Amazing
SShuijinshuijinThe location is decent, just a three-minute walk from Shirahama Station. There are supermarkets and small restaurants nearby, making it suitable for a 1-2 day stay. The owner is a friendly and welcoming Chinese lady. I booked a double room, which was spacious and warm with air conditioning. The only drawback was that the double bed was made up of two single beds pushed together, and there was a very hard board at the joint, which made me, who is used to sleeping in the middle of the bed, feel a bit uncomfortable.

GGuest UserAt first we were hesitant about the quality of the hotel because there were not many reviews on trip.com. Later, we decided to stay at this hotel after seeing many good reviews on Google and Japan Hotel Reservation Network. The staff are very kind and friendly, the room is comfortable and there is a private bath. Because we checked in on Christmas Day, the hotel also arranged a bingo game, and every participating guest also received a gift, which was very happy! We chose a room with two meals, and they also got a big chicken spleen for Christmas, which was very filling and satisfying! ! A very unforgettable experience. The room is as good as the picture. I will choose this hotel next time I come to Shirahama! The quality of one stay and two meals is also very high! The bear bison and abalone are really delicious.

GGuest UserThe room is very big, with great views and is very quiet. It is located close to Shirahama Station and the seafood market. The bus to the door is a 10-minute walk. The road is a bit dark at night. It is very convenient to take the bus to the beach and the Three Broken Walls, but the waiting time is too long. There are not many places to eat around. There is a pretty good ramen restaurant near the bus station. I suggest you either go back to the hotel after eating or book dinner at the hotel. The hotel actually has a shuttle bus that can take you to Shirahama Station. You just need to make an appointment with the front desk in advance, which is great. It's a bit inconvenient that you can't take a shower in the house, you can only go to the hot spring, but the hot spring is open from 6 to 9 in the morning. If you get up late, you may not be able to take a shower. We didn't dare to try it. A full meal for two people at the seafood market only costs 300 RMB. To go to Nachi Taisha Shrine and Kumano Kodo, you have to calculate the bus and Kuroshio Current time. It is still worthwhile to go there and back in one day. It is much more convenient than Kii-Katsuura. I stayed here for four days and three nights. I went to different places every day and came back to soak in hot springs to relieve fatigue. It is very cost-effective. By the way, Conan fans will feel very good.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shirahama for a relaxing getaway. First off, the location is fantastic. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and after taking bus #12 from Shirahama JR Station, you get off directly at the hotel. The hotel staff are very welcoming and were at the entrance to help with luggage – super friendly! Across the street from the hotel is Shirarahama Beach, which is stunning whether it's cloudy or sunny. The white sand paired with the blue ocean is a real treat for the eyes. Shirahama is very quiet at night, and shops close early, but within a five-minute walk, there's a FamilyMart, Lawson, and a 24-hour supermarket. So, if you need snacks or drinks, these are great options. The hotel also has a microwave on the first floor for heating food. You can even buy fireworks at the supermarket to enjoy on the beach. Room: The room was very spacious with plenty of space and directly faced the beach. During my two-day stay, I spent time just relaxing in the room, watching the sunset, observing people on the beach, or heading downstairs to cross the road and lie on the beach or play in the water. It was incredibly relaxing for both my mind and body. The room had both a bathtub and a shower. The bathtub was right next to the balcony, so you could soak while enjoying the view. The hotel also has indoor hot springs, but unfortunately, I couldn't use them. Service: Most of the staff were middle-aged men and women, very kind and gentle. There was also a Chinese-speaking girl with a particularly soft voice who always greeted me with a smile. The service was excellent. Although breakfast was the same every day, it tasted quite good. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely choose Sanrakuso again if I come back to Shirahama.

GGuest UserThe hotel facility is excellent and perfectly clean with a high-class traditional japanese service standard. Our room was a deluxe room with private hot spring tub. It's a little pricy while I think it's perfect to celebrate the anniversary with my wife. Dinner and breakfast were good, while it may not be the best comparing with other hotels in the major cities. The sightseeing points are also within 5-10 mins driving distance from the hotel. We expected to watch the sunset at the balcony, while on that day the weather was a bit cloudy so we didn't take a nice photo here.

GGuest UserThis hotel offers self-check-in. The hotel will send you a check-in code via Ctrip Messages. Simply follow the on-screen instructions. It's about 150 meters from the bus stop, making it a beautiful and quiet area. The bakery downstairs is delicious. The room isn't large, but the balcony is nice. Shirahama's coastal attractions are easily accessible by bus or on foot. The Sandanbeki and Thousand Layer Terraces are both within a 1km walk, and bus access to attractions like White Beach is also available. The public kitchen downstairs offers purified drinking water and a microwave.

MM223239****The room was even better than it looked in the pictures. Bathrobes and towels were replaced daily, and the kitchen downstairs had a full set of utensils, making for a very comfortable stay. The Shin-Yuzaki bus stop right outside was convenient for getting around, and the shared hotel public bath was great, not too crowded even during the National Day holiday. The popular ramen shop and bakery nearby are also worth recommending!

GGuest UserFacilities: The onsen is a traditional Japanese hot spring. While the outdoor bath doesn't offer scenic views, the water temperature was perfect. We stayed in a Japanese-style room this time. The occupancy was low, so it was peaceful and uncrowded. Cleanliness: It was spotless and met all standards. Environment: The location is fantastic! It's right next to Senjojiki and just a 3-5 minute walk from the only small restaurant in the vicinity.

GGeraldLim1Beautiful Ryokan! The room I stayed in had tatami floors and western beds. The doors slide instead of open outwards like they usually do. Toilets are relatively small, but the shower had great water pressure and temperature! However we did not shower much because.. We showered at the Onsen instead since we were there to spend time! The Onsen is tattoo-friendly as confirmed by the check in staff, and the water really had skin smoothing effects. Yukatas are available at lobby area for all guests, and level two has a restaurant with microwave and ice machine outside for your konbini meals. No view from the room, but that's fine cos the Onsen itself was worth a visit. Steep short hill up to the lobby, but if you drive then that's fine. Free to use outdoor BBQ area, but didn't have the chance to. Rooms were comfy, sleep was good with minimal disturbance. Side note: my underwear got stolen at the onsen and I never managed to find it back again but that's fine cos it was worth the Onsen experience. Stayed two nights here, no regrets, would totally do it again! Oh and Onsen area has got numbered lockers to store your belongings but not your undies!
