I’ll start by saying this has got to be one of the best hotel’s we’ve stayed in Turkey. Must say when we arrived we didn’t think we were going to have the great time as we did, food was great staff always helpful, shop keeper don’t know his name really helpful, entertainment team great special mention to Adam think it was his first week but always willing to try new activities, we emailed the hotel before we arrived asking for a room with a pool view which they gladly obliged great sun on the balcony all afternoon. Would definitely recommend and return to this hotel. Also met some lovely people, like we said would definitely return.

So why nearly??? because I write this 12 days into our 2 week stay ! We have had (so far) a great holiday and not looking forward to it to end. We were nervous having read the reviews but in reality you cannot complain. If you want to pay for 3 star... then Marbel hits the spot ! If you want 5 star then you'll want Marbella !!. So... here we go ! Food - for us has hit the spot. What more do people want ? We are in TURKEY ! dont ecpect full english breakfast, pie or cod & chips. What you get are local dishes and an smazing salad / dessert bars. The bread is soooo fresh, soups delicious and I havr to disagree with one review, the food is definately hot. Yes there could be improvements like the toaster but the staff work relentlessly. They are friendly and helpful and not intrusive. The head chef always out checking food temperature and availability. In the morning, lovely omlettes and fried eggs. You want English, try fried egg and beans on toast !. Great selection of cereals and fruit, turkish delights and pastries. Well done restaurant staff.... i give you 5 stars. Pool staff, again the place is spotless, WE leave mess not the staff, take back and despose of your own rubbish. The pool area very clean and there is an issue with reserving sunbeds, but again not the staffs fault. I hold my hands up, i was up early but i awake early and enjoy an early morning read. Most beds were used by those throughout the day but you will always get a mindless few. Ask the staff and they brought out extra beds. The pool very clean and welcoming. The bar staff.... my kids, again well done we loved you all. Always pleasant happy to try and converse in English. Let md say ghis, we are in Turkey, they are not obliged to speak perfect English but they try. Do as we do, try learning a few Turkish words, hello / thank you wouldnt go amiss. Bella, her husband, Adam done a great job dntertaining with limited resource. Even Adam joined us for lunch a number of times to perfect his english. The management always present and approachable so well done there guys. Hotel is a 15min walk, an easy walk to the town where you can get everything you require. Finally.... i know i can go on. A HUGE thank you to the guests ! It you that has made this special. We have met loads of fantastic people, Stu and his Scottish family, John and his wife, Scott and his family, Polly & Richard, Trudy & hubby to name just a few. It has been our pleasure to enjoy your company. Marbel, for 3 star and cost effective getaway, be proud in what you offer. Thank you to the whole team.

I was in room 509 & arrived back homr 10th June 24. OK, I'll start by saying this was a last minute holiday booked through Jet2, mainly because it was my Turkish God-son's 21st birthday and he was going into the army to do his national service at the end of June. Also worth mentioning that I've been to Turkey 30+ times, and to Kusadasi 9 times, staying at many of the AI resorts in the town. I'll start with the positives. 1) The staff are helpful and friendly. 2) Ideally located for the indoor market (clothing on Wednesdays) 3) They have watermelon the in restaurant. 4) The bar is only open until 11pm, no no drunken/loutish behaviour. The negatives A) The hotel is uninspiring from the outside. B) It's not close to a beach. C) There's only one chair on the balcony and no table (even when travelling alone there have always been 2 & ALWAYS a table) D) There is no kettle in the room E) Only 1 large bottle of water in the fridge (ALL others hotels experienced in Kushadasi have had soft drinks that are restocked). If you want more bottled water here you have to pay for it. F) No seperate ice area in fridge. G) The shower has no shelving meaning that your gel/shampoo goes on the floor. H) There's no grab rail in the shower (esp important given point G and that many guests were elderly/inform) I) The fit and finish of the sanitary ware leaves a lot to be desired. J) The music in the restaurant is atrocious, just instrument smooth jazz that is really quite depressing. I like jazz but for between 14-20 visit in a week I heard others complain about it. I spoke to the manager about it but of course nothing was done. 😞 K) There's no bookshelf to leave your finished books or toiletries you don't need for others to make use of. In my case rhe balcony door when closed, wouldn't open again, meaning I had to sleep with the door ajar. This meant sleep was difficult due the noise of dogs barking. Can you imagine locking yourself outside!? 😲 🫨 In summary I shall return to Kusadasi, (Ive already booked my next Kushadasi trip for Sept) just not thos hotel.

