Dianchi Lake offers expansive views and picturesque scenery; Dounan Flower Market, with its wide variety and affordable prices, makes it easy to buy as many flowers as you wish. Kunming Old Street exudes historical charm, with its distinctive bluestone paths and ancient architecture. I sampled local specialties like Guandu Baba and Roasted Erkuai, and savored the slow pace of life while enjoying tea at a teahouse. Despite the brevity of my trip, it was incredibly rewarding. What truly enhanced my experience was staying at a wonderfully comfortable hotel. Its charming, rustic architecture and attentive service were exceptional. The staff greeted me warmly every time I came and went, and were always ready to assist. For instance, when I accidentally spilled coffee, they resolved the issue quickly and without any fuss. The hotel's location was incredibly convenient, being very close to the Old Street and Cuihu Lake, which saved a lot of sightseeing time. I even asked the front desk for travel recommendations, which they thoughtfully compiled and sent to me. I've truly fallen in love with this city and hope to return to experience its charm in different seasons. 🤗🤗🤗🥰

I recently spent two nights at this accommodation, and while there were not many foreigners around, I still found it to be a decent experience. Upon arrival, I received a coupon, which was a nice touch, but I found that the minimum spending requirement made it less useful for solo travelers like myself. I had requested a bottom bunk but ended up with a top one, and I found the bed to be quite hard. However, the provided curtains added a nice level of privacy. On the plus side, they offer lockers, towels, and slippers, which is convenient. The bathroom, however, could use a bit more attention as it needed cleaning, and I noticed that the shower had a leak. Overall, considering the price, I can't really complain too much. The staff at the front desk were friendly and spoke English, which made communication easy. Just a heads-up: there are two flights of stairs, and you'll need to walk through the restaurant/bar area to access the lift to the rooms. All in all, it’s a budget-friendly option that meets basic needs!

We stayed here for three nights. It's a charming and beautiful boutique hotel. The room's soundproofing was quite good, and the hygiene was impressive. Although the front desk staff's attitude at check-in was very poor, the lobby manager, who happened to be nearby, noticed the situation and promptly resolved it. We were also given a complimentary gift bag upon departure, which was much appreciated! **Suggestions for Improvement:** 1. The breakfast menu could definitely use some improvement. They should consider adding more meat dishes, as currently, there isn't much to eat besides a bowl of noodles. The restaurant itself is quite small, leading to wait times during busy periods. Optimizing the table and chair layout could significantly increase seating capacity. 2. I didn't participate in the afternoon tea, but I noticed some guests carrying fruit and prawn crackers to eat by the rooftop pool. Given that seating on the rooftop is already limited, I hope the hotel can enforce better management. Just a few days ago, at the Shangri-La in Shenzhen, guests wearing hotel slippers into the restaurant were stopped, but here, such behavior in the restaurant seems to be largely ignored by the staff. 3. The elevator wait times are definitely long. Two elevators are simply not enough for the hotel. Once you're upstairs, you almost don't want to come down because you know you'll have to wait so long for an elevator again. 4. While the hotel's location *seems* convenient for reaching various places, in reality, getting around by foot or car actually consumes a surprising amount of time. 5. The exhaust fan in the bathroom is practically ineffective. The lingering smell of a previous guest's smoking in the toilet area was very strong and wouldn't dissipate. Although the hotel did come to address it later, which helped a lot, I hope they can improve the exhaust fan's performance in the future.

This is a historic, vintage-style hotel. The location is superb, right at the main entrance of Cuihu Park. Kunming Old Street is just 1 km away and easily reachable on foot, with the route dotted with popular photo-op spots. While the hotel's facilities are a bit dated, they contribute to its historical charm. The service from this established hotel was absolutely impeccable. From the moment we stepped out of the car at the entrance, through check-in, and all the way to our room, a dedicated staff member was with us. We were quite touched, even a little embarrassed, that an elderly gentleman insisted on pushing our luggage all the way to our room. Upon check-in, we were offered peach gum and white fungus soup, floral cookies, and fresh fruit. The buffet breakfast was also quite varied. Several well-known mushroom hot pot restaurants are also conveniently located just outside the hotel, within easy walking distance. Highly recommended.

Stay in elegant room. Location is perfect and close to shops and foods. Room is clean and shower water runs very strong. Staffs are friendly and helpful even we don't speak same language. Each day 9.30 pm has free flow evening snacks such as porridge with many varieties of toppings as well bun. Will come back again and very RECOMMENDED

I stayed for 4 nights and was very satisfied, so I extended my stay for another three nights. The front desk staff kindly informed me that booking online was cheaper than booking directly and that I could even keep my original room. They also gifted me some fruit and delicious snowflake crisps. The room windows had screens, making it easy to ventilate the room. The bathroom was clean, and the hairdryer was compact and effective. I particularly liked the good quality shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel with their pleasant tea fragrance, which were mild and non-irritating to the skin. There were plenty of wooden hangers in the wardrobe, along with a safe and a mini-fridge. Several full-length mirrors were convenient for trying on clothes. The buffet breakfast was exceptionally plentiful, and the hours from 6 AM to 10 AM were conveniently long. The restaurant itself was spacious, bright, beautifully decorated, and clean. The hotel's surroundings were beautiful, with the stunning Cuihu Lake just outside the entrance. The area was dotted with shops, making it convenient for dining and shopping. Taxis were also easily accessible.

The hotel's location is super convenient, close to all the attractions, and there's no shortage of places to eat, drink, and shop nearby. The attention to detail is exceptional; the room is clean and tidy, and even the bathroom is odor-free. The quality is great, and the facilities are comprehensive. The front desk service is also excellent. It feels as comfortable as staying at home. I'll definitely come back next time! Thumbs up! 👍

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff. What’s even more convenient is that it’s adjacent to a subway station, making it incredibly easy to get around. The staff were all very friendly, cheerful, and always willing to help with anything I needed. A special mention goes to Da Er, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their professionalism and warm attitude made my experience even better. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for great service, a prime location, and convenience. Highly recommended!
