The hotel's location is excellent, just a 400-meter walk from Kunming Station, making it super convenient for catching an early high-speed train. The room was surprisingly spacious, around 45 square meters, and even came with a tea table. They also provided an ample supply of bottled water, which was a nice bonus. Overall, it was very comfortable. The front desk staff were polite and the room was clean and tidy. A great experience with good value for money.

This hotel offers a fantastic stay and great value for money. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the environment was kept very clean—plus, the free-to-use washing machine was a huge convenience. The service was exceptional: staff called me before I arrived to offer a shuttle from the train station. Since my train was arriving sooner than they could get there, they kindly instructed me to take a taxi and fully reimbursed the fare upon my arrival. They also provided a complimentary drop-off back to the station when I checked out. Both the front desk and cleaning staff were incredibly polite. Highly recommended!

This was my first stay at the Yuntong Hotel, and while I had some reservations after reading reviews online, all my concerns were completely gone after checking in. First off, the staff were incredibly friendly and the check-in process was very quick. The hotel also has an elevator, which is a big plus. I booked a room with a window, and it was well-equipped and I was very satisfied with it—no strange odors, and a simple yet elegant decor. The overall experience was great, the price was reasonable, and it offers excellent value for money. It's also very close to Kunming Station, and there are a few snack shops on the way there where you can grab breakfast. Overall, I'm very pleased. I'll definitely stay at Yuntong Hotel again next time I'm in Kunming.

The front desk staff were warm and efficient. We got an upgrade to a better room, which offered even more beautiful views of Kunming. The breakfast was a real local treat, with delicious grilled Erkuai, steamed Ersi, rice noodles, and Xidoufen (pea jelly). The cakes sold in the lobby were also very tasty and reasonably priced, with a buy-one-get-one-free offer after 6 PM. The only downside was that the room facilities were a bit old, but that's understandable for an older five-star hotel. It's only a 10-minute walk from Kunming Station. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kunming.

There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making dining and shopping super easy. The room had an expansive view of the city streets, which was incredibly relaxing to come back to after a long day. The front desk also offered travel advice and recommended some truly authentic local sights and food. Overall, the experience was fantastic and added so many wonderful memories to my trip. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

The staff in Ibis, the receptionists, the cleaning staff and even the breakfast meal providers, all did a Greta job in ensuring that our stay was comfortable. They were very knowledgeable about the attractions in Kunming and around Kunming and they were very polite and helpful with us throughout our stay. Keep it up!

Centrally located, this hotel offers a quiet retreat despite being in the heart of the city. Its excellent location makes it incredibly convenient for dining, entertainment, and sightseeing, with Nanping Old Street and Kunming Old Street just a short walk away. The hotel provides 24-hour butler service and a self-service laundry room. The bathroom in the room features a convenient wet and dry separation. Plus, the hotel offers a delicious and nutritious breakfast.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel, especially the beautifully preserved ancient architecture, which gave the place a unique charm and character. The room was thoughtfully furnished with a wonderful colour scheme, and every detail—from the lighting to the overall layout—was well designed and comfortable. Cleanliness was excellent throughout the hotel. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and they kindly showed us the room with the bathtub, which immediately confirmed our decision to extend our stay for another night. We also loved spending time in the courtyard and appreciating the landscaping, which added to the calm and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, this boutique hotel perfectly met our needs for relaxation and for appreciating traditional architecture and courtyard design.

Facilities: The hotel is newly renovated, and the 'robot' (likely referring to automated features or a specific design element) isn't showing much wear and tear yet. My only minor gripe is that the two elevators aren't synchronized, which can slow down travel to and from rooms. Hygiene: Excellent. There were no obvious stains even in hidden corners. Environment: Being close to the train station, there's a bit of noise if you don't close the windows at night, though this might have been amplified because of New Year's Day. The surrounding area is fantastic with lots of street food, delicious fresh flower cakes, and rice noodles. There are even late-night supper options. The nearest subway station isn't far, and getting to the airport directly by subway and then a quick taxi ride is very convenient. You can also take a bus from the train station to get to Green Lake Park and its surroundings, which is quite handy. Service: Front desk staff member Xiao He called me in advance to ask about my room preferences. She arranged a higher-floor room close to the elevator, laundry room, and gym. They also provided a generous welcome fruit platter and even handed out small red envelopes on New Year's Day, which was a nice touch.

Chose this hotel cause it's near the train station where I was arriving from Lijiang. In fact the ride was shorter than the time we spent waiting for the car amidst the traffic at the train station. Room is a good size even for 2 and all you need is provided for. The bed and pillow is firm the way I like it. Not many food options around but with food delivery this is not a problem. The hotel has a robot to send deliveries right to your room door. Bathroom is a good size, water pressure is great. My room also came with smart voice-control which offers great convenience in the room. Service is excellent, they took my requests seriously, arranged for a room accordingly and even called to check that all was good. We were warmly welcomed with fresh fruits at check in. Then at check out, the hotel also gave a goodie bag as farewell gift. Thankful to 小叶 for her help too. Great value for this price.