I have just returned from the Palm wings Marbel hotel in Kusadasi this morning and I had a fantastic stay for two weeks ,The room was small but comfortable ,cleaned almost every day with clean white towels whenever you needed them .The pool area was spotless and bar staff were amazing and friendly it’s hard to pick out a favourite member of staff ,drinks were fine and in plentiful supply the dining room staff were amazing too and were all super friendly and very efficient and professional ,The only downfall was the food it was shocking, the choice off hot food was dreadful and most of it was cold and the fries were freezing ,I told the lady who was on duty and she went and got hot fries and put them on Top of the cold ones ,not acceptable I know they don’t like waste but this has to be addressed because it could have serious consequences.I would like to say a massive thank you to Kadir who worked in the dining room who was great listening to our concerns about the food .I cannot praise the staff in the hotel enough they were all brilliant ,but the food would have to be vastly improved before I would return .

The hotel is lovely. It does exactly what it says on the tin. The staff are also really nice. Especially Bella and her husband that make up the animation team. We really struggled with the language barrier and not many staff knew even very basic English which I thought was a little odd. One thing in particular I found really bad was the food. It literally made us ill so we had to stop eating there which was a shame as we’d paid to go all inclusive and hadn’t really considered the cost of eating out because of this. The pool was also unbearably cold too which again I found odd. It’s also in quite a rough area and I absolutely wouldn’t advise walking anywhere alone. The locals aren’t the nicest and most honest people and will do anything to anyone for a bit of money so be careful of scams/thieves etc. there’s also a huge presence of stray animals which is really heartbreaking but of course nobodies fault

We booked this as a last minute (bargain priced) get away for some sunshine! We read the mixed reviews and were a bit wary. We didn’t need to be. We had a brilliant week. The staff are lovely - and very helpful. The pool was clean and never over crowded. There were activities throughout the day and evening which everyone of all ages joined in with. The rooms were clean and did the job. The air conditioning in the room was a blessing in the evening. The location doesn’t look much but is a short walk to everywhere- I ventured out to the local shops on foot (about 10 mins walk). There is also a large supermarket close by (where I bought cheap bits for the teenager!) and a store in the hotel. There are lots of excursions on offer too. I liked the food, although others didn’t. I’d say it’s more suited to the non fussy adult! There is a large selection of salads, cold meats and cheeses. Wide range of deserts and hot selection at both lunch and dinner times. The pool side snack bar was a hit with burgers etc. The ice creams by the pool was also a plus! The bar is well stocked and has soft, alcoholic and hot drinks available. This is definitely a 3-4 star experience, but is great value for money and a comfortable holiday.

First time for me in Turkey, my partner had been some 30 odd years ago, and first time for me with all inclusive. We were more than a bit apprehensive about this hotel, due mainly, to the mixed reviews on here. But we shouldn't have worried...the hotel was brilliant! As were the staff, the management, the facilities, the room, the whole package. We had a great time from the moment we entered the hotel, until the very second we left. Could things have been better? Obviously! But we hadn't paid for a 5* hotel, and I think a lot of people who are leaving bad reviews, are expecting too much for the price (though other genuine problems may have arisen) I understand the price you pay depends on the time of year you go, but if you're paying a lot in the high season for Marbel, just imagine what you'd be paying for the 5* equivalent then too. The all inclusive choice of food was amazing, the drinks were basic (vodka/gin/rum/whisky/wine/beer/soft drinks) you could pay extra for premium brand names, but there was enough choice for us without paying extra. There was a great selection of add ons available, trips to Ephesus, Hot Air Balloon Experiences, Turkish Baths, Quad Bike Experiences, Private Green Beach Day, to name but a few. The reps were in the hotel every day or two in person, or there were contact numbers to arrange and pick up was always (for our trips at least) direct from and to the hotel. All in all...for my first experience of Turkey and of an all inclusive package, I had no bad experiences, only good ones and a lot of great times and memories to go along with those. Thank You! to all at Marbel for making my holiday brilliant...hopefully see you soon

This is a small budget hotel located a little way out of town that said we enjoyed our stay. The food, drink and service were good. The hotel has a small pool which is reasonable. Would recommend for a "cheap£ break away.
