Everything and everyone were very accommodating. I don't have any complaints, definitely recommend this hotel. Breakfast could be a little better by changing the frozen omelets but they still offer different options.

I was in Miami with my dog to fly him to Belize. We spent the first two nights at the Candlewood next to the airport which was a fine hotel. My dog’s Amerijet flight was delayed two days so I needed to extend and so I needed to find another dog friendly hotel—the Candlewood in Kendall was available and was $65 per night less expensive than the one next to the airport. Contrary to other review I read, this place was wonderful: clean, quiet and comfortable. The room was huge and everything worked great. No complaints. It is a 30 minute drive to the airport which I did not mind. I highly recommend this hotel!

I needed a clean, quiet place ideally between the Airport and FIU with some extra space and a kitchen. I didn't use the kitchen as much as expected but it was indeed nice to have, and the place was very clean. I had a couple of maintenance items while here which were handled courteously the same day. I also tried out the locker, borrowing a DVD player. It worked great. As for noise, you can indeed hear airplanes very well from inside the room. I was never awakened by them and note that fewer fly during the night. Several restaurants are an easy walk from here, so I tried Venezuelan food and Lebanese, both really good. There is no Safe in the room.

The hotel was nice, staff were nice, and the breakfast was OK. Since we were in our rooms for most of the morning when staff cleaned, we didn't get our rooms cleaned during the 3 day stay. When we asked for clean washcloths, there weren't any. We were given hand towels instead. The location isn't the best, but I liked that it was within walking distance to the shopping center with Target. Other than this, it was a good stay.

A bit biased around, but it is convenient to take a taxi, the room is clean, the toilet is a nozzle, not a shower, there is a refrigerator and microwave in the room, the heating can be adjusted, with a simple American breakfast, the staff is friendly

We had a great stay. The hotel is next to major roads if you are going to downtown Miami or elsewhere. The breakfast included was basic, and with high quality products and offerings. The one observation is that you have to request room cleaning service 24-hrs in advance or they won't come to clean the bathroom and empty trash cans. I was fine with not changing sheets and towels everyday for eco-friendly reasons, but I would suggest the front-desk to remind guests of this cleaning-upon-request. However, when we did ask for room cleaning the day before we left, the front desk graciously made that happen that same day. I will stay there again on my next trip.

I am reading some ugly reviews that may be unfair and based on unreasonable expectations. First, if you're expecting Las Vegas then maybe you should go to Las Vegas. If you want a great getaway and a lovely room at an affordable price and fun gaming this is it. I was on my way home from a flight into FLL and I was very tired and the GPS reported an hour and a half accident on the way home to Key West. At that moment I was approaching The Miccosukee Resort & ****** and I recalled what they did during Hurricane Irma for myself and many others. We were allowed to camp on a carpeted mezzanine (the rooms were full) and they gave us linens and pillows and treated us as if we were paying guests. I spent four nights until there was finally gasoline available to drive away. With a heart full of gratitude I swore I was coming back as a patron as I remembered the hospitality I was given and at no cost to me. Well this was the perfect time to check myself in. When I opened the door to the room I was so pleased that I decided to extend my vacation and I went back to the front desk to book another night. I did this again and again until I had stayed for four nights; I enjoyed the place that much. The accommodations were clean and just refreshing. The people that work at this resort were wonderful to me. I enjoyed being there so much that I am planning to go back in May and I am bringing a friend. To a few of the authors of some bad reviews I've read I'm wondering what you were looking for because personally I don't expect a five star hotel for under $200 a night. And one review even suggests the slots are set so they are hard to win so my guess is that if you think ANY ****** has games that are designed to win you may be tripping. I give this place five stars because I had a five star experience. It appears that the bad reviews are also the ones that were at least two years old and perhaps they've made some improvements; I do not know. I am inclined to defend this resort not only for my recent visit which was outstanding but too for the kindness they extended to me freely (literally) in the past when they were not obligated to do so. Honestly, I am not a seasoned gambler nor have I been to Vegas but my visit was excellent even if there had been no gambling available. I have decided since the drive is less than three hours away and less expensive than my typical vacation that I will be going there often. Thank you Miccosukee ❤️!!!

Hotel location is good parking, breakfast is nothing to eat, hotel room equipment is very old

We were on our way to South America and spent 1 night at this hotel. At check-In Hugo greeted us with a warm smile and he exhibited efficiency and professionalism which caught our attention and thorough pleased us. We rented a car and while on the way back, there was a detour which caused our gps system to go crazy. We called Hugo and he led us back from 20 mins away. Once we got back, he greeted us like family. The rooms were comfortable and the beds allowed us to sleep soundly. The room was very clean. The business center was very useful to us. If you don’t feel like being super close to the airport or downtown, this is the place for you - you will not regret your stay.
