"Location was great, being next to KLCC. Service was impeccable and I truly felt like I was in a luxurious hotel. All the service staff were amazing. Amenities given were complete and of quality, including the bedroom slippers and bathrobe! There was turndown service and housekeeping even gave me extra notepad when they noticed I’ve used quite a few pages of the notepad. I love their attention to detail. Buffet breakfast was average - lots of carbs and lacking in meat and veg, but is still considered comprehensive. Tower room view was of the bottom half of the twin towers even though we were already at level 27 due to height difference. Unable to see the full tower view unless we stand at the window!"

"We had looked forward to this new and upscale property from Hyatt especially on New Year’s Eve. Overall, it was a pleasant stay high in the clouds, breakfast was great, room was well appointed. Staff were super friendly, hopefully this is maintained out of the genuine warmth and service to every guest. However, we were quickly brought down to reality when our room had a power trip - twice on the same night. Our room was changed to another by the kind AFOM. Service was prompt and professional despite the festivities in the hotel that night. We hope to have the opportunity to stay at the Park Hyatt KL in future."

"I stayed at Crockfords Hotel Genting in early October 2025 and was genuinely disappointed by the level of service — especially for a hotel that claims to be Malaysia’s leading luxury property. On 3 October, I approached the concierge Duty Manager around 9:40am regarding the hotel Wi-Fi, which kept showing an “invalid credentials” error. Instead of taking the initiative to verify the problem — which turned out to be something as simple as incorrect login details given at check-in — he insisted that the IT team would need to come into my room to fix it. Later in the day, another staff member resolved the issue within minutes by simply checking the credentials. It’s baffling how the Duty Manager couldn’t do something that basic. Throughout my stay, I also noticed that many of the staff seemed lost and unsure of how to handle simple situations — almost like the blind leading the blind. There was a clear lack of coordination and communication among them. The breakfast experience was another major letdown. I had breakfast there for three consecutive days, and throughout, the food was never hot — the noodles in soup were the only consistently warm item served. To make matters worse, the staff did not communicate properly among themselves. On one morning, we were told to wait while a table by the window was being cleared for us. After waiting a good five minutes, another group of guests was allowed to take the exact table we were waiting for. The explanation given was simply that “the other guests wanted the table.” Completely unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed calibre. The only saving grace was the Duty Manager working on 5 Oct and overseeing the breakfast buffet, who was attentive, proactive, and took the initiative to check if guests needed drinks or assistance. His professionalism truly stood out amidst the confusion elsewhere. For a hotel that boasts winning the Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star Award seven years in a row, this experience was frankly a joke. The gap between Crockfords’ reputation and its actual service standards is staggering. Truly disappointing and nowhere near what one would expect from a so-called luxury hotel. PS: At least the view was great."

"The Four Seasons, as always, is excellent. I'm very satisfied with my choice of accommodation. It's about a 15-minute drive from the city center, but the commercial area right outside the hotel is already very convenient, with plenty of food, shopping, and drinks available. The breakfast was incredibly rich; I stayed for two consecutive days and found 20% of the dishes were different each day, which was a pleasant surprise. I'll definitely choose the Four Seasons again on my next visit. The service is exceptional, and the hygiene is top-notch. Remember to bring your swimsuit and don't miss the swimming pool on the seventh floor!"

"I had high expectation prior to staying this hotel as it should be beyond 5 star hotel. After arriving the hotel later than expected, I would like to do quick check-in, dropping my luggages and having another meeting. However I was told to wait as there were other guests waiting for check-in. I don’t understand why they could have more check-in counters instead of 2 only. I came back later, everything was ok. I was asked whether I would like to have something to drink in my room and I asked for tea, and not delivered. In morning, I would like to have coffee in my room, unfortunately the coffee maker machine was out of order. I had to call butler for a mug of coffee. However, this issue was fixed during the day. Breakfast was ok but the place is crowded. After checkout, I requested a shuttle service to KL Sentral Station (actually it is walking distance), I was told it will be 10 minutes, again I have waited for 30 minutes until one of the staffs noticed and called the van. Overall the hotel was great but my experience with services from this hotel was far disappointed."

"First, the positives: the food was okay, up to standard, and the hotel staff had a great service attitude. Now for the negatives: the power outlets in the room were poorly maintained; plugs wouldn't stay in, making them practically useless. When I called for an adapter, they made me sign a receipt for something worth 30 MYR. The phone's call quality was poor, with a loose plug and a lot of noise. The window's sound insulation was bad; even on the 15th floor, I could clearly hear motorcycles passing by on the road, which disrupted my sleep."

"After staying at Banyan Tree Phuket, I've grown to love the brand. This Banyan Tree in Kuala Lumpur has an excellent location, with a direct covered walkway to Pavilion Mall. In the evenings, they diffuse essential oils, which really adds to the holiday vibe. Breakfast is à la carte, ensuring quality. The room views are superb, offering a panoramic view of all the iconic landmarks. When I went to the gym at night, I was planning to check out the pool, which faces the Petronas Towers – it's absolutely stunning. However, I had an unpleasant experience with the service. I booked the room over a month in advance, but the front desk informed me there were no king-sized beds available and wanted to put us in a twin room, suggesting we change rooms the next day. There was no apology or acknowledgment of their mistake. I clearly stated that customers shouldn't have to bear the consequences of their operational errors and demanded a proper resolution. Only after I repeatedly refused their unreasonable proposal did they upgrade us to a suite with a king-sized bed. Although the hotel apologized afterward, this initial experience was very disappointing, as their approach and attitude to handling the problem from the beginning were completely wrong."

"This is a wonderful resort hotel, my third time staying here. The staff are helpful, friendly and attentive. The room is comfortable and very clean. Everything we needed was provided. We found the down feather pillows not to our liking and they were quickly replaced with one of our choice amongst a long list of pillow options. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool, the gym and sauna. They were exceptionally good. We also enjoyed our fine dining breakfast at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant. The buffet breakfast is also great, with a huge selection. The hotel is connected to the mall with lots of shops and restaurants, so easy to get to regardless of the weather conditions."

"Despite a late check-in, I received a very warm and professional welcome from the front desk, which immediately made me feel at ease. The room was extremely clean, quiet, and comfortable—perfect for resting before a flight. The shower had strong, consistent water pressure, which was a big plus. I had an early check-out to catch my flight, and the free shuttle service to the terminal was very well organized. Although there was a short queue, it moved very quickly. The driver was friendly, helpful, and courteous, making the transfer smooth and stress-free. Overall, a great stay. I will definitely choose Sama-Sama Hotel KLIA again for my future flights."

"Friendly staff. The room is apartment-style. Parking rates are reasonable too. From the lobby, we were taken by buggy even though it’s quite close, still okay, no need to walk while dragging luggage. However, when we entered the room, there was a strong musty smell. That was the only thing that spoiled it. Everything else was fine."
