen, 2 nights at Luoyang Kaiyuan, 2 nights at Xi'an Bell Tower, and 1 night at Zhengzhou Longzi Lake. Each store provides free breakfast for children. My baby is over 160cm tall. The Luoyang and Zhengzhou stores also upgraded to a 35-square-meter room. The hotel is easy to find. There is a night market snack at the door that is said to be loved by locals. The taste is good and the price is affordable! The hotel has a complete breakfast variety. The spicy soup here is a local specialty. The front desk staff is warm and thoughtful. When checking in, they also sent Kaifeng specialty snacks. Especially the waiters 1, 6 and 8 were attentive and answered all questions. They recommended the surrounding specialties and tasted good. I will stay here again next time if I have the chance. Came here for 3 nights during CNY. Good breakfast buffet (with real coffee) and a decent room for the price. They also have laundry facilities, which was very useful. Near the Old Town. Appreciated one of the staff members helping me get a taxi to KW train station, which was a real ordeal considering the traffic jam we had to deal with.
