This is a great hotel! The rooms are very spacious, and the staff are incredibly friendly and proactive, always greeting guests warmly. The location is super convenient for getting around. Breakfast was excellent and varied, offering fantastic value for money. A major plus is that the hotel is situated directly above Wanda Plaza, and parking is conveniently available in its car park. While you initially pay for parking yourself upon exit, the hotel even reimbursed the fee via WeChat, which was a lovely bonus!

Having stayed here before and had a good experience, I decided to bring my family back for the National Day holiday. It's only a two or three-minute walk from Wanda Plaza, and the kids loved being able to go swimming and play in the sandpit. This time, there were two incidents that really highlighted the excellent service we received.
First, a family member left their phone on the dining table after a meal. When they immediately went downstairs to look for it, they were told it had already been handed over to the front desk. The front desk simply asked them to unlock the phone to retrieve it.
Second, one of the glass toiletries cups was accidentally broken by my child. When checking out, I proactively informed the staff and offered to have the cost deducted from my deposit. To my surprise, the staff member on duty first asked if my child was hurt, and then told me there was no need to deduct any fee. That was truly unexpected!
This stay definitely felt like five-star service. Thank you~

When I checked in, I told the front desk that I had a quieter room because I didn't sleep well. I didn't understand whether the front desk didn't understand or deliberately arranged the first room in the corridor, and everyone would pass by. The corner of the room, there are windows on both walls, and both windows are facing the road and are crossroads. Is the so-called quiet just the opposite?

I've stayed here several times when visiting friends in Nansha. It's always my go-to because it's very close to the subway station, super convenient, and the price is really good. This time, I even discovered a delicious BBQ place right next door! It's just so handy. I'll definitely be back!

Our room was on a high floor with a great view, and having a washing machine and fridge made everything so convenient! Whenever we needed something, the staff were super quick to respond. The security downstairs was also excellent; you had to use face recognition or a QR code to enter and exit. It was a really good experience, and I'd definitely come back! (Forgot to take room photos, so here's a pic of the delicious piggy buns from Tao Tao Ju instead! 🥳)

Environment: Located in the core area of Zhujiang New Town, it offers panoramic views of the entire city center, and the scenery is quite good.
Cleanliness: This time, the cleanliness was not up to par. There was a sticky residue in the bathroom that hadn't been cleaned.
Service: The service was hard to describe. This is my second time at Rosewood. My first impression was that the overall service felt rather arrogant. This time, the service attitude seemed to have improved, but many procedures had issues. I arrived at 4:00 PM and there was no room available. They proactively offered complimentary access to the executive lounge, and I was only informed that the room was ready around 5 or 6 PM. After discovering the cleanliness issue, the handling was relatively prompt. They sent someone to clean, and the duty manager proactively offered a late checkout and complimentary champagne and desserts. The attitude towards resolving the issue was very good, but the fact that so many problems occurred in just one night reflects shortcomings in the overall service system. I hope they can comprehensively improve the quality of service to justify the price.
It's worth noting that the Executive Deluxe River View Room no longer includes executive lounge access. The butler informed me that this benefit was removed due to low usage and now requires a separate purchase. However, I saw a video from a butler blogger this year that still showed this benefit being offered. I'm not sure if it was recently canceled, but the room price remains similar to before, so it seems consumers are bearing all the costs.

SShreyMy mom and I were travelling to Guangzhou for the first time and wanted a place that was central and close to the Beijing pedestrian walking street as well as other sites . I was landing at 5 in the morning and was worried about the check in procedure . But Lee from the reception was very helpful . He gave me good instructions and told me how to reach the room . We arrived early morning and everything was ready . The room was clean , well ventilated and comfy . Bed was comfy and we had a good sleep . The reception was very helpful in guiding us towards guangdong cuisine and sites to see . The experience was so good we extended the stay and explored Guangzhou further . The place is very convenient and is right next to the subway stop (line 2) . I think il be staying here again when im in Guangzhou

This hotel was quite mediocre, and I stayed there for three days during the New Year's Day holiday. The hygiene was subpar; you could see old, yellowish stains in the corners of the shower. The hand towels were placed on the sink outside the bathroom, and the bath towels were even in the wardrobe near the window, far from the toilet, which was inconvenient. The showerhead couldn't be fixed in place, and the drainage was poor, so water would overflow into the bathroom during showers, leaving the entire toilet area wet. There was no full-length mirror. While the sink had a large mirror, it wasn't good for seeing your full body or even facial details, so those who need to do their makeup should really reconsider. The inner window offered no natural light, and the room lighting was very dim. There were too many switches, and because it was so dark, it took ages to figure out which switch was for what. The air conditioning was very ineffective. Guangzhou had a cold spell during my stay, and even with the AC on all night, it was still chilly. The laundry room was even worse; the dryer simply didn't dry clothes. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive either, and the stir-fried noodles, rice, and vegetables, which should have been hot, were all cold. However, the cleaning staff were all very nice and proactively asked if I needed anything. The front desk staff's attitude was acceptable, and they responded quickly. The price was inflated during the New Year's Day period, but even the regular prices aren't low. Frankly, the facilities don't justify the price.

Even though there was a small hiccup in the middle, the overall experience was still good, from the front desk reception to the pickup driver, everyone was nice! 👍 The room was quite spacious, and we had to walk a fair bit to get around. After checking in, my husband, son, and I went to a local food stall for our first meal. Guangzhou hotels often have beautiful orange trees right outside, which is a lovely touch.

I really like the unique corridor design, and the breakfast is great – a good variety and quite filling. A special shout-out to the cleaning lady on the 11th floor on the 28th. She found my ID card holder that I'd lost in the hallway and returned it to me. While it wasn't valuable, it saved me a lot of hassle! It immediately made me feel a real connection to the hotel.
