The front desk staff were quite friendly and attentive. Cleanliness was just okay; there was long hair on the sink, and the floor wasn't swept properly, with lint visible. Don't ask for proof, I didn't take pictures, but there's no point in deliberately badmouthing them. Facilities were basic, but the business room was usable. The main advantage is its convenient access to the subway. The outsourced breakfast's peanut butter and meat patty sandwich was good. For the first two days, we got one meal voucher per room, but on the third day, we received two, which was great as we could try the turnip cake stir-fried with rice cakes. But I wonder why the standard changed.

I had a wonderful stay at Taipei Fullerton South Hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful amenities that made me feel right at home. The location was perfect — close to public transport, shops, and great local food spots. Breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of options. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Taipei!

This is my second time staying at the Dandy Daan Park There's a very welcoming feeling at this hotel. It's nice to have some snacks not only in the room, but in the lobby that you are not charged for. It's refreshing to interact with a business that's not trying to make extra money off of small things. There's not even a charge for the machines in the laundry room. The staff is wonderful. One of them even walked next door with me to 7-Eleven to help me out with the machine Ihad to use to pay for my train tickets, the rooms are small, but extremely comfortable.

The Taipei Park Hotel met our needs during our visit to Taipei. It is a typical hotel that offers the basic standards expected in this price range, both for facilities and in-room amenities. The hotel and room were clean and free of any smoky smell, which was a definite plus. Having a subway station entrance right outside the hotel made public transportation especially convenient, and Uber and taxis were also easy to access from this location. Our interaction with hotel staff was minimal but met our needs—nothing particularly remarkable to note. One issue was the hotel's environmentally friendly policy: rooms are supposed to be made up every three days, but during our four-day stay, this service was not provided for our room.

The location of the hotel is excellent . The airport bus stop just Infront of the hotel and if those who wish to go to Jiufen, the bus stop is just 100m away . Da an mrt station is just 10 mins walk away .
Breakfast was excellent . It’s cheaper to book room include breakfast . We stayed for our breakfast from 0800-1030 hours !
The only setback was we were not allowed to extend our checkout time by 1 hour as the receptionist claimed the hotel fully booked for the day but however if we wish to extend, we can but have to pay !

The hotel is old and outdated - with the furnishings and equipment breaking.
1/ Room was cold. It was winter. Heat was not an option - because it doesn't turn on. To make it worse - the room was damp and moist. So you're sleeping in a cold damp room in the winter season.
2/ The panel controls don't really work. There are buttons to selectively switch off lights - but they don't work. So you got to turn everything off at night time. Can't leave the night light option on, to see better in a dark room at night.
3/ The bathtub leaks water when you shower. Photo taken.
4/ Even the water dispenser leaks water. Photo taken.
Only good thing is they provide a free breakfast. They also provide a happy hour in the evenings.

The location is excellent, right by Taipei's prime Daan Forest Park. It's a bit of a walk to the subway, which is why the price isn't steep; it's quite a bargain. You're just a short stroll away from Taipei's most expensive luxury residences, Di Bao. Although the room is a bit dated, it's fully equipped and even has a scenic bathtub. The breakfast is also very good. Highly recommended!

I had such a great experience here. My flight landed at 6:00 AM, so I showed up at the hotel way before check-in time. Even though the room wasn't ready yet, the staff were so sweet and helpful. They handled my pre-check-in and tucked my bags away safely so I could head out and explore.
When I got back at 3:00 PM, everything was ready—my key card was waiting, and my luggage had already been sent up to my room. So smooth and hassle-free!
The location is also a total 10/10. It’s right near Exit 3 of Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station, which makes getting around the city a breeze. The room itself was super spacious, clean, and honestly just really comfy.
Just a quick heads-up though: I didn't see a toothbrush or toothpaste kit in the room, so you might want to bring your own. But seriously, everything else was spot on. Highly recommend this spot for your next Taipei trip!

