Hotels in Kunming Changshui International Airport, Kunming

The hotel is located in a small town, conveniently close to Changshui Airport. The rooms are compact but spotless. The front desk service was excellent, and there are plenty of convenient dining options nearby. A major highlight is their fantastic free airport shuttle service. Both pick-up and drop-off were incredibly punctual. With a drive of only about 10 minutes, it's ideal for transit passengers.

Good value for money for those who need a hotel near the airport in late hours. Each unit is a standalone cabin with a bedroom, a small living room, and a bathroom. The air conditioner is located in the living room and there is no air conditioner in the bedroom. So the room to the bedroom has to be left open to get the cool air. This can be a bit of a problem as there is no blind on the main entrance door, making it a bit bright in the room. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Overall, it is good value for money and we may stay here again if needed.

I chose this hotel based on a friend's recommendation, primarily because of its convenient location near the airport and the complimentary shuttle service. The room was exceptionally clean, and I was very satisfied with all the amenities, particularly the Xiao Ai smart speaker. Getting to the city center also turned out to be much easier than I'd anticipated; a direct taxi ride costs less than 10 RMB, and connecting to the subway is quick.

What an experience! Like something out of a romance novel, from the extravagant entrance, to the sweeping stair cases, to the Louis 16th furniture, including artwork, gilt edges, romance and comfort... it had the lot. The Spa facilities were amazing. Pools, pools and more pools! Manicured grassed areas, intimate treed walkways, arches, marble, stone, statues, ponds and fountains. Just delightful. The staff were amazing as well. No English at reception, but they were quick with the translators. Definitely felt like a queen at this place. Location was a bit strange...half way between city centre and airport, the surrounds were primarily industrial, and main attractions were about 20 minutes away by Didi, but the price to convenience ratio was still good. Definitely recommend it, even if just for the furnishings!

Environment: There is nothing to say about the environment. I enjoy sitting quietly in the yard drinking tea. Service: The guy is very nice. He responds to any questions in a timely manner and takes the initiative to help with luggage. Cleanliness: When I went there, I happened to see a new four-piece suit being replaced, and the cleaning was done very quietly. The breakfast made by aunt is also very good.

Overall, the check-in experience was quite good. Although the lady who answered the phone when I called to inquire about early check-in on the first day was not very enthusiastic, she must have been tired from the night shift, which is understandable. The guy who checked me in was very nice and considerate. He brought water as soon as possible and handled it quickly. During the check-in process, I was disturbed by the cars and people downstairs. I gave feedback and the response was pretty good. Overall, I was very satisfied~

We had a short stay between flight. We have chosen the Country Inn and Suites and found out that it was formerly a Jinjang Inn with the well known set-up of the former chain. It has nothing in common with a Country Inn Suites as encountered in the US or i Europe. The hotel area is in a distance of less than 10 kms from the airport. There are many hotels of the same type and great variety of restaurants just a few steps away. . The hotel rooms are of good size. The room and the bathroom were clean. The beds are super comfortable. WiFi was working without any problem, but with the usual restriction that foreign internet services could not be reached. No English speaking person was present, but to facilitate was called from a neighbouring hotel.. The breakfast is very basic and not much can be found to the taste of Western clients. The pick-up from the airport did not materialise. After 45 minutes we called for a Didi taxi. I recommend this hotel for a night in transit but definite not for visiting Kunming.

Airport pick-up and drop-off were incredibly convenient, and the robot delivered water very promptly. Overall, it was a fantastic stay! I'd love to come back if I get the chance. Oh, and to top it off, they even gifted us a box of flower pastries upon check-in, which we completely devoured as a late-night snack. The building outside my window was quite distinctive. On the way to the airport, I asked the shuttle driver what it was, but he didn't know either – I have a hunch it might be an exhibition hall.

Very highly recommended. Out of the 3 five stars hotels I have stayed in during my trip, this was the best hotel to stay in. Super comfortable, very clean. My mum who is particular in cleanliness remarked that it was very clean and their bathroom glass windows were sparkling, (this was one of the probably the neglected areas that other hotels would missed out but not Double tree Hilton). Too bad that I only managed to stay in for half a day as I needed to wake up early to head to the airport. But this was a fabulous place to rest and end my trip to Kunming. They provided transport to the airport too and it's about 15 mins ride there. Love it.

Very satisfied with this stay! The hotel is near the airport and the transportation is convenient. It is very suitable for catching the plane the next day. The hotel also has a free pick-up and drop-off service. The lobby design is very stylish, the room is clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, the sound insulation effect is also very good, completely ensuring the quality of sleep. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the spare parts are complete. The front desk staff was warm and efficient and took the initiative to help upgrade the room type; the room service responded quickly and the cleaning was very meticulous. There is also an air purifier in the room, very safe! I will definitely choose here again next time I come to Kunming and I will recommend it to my friends!
