GGuest UserWe loved the very accessible, reasonable price, service, easy check in and check out, bed is firm enough for good back support and good sleep, it was truly a great stay . The only problem we encountered is that the noise from hallway and other rooms can be heard in our room.

SSimYenHotel location is very convenient, just behind Mitsukoshi Department and across Taipei Main Station. Very good for catching early morning train as us. Look out for the lift lobby, is just beyond the boba tea shop, lobby is 5th level. Plenty of food options around the area.

GGuest UserI had a great stay at Papa Whale Hotel in Ximending, Taipei! Before my trip, I emailed them with a few questions, and the staff responded promptly every time. When I arrived a bit early before check-in, I could comfortably wait in the lobby, which was really nice and cozy. The staff were super helpful and spoke English very well. The hotel’s location is fantastic—right in Ximending, close to the night market and within walking distance to convenience stores, the MRT, and lots of great spots. It’s a popular place for tourists, so it tends to be fully booked often. I also opted for the breakfast buffet, which was really convenient. They had a good variety of dishes, including some nice shabu and other options, so I didn’t have to go out hunting for food in the morning—definitely worth it. The price overall was quite reasonable and good value for what you get. As for the room, I chose a basement room, which was actually quiet and cozy. The bed was comfortable, and I slept very well. The bathroom was nice, and the lighting was good. The housekeeping staff cleaned the room every day and always asked for permission politely if I was still inside—really considerate. While the room wasn’t super large, it was modern and clean. If I needed anything extra, the staff were always happy to help. It’s a short walk to the main Ximending walking street, and once you get used to it, it’s really convenient. Plus, there are lots of nice spots for photos if you like taking pictures. Overall, I slept really well and had a great experience. I’d definitely stay at Papa Whale again if I have the chance! 🩵

SSiva Rama 256Check in takes only 5 minutes and check out much more faster with 10 seconds with a self check out machine that will suck in your room card. Check in gets faster with your reply to the property telling them what type of room you have booked and what time you'll arrive. With booming businesses and too many bookings, the staff might get entangled in mess, so partially you reply is helping them to get grounded and avoid mistakes. The property is clean, neat, nice and next to easy transport and family mart and 7e.

GGuest UserSmooth check in but they do not offer early check in. Safe hotel you even need key card to access the floors so plus 1 for safety. Have an elevator right outside the hotel that connects to MRT so you will have no problem carrying your luggage. They provide coupon for breakfast so if you did not use it for the day you can use the coupon for additional person on the next days. They have lots of offering for breakfast, cake, fruits, cereal, even hot chocolate! I wish they can offer soup tho. They even have weighing scale in the reception area for your luggages. Will definitely recommend this hotel and if I go back to Taipei, I will use this hotel again. Also, one of the Hello Kitty themes 7-eleven is right below this hotel.

GGuest UserI like this place as it's very convenient to all the taipei main station and they provided all the amenities! Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Dyson for the hair dryer is TOP. Very safe and has luggage storage before/after check in/out