GGuest User1. Misleading Entrance Signage
Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable.
2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance
When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside?
3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior
After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues.
As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight.
We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of:
- Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance
- Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival
- Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior
We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future.

GGuest UserGetting here is super convenient! From Taipei Main Station, take exit Z2 and you'll see the hotel building right away. Enter through the side, and check-in is on the 5th floor. The room and bathroom were very clean, with a Japanese-style toilet that even had a bidet function. The room wasn't huge, but it wasn't cramped either. We booked a twin room, which was very comfortable. The location is great for transportation as it's right in the heart of the transport hub. I'll definitely stay here again next time. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe hotel is bright, clean, and in a good location. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing.
During check-in, the staff (a lady with a birthmark on her left cheek) spoke to me in a very condescending and rude tone, as though I owed her something. I also observed that she treated other guests in the same manner. If she is unhappy with her job, she should quit rather than leave hotel guests with such an unpleasant experience.
Upon checkout, I left my luggage at the hotel and was asked what time I would collect it. I informed her that I would return at 10 pm., but she insisted that I collect it before 10 pm. As my flight was at 2 am., this forced me to rush back earlier than planned and head to the airport much sooner than necessary.

SSiva Rama 256Check in takes only 5 minutes and check out much more faster with 10 seconds with a self check out machine that will suck in your room card.
Check in gets faster with your reply to the property telling them what type of room you have booked and what time you'll arrive. With booming businesses and too many bookings, the staff might get entangled in mess, so partially you reply is helping them to get grounded and avoid mistakes.
The property is clean, neat, nice and next to easy transport and family mart and 7e.

Also because it's basement room, there is a constant musky smell emitting from the toilet and filled up the room pretty fast. Have request for a change of room but it is similar issue. Overall it's a comfortable stay near XMD but the room smell is pretty bad.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is great, and it's also close to Taipei Main Station. If you're taking the Airport MRT, I recommend exiting from Taipei Main Station A1, Exit 5. From there, you can walk straight to the hotel, which takes about 10 minutes (including waiting for traffic lights).
The nearby MRT stations are NTU Hospital Station (3-minute walk) and Taipei Main Station (7-minute walk). There are also many bus stops, making transportation very convenient.
Regarding the check-in experience, the hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor, and guest rooms for this hotel occupy floors 3-5. There are only two elevators, and since the building houses other businesses, waiting for an elevator can take a while.
The front desk staff were professional and efficient. Before check-in, there was about a minute-long 'rap' outlining the check-in policies.
The hotel bed was comfortable, and the room and bathroom were clean. It seems to have been recently renovated, as it felt spacious and bright. Soundproofing was acceptable; I could still hear cleaning noises from outside and sounds from the adjacent room. I chose a room with a window this time, but the window couldn't be opened.
Amenities provided were limited to slippers and toilet paper. The shampoo and shower gel were a 2-in-1 product, with a light, pleasant scent and no strange odors.
Overall, it was a pretty good stay, even exceeding my expectations.

The service was outstanding. The staff were friendly, responsive, and always willing to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
Cleanliness was good overall. The room was generally well-maintained, though there’s still a bit of room for improvement to make it perfect.
The amenities were average. Basic facilities are available, but don’t expect too many extras or luxury features.
Overall, it’s a great choice for families looking for convenience and good service.

GGuest UserI got an upgrade to a double bed, which was more comfortable. However, the hostel itself is tiny – the dorm room, the lobby, everything. Our room had 6 beds with lockers, but my 20-inch luggage wouldn't fit. There's nowhere to hang anything by the beds, so everyone just leaves their stuff outside the lockers.
The bathrooms are small and crowded. The sinks are always wet, so there's no space to put your toiletries. There are no bins inside, so you have to take your rubbish outside. There are two hairdryers, and you often have to wait to use them. The location is good, right behind Shinkong [Mitsukoshi] Taipei Main. Overall, it's decent for the price.
