Family-friendly Hotels in Kuala Lumpur

Location is perfect. Monorail / train is short walking distance. Pelita Nasi Kandar is across. KLCC is only a few minutes walk away. The room is spacious. View from room is nice. Can enjoy the Menara 118 and the heavy traffic jam in the rain :p Grab is easy. Hop on hop off Stop No.1 is across where the Tourism Malaysia / Saloma Bistro is. Didn’t get the hotel breakfast because breakfast is easy to find nearby. Overall is such a great stay. Would stay again for the next staycation in KL :)

Beautiful room, lots of space in the room, view of other hotels, walking distance to the train station, very close to everything - about 2-3 miles away from popular attractions, limited amentities, no comb, no shaver… beautiful lobby, check in took quite long because only 1 guy at the check in desk, other than that, everything is fine…

I recently stayed here for 4 nights as a first-time solo female traveler and had an overall positive experience. My room was very clean and spacious for one person, with a great view and a comfortable bed that made it easy to relax. The air conditioning was strong and kept the room at a perfect temperature, while the hot water and water pressure in the shower were consistently good. The staff were friendly and polite, always ready to help with any questions. A few minor issues came up during my stay: the TV channels had a tendency to glitch, and I had to call a technician multiple times, especially after turning the TV off. If you're using Grab, be prepared for some delays as the road in front of the hotel is usually busy. The location is a bit of a walk (12-14 minutes) from the nearest LRT station, so if you enjoy walking like I do, it's not a big deal; otherwise, it might feel a bit far. The lobby can feel crowded since it’s on the smaller side, and while the breakfast is decent, I’d love to see a bit more variety, and quicker replenishing of items would be nice too. Overall, a good choice if you’re looking for a comfortable, clean room with friendly service!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at DoubleTree, and I can't praise it enough! The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Plus, the staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. One of the best parts? The hotel is just a stone's throw away from the iconic KL Twin Towers. It was fantastic to be so close to such a famous landmark. *5/5 Stars* We had an incredible 4D3N stay at the ParkRoyal Collection Kuala Lumpur! From the moment we checked-in to our King Lifestyle Room, we knew we were in for a treat. The room itself was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a stunning city view that we never got tired of. The side sofa was a lovely touch, providing a comfortable spot to relax and take in the sights. We also appreciated the extra duvet provided, which ensured a cozy and restful sleep. The daily housekeeping service was impeccable, with our room always neat and tidy, and nothing ever missing. We were impressed by the attention to detail and the staff's commitment to ensuring our stay was comfortable and hassle-free. The hotel's location is super convenient, with numerous malls within walking distance or a short drive away. We loved being able to explore the city's shopping and dining scene with ease. But what really made our stay special was the thoughtful touches. We had booked two rooms to celebrate a birthday, and the hotel surprised us with birthday decorations and a complimentary cake in BOTH rooms! It was such a lovely gesture, and we felt truly appreciated as guests. Last but not least, the bell boy service was top-notch. Our luggage and shopping goods were always handled with care, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Expected for the price paid. Furniture could really do with updating. Bathroom can be cleaner. Water pressure like waterfall 👍🏾 but heater seems not working. Wifi is slow but maybe due to room at the end of the corridor. Walking distance to Lalaport mall. Staff during check is pleasant. Check out express--go to check out key drop box near lobby exit.

had a very good experience at this hotel. Staff were friendly and gave an upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite (due to the ascott membership). Breakfast and lunch buffets were reasonably priced and delicious. The hotel is a 5 min drive/cab away from KLCC and Pavillion areas. Rooms were clean and spacious. Pool is awesome!

I booked a two room apartment with kitchen for two nights. The price was super expensive but i dont think it is something worth it. The access to pavilion needs to walk around a huge dangerous busy road with the non functional traffic light, unlike banyan tree which has its own linked bridge. In the map it looks near to pavilion but in reality you will sweat a lot before arriving pavilion. During the hotel check out, the line was long and the check in / check out sign was confusing with 3 lanes. There was sign for check in and check out but people scattered check in and out everywhere. Some people just cut the queue and the lady at the counter letting them cutting queue. Not sure why nobody monitor or making the process easier. I dont think i will book again here to waste money to have a bad experience for my holiday. Quite sad experience.
